You can never be sure about the Bangladesh cricket team whether they will win or lose today's match. Although we know that the USA cricket team is much weaker than Bangladesh, but today's match did not show that attitude, but the way Bangladesh performed, it seemed that the Bangladesh cricket team was much weaker than the USA cricket team. SRH team played very disappointing game today and showed very poor struggle in batting line and I did not expect such effort from SRH team in semi final game. SRH team won toss and they got a opportunity to select bat or bowl first and SRH team decided to choose bat and gave a target. SRH team set 159 runs target in 19.3 overs and lost all wickets. In early, M.Starc got a very important wicket of SRH team in second ball of first over T.Head and also A.Sharma he made only 3 runs. R.Tripathi performed well and scored good runs for SrH team total 55 runs in 35 balls and he hitted seven 4s and one 6s. Klaasen scored 32 runs in 21 balls and other Batsman only made few runs before out Cummins also played good than other batsman and made 30 runs. After seeing target of SRH team, KKR have good chance for win and this team would be proved by chasing all target easily and win this 1 st semi final game and qualify for final game Congratulations SRH team. M.Starc got a player of game award due to his brilliant bowling effort and he bowled out 3 wickets in 4 overs with 34 balls. Of course Bangladesh is much stronger than United States of America team. In these three matches series USA has the to prove if they will perform well so I hope they will be recognised as good team. At this time we don't count USA team as in top teams. Still I am looking that they will be white washed by Bangladeshi team but we can't underestimate the USA team. The result could have been different there if SRH got got a good start with their openers. Unfortunately, both of the openers failed to contribute in the important match. I was seeing a little hope for SRH there with the partnership of Klaasen and Tripathi, but it had faded too. The target wasn't competitive. Anyway, I'm also expecting SRH to be the opponent of KKR in the final.

When a good score was expected from Sunrisers Hyderabad , suddenly the collapse started. I expected the match to score 180 or more. No one could perform except Tripathi in the match. Klaasen got some runs but not enough as he scored 31 off 21 balls. Head is expected to be high in this team but he has to go back to zero runs in today's important match. His other teammates also did not play well. Due to which Kolkata got a very easy win. If they able to score 200 or more in the match, the match would have been pretty well. Sunrisers Hyderabad did well in the beginning and middle of the tournament but towards the end the team seemed to lose their momentum.

Surprising that the overall discussion is missing the captaincy angle, even during post-match analysis, especially when it comes to KKR or Shreyas Iyer.

A fair amount of commentary went about Sanju, Pant even Cummins (Faf going under the radar cause of Viart) but not Iyer, considering before the IPL his career trajectory was going down but he led KKR nicely without any fuss.

Yes, you are correct. If their bowlers worked hard and struggled, bowled well, this target could have been a good target too. At this point, I am pretty sure that this IPL does not mean anything. SRH has given a target of 160. Which is in no way a bad target. And KKR has been able to that total with 38 balls left. They have also done that with eight wickets in hand. This is just meaningless and a waste of time. whenever I tune in to watch the IPL I actually literally see that the ball is flying out of the ground. I mean I understand that people want to see lots of boundaries and over boundaries being hit in a T20 match. But this is a little too much.

Despite losing two wickets we are having KKR in well control thanks to their openers Sunil Narain and wicket keeper batsman Rahmanullah Gurbaz after end of the 8 overs we are having 86 for 2 which is clearly showing things are under well control for win this Qualifier 1 and having their spot into final of this season with SRH which is having good batting throughout the season fail to give any positive impact on this important game with their bowling was already not good and KKR are taking good advantage of this weakness now we are having both Iyers on crease with both are looking for the commendable win which will give them good booster and confidence for the winning this year's title left-handed Venkatesh Iyer playing his best game as this is good season for him as well for having good performance throughout and good wins for his team.
