Yes South Africa's performance before T20 World Cup is really disappointing. In yesterday's last T20 match too, South Africa managed to score only 163 runs for seven wickets. Johnson Charles played a brilliant innings of 69 off 26 balls in the second innings. West Indies won by 8 wickets with one ball in hand in six overs. South Africa lost all three matches in the series. Although Markram, Heinrich Klaasen were not two important players in this series, if they had, things might have been different. Since the T20 World Cup will be held in the West Indies this time, West Indies will have an added home advantage in the World Cup if they can maintain the performance they have shown in the three-match series.

Absolutely agree with you, I am trying to find if we have some good players in the team. Yes we do have good players but none of them are in good form and that matter the most when you want to win series and tornaments.

Suggestions:- Shadab Khan has done only good fielding otherwise he affords too much score in just 5 overs, in yesterday's match his performance was not good so I think Babar Azam has to give him multiple chances to play because he is such a good player and when he play too many matches then see his mistakes and change them. Because this is like a practice series before the World Cup that will start in the next few days, it will be the real test that will be starting and have to be prepare for this. In the four overs he bowled, he gave over 50 runs and when he cames to bat then he was out too early. 

Not only you but the entire Indian audience and cricket fans are unhappy with such a poor performance by Sunrisers Hyderabad.A final match performance should not be so bad, a final match performance should be exciting.Sunrisers Hyderabad's batting performance was the biggest surprise in the final match as their batsmen had a sloppy performance due to which they could not score many runs.They might have been looking to bat aggressively from the start which got them out early but if they had played patiently then the match would have been competitive and exciting.Kolkata Knight Riders have shown the same power from the beginning of this tournament, they also showed power in the final match and even won the title.

I am also unhappy with Sunrisers Hyderabad SRH performance in IPL final match against Kolkata Knight Riders KKR. I was thinking it would be high scoring match but SRH did very poorly and got lowest score in IPL final match. And you are right SRH batting strategy was wrong. They tried to score too many runs too quickly instead of playing safely and this led to big collapse. In the end KKR won easily and soon everyone will be focused on T20 World Cup which will be a new and exciting event.

It wasn't like a final match, and no one expected such a low performance. Soon after winning the toss, I predicted that SRH would perform really well and we could watch a nice match of 200+ runs. Everything collapsed, SRH was really bad, and when the wicket started to fall, someone should've stood up and contributed. They were focusing on the big score, and the wicket continued to fall. It is the lowest score in an IPL final match, and it is the lowest score in this IPL season. KKR reached the target in a much more comfortable manner, and the 2024 season has come to an end. Now everyone starts to think of the T20 World Cup, scheduled to start within a week.

Yeh it's true that some South Africa main players were not available due to IPL but still they have several number of thier starting XI player but they unable to divert results in thier favour and thus quite worrying things for th because soon they will travel west indies home ground to face them and some others teams on West Indies home ground in T20 World cup which will be quite difficult to manage and that second consecutive defeat for them against West Indies they way USA does with Bangladesh here the common things is that both USA and west indies are world cup host and both have home ground series where they clearly shown how they will properly utilize thier home ground edge. So the things is both team took thier opponent light and the face thier mistakes consequences. Anyway many many congratulations to west indies and USA for phenomenal results against strong side hope we will see several number of competitive fights in T20 World cup

Boss, One thing that is very important is that in all the finals I have seen, the play has been so bad that the joy of the day's final has been dampened. The record of the most runs in this year's IPL was that of Sunrisers Hyderabad, but today, especially the final game, Sunrisers Hyderabad was so bad that I have no comment about today's final. However, Kolkata Knight Riders deserved to be the champions of this year's IPL and they got the reward they deserved. Best wishes to Kolkata Knight Riders for becoming champions of this year's IPL.

With this last third match of Bangladesh tour to USA, this competition was also successfully completed without any delay or interruption. In this this last match, I really surprised by the performance Bangladesh squad which was displayed in their innings. But we did not ignore the performance of USA sqaud in previous two matches and Bangladesh squad is the international squad and participated in many big competition and first time I see USA team to play with international squad Bangladesh and surprising things that They defeated two times in T20I competition and all main players of Bangladesh i think take part in this competition against USA sqaud. This is the good start of USA squad and their performance was also very impressive and shocking. Hope in next competition USA sqaud will perform better and improve some mistakes who made in last match.

Sunrisers Hyderabad have been on a rampage with the bat early in their innings throughout the tournament. But in today's final match, I did not expect that Hyderabad will be reduced to 113 runs. Mitchell Starc has proved why he is the most expensive player in this tournament. The final match was not like the final match, Kolkata Knight Riders had the last laugh.

Yep, there was more hype for CSK vs RCB match and it was enjoyable too. The qualification equation had made the game like a final match. But all the matches of playoffs were boring including the final game. The end of the IPL wasn't really enjoyable as it should be. SRH has made some records with their strong batting line-up in this season. But they failed to entertain the spectators in the playoffs and final match. I wasn't expecting such low scoring final.

It is right that the Bangladesh team got a huge victory in this last match of the T20 series and the fans of the Bangladesh team have been able to give some confidence to the fans. And saved his country from great shame. I never imagined that the Bangladesh team will be able to show such a magical surprise in the last match of this series. Bangladesh team can become one of the best cricket team in the world if they can maintain the performance they have shown in this last match. Although the Bangladesh team lost the series against the United States, the performance of the Bangladesh team players in the last match made them forget the pain of the series defeat.

The entire team of Pakistan is in a very bad state right now.   There are a lot of talented bowlers in the Pakistan squad.   But the bowlers are not able to bowl as well as expected. And this is also why the party is lagging behind. But I would say Pakistan's biggest weakness is the erratic performance of their batsmen.

There is not a single batsman in Pakistan's squad at the moment who is capable of consistently performing well. The batting of talented batsmen like Babar and Rizwan is also quite erratic. If the batsmen continue to perform so erratically, it would be foolish to expect anything better from this team in the next World Cup.   Personally I think the situation of Bangladesh and Pakistan is almost the same at the moment.   The performances of both these teams have been very poor and erratic.

As the two South African openers started very well. And collected 81 runs in 5 overs. I thought the match was completely under South Africa's control and South Africa would win this match very easily.   But after De Kock was out, no other batsman could stay at the crease for long.   South Africa lost the wicket of Hendricks in the next over.

South Africa's total was 81 in the first 5 overs.   But in the next 10 overs, the team collected only 61 runs.   And because of this bad batting of 10 overs, South Africa lost the match. Ryan Rickelton scored 19 runs off 17 balls and Matthew Breetzke scored 12 runs off 16 balls.   Because of these two innings, South Africa lost this match.

I agree that Jofra Archer is fully fit but there is one problem that could be hard for him and for the England team and that is he is not a extra fast pacer. Also when this drawback exists then to recover this is too much hard and also take too much time.

By the way, this mistake was also made by the England Cricket Board which is that there is no speed produced by Jofra Archer, he is doing the ball at 88 speed, which is the average speed of him and he cannot cross 100. Also, this mistake was made by the England Cricket Board because they didn’t give the chance to him to play in most of their matches.

I was not at all prepared to see such a performance from Hyderabad in the final match.   Was looking forward to watching a competitive match. Because both Hyderabad and Calcutta are very strong.   The players were also in very good form.   Despite having such a strong batting order, Hyderabad lost all their wickets to collect only 113 runs. This was Hyderabad's lowest collection in this year's IPL. Pat Cummins scored the maximum 24 runs.

Every bowler in the Kolkata squad bowled very well. But Starc and Russell bowled well. Starc picked up two crucial wickets of Abhishek Sharma and Rahul Tripathi. Russell took the wickets of Marakram, Abdul Samad and Cummins. The Kolkata team won the match easily due to the excellent bowling of the bowlers.

I understand that Bangladesh was able to win the last match against the USA by a huge margin. Bangladesh was able to win by 10 wickets. Of course, that is good. But Bangladesh should be really ashamed that they have actually lost the series against the USA in the first place. This makes me believe that Bangladesh actually went to the USA for shopping and traveling, not for playing the World Cup. I genuinely think that Bangladesh is going to be the first team to get knocked out of this World Cup. How did they manage to lose the series against the USA?

That is really going to be a surprise for everyone. Well, I guess you cannot expect anything better when you have Shanto as the captain of Bangladesh. How the hell is this guy the captain of the Bangladesh cricket team in all three formats of cricket? Captain is supposed to lead from the front. This guy cannot score in tests, cannot score in ODI, and plays test cricket T20 match. I understand that he does the research about his opponent. But research can be done by anyone right?

If I only needed his captaincy, I would have brought in Mashrafe as the captain. and I am 100% sure that he would have done a better job than him. Mashrafe was the man to make people believe that Bangladesh can actually be a world-class cricket team. But now it is all going downhill.

I don't think there was anything wrong with batting first, I think SRH were batters were simply outplayed, some of deliveries where batters got out were absolutely beauties — one where Abhishek got out and other of Harshit Rana where he got batsman caught behind. Mitchel Starc played good when team needed him most, KKR must be satiated with purchase now.


I don't think IPL is scripted, but I won't argue either.

KKR absolutely bossed in qualifier and in the final, well deserved win. Shreyas defeating Cummins, must give some confidence to Indians for further versus Aussie encounters.

...and there ends the IPL, now we wait for t20wc, just about a week to go.

Congrats KKR! Loved their consistent performances throughout the tournament. 3 time champs! SRH deserve being the runner up despite the one sided finale. Favorite IPL season so far.

True! Am really disappointed with SRH's horrendous performance in this finale, but I am satisfied with them settling for the second position to be honest thanks to their amazing records and performances throughout the season.

Sunrises Hyderabad disappointing performance after winning the toss in most important final match of the tournament all out in just 113 runs in just 18.3 overs of the match. The bowling performance of Kolkata kings Riders are outstanding especially Andre Russell who picked 3 important wickets by just giving only 19 runs. Mitchell Starc bowling well picked 2 wickets by giving only 14 runs and restricted Sunrises Hyderabad under 120 runs. I think Kolkata kings Riders easily won this final match.

Do you still think it is surprising? I know you people do not like my theories but before the start of the tornament, it was pre-decided that IPL 2024 should be awarded to Shah Rukh Khan.
As far as entertainment is concerned, i think they needed to work on it, atleast make the final somewhat thriller for everyone.



My dear, they learnt from their mistakes but this final was not in their control. Maybe if some day the secrets are revealed  
The IPL didn't lose its entertainment, it was very entertaining and successful but the final was a bit disappointing. I think the director of the IPL needs to keep the thrill in the final match too.
