We are witnessing one match full of failures from Pakistan women's team, they also lost badly against West Indies women's team few days back. Now the England women's team series is going on with them. England women team batted first and got a strong score of 163 runs for 6 wickets in 20 overs. England women's top order batsmen did not play well but their lower order batsmen performed very well bye they scored so many runs. On the other hand, all the batsmen of Pakistan team failed to give their best performance due to which they could not cross the target given by England women team. Apart from Sadaf Shamas, the batting performance of any other batsman of Pakistan women's team is not worth seeing.

It is Pak-W 6th defeat in last seven T20I they have played. Recently they lost 4-1 to WI in Pakistan and now things are not looking good in England as Pakistan has lost the series and only thing they can do at the moment is to avoid the whitewash. Terrible batting by Pakistan team in second T20I, eight players were not able to make it to double figures while chasing a target of 145.

The way the batsmen of Lucknow Super Giants are batting, it seems that Mumbai Indians will not be able to give a big target to Mumbai Indians. Lucknow Super Giants current score is 70 runs for 3 wickets. Looking at their current state of play, it seems that if they bat well, they can give Mumbai Indians a target of 170 runs. Can Lucknow Super Giants.  If the bowlers of Mumbai Indians can restrict Lucknow Super Giants to 170 runs then Mumbai Indians will not have much problem to win the match. Although it doesn't matter whether Mumbai Indians win or lose in today's match, Mumbai Indians are at the bottom of the points table, so maybe the captain of Mumbai Indians wants to end the last match with a win. Let's see if Mumbai Indians win today's match?
Lucknow Super Giants batting performance is amazing in this match winning by 18 runs against Mumbai Indians. The Player of the Match Nicholas Pooran from Lucknow Super Giants for his outstanding batting performance scored 75 runs from just 30 balls, unfortunately missed his well deserved century by few runs short but reached the team total to 200 plus runs. Lucknow Super Giants moved to 6th position on point table after winning this match.
Despite winning yesterday's match and moving up to number 6 in the points table, Lucknow Super Giants could not make gains as they were already eliminated. If they could have performed like Lucknow's incredible performance against Mumbai Indians in the previous three matches of this match, they might have been able to play in the qualifier round. But they failed to sustain their good performance even when they didn't need to perform well, they performed well in their last match.  I see this as the main reason why Lucknow Super Giants could not play in the Qualifier round due to three consecutive defeats. However West Indian Nicholas Poran's performance was the most surprising in the match as he scored 75 runs off just 29 balls while batting at a strike rate of 258.62

It's RCB vs CSK vs Rain time! Am betting on rain to win in this mega-clash thanks to extremely high chances of rain throughout the day today. Bangalore fans are probably cursing the rain already.

They wouldn't have been in this position had they performed better in the first half of the season and won that match against KKR. Truly tough to be a RCB fan.
I think I will not go in favour of rain because at that situation RCB will officially out of the tournament which isn't fair because they way they make a comeback after long defeat run and delivered extra ordinary performance should not be allowed to runied so easily, I believe CSK get handsome amount of trophies now it's time for RCB to won at least a single trophy in 18 year journey of ipl also king kohli phenomenal performances indicate thier preparation for next critical stages so I am fully backing RCB to get the victory with full filling all requirements of qualifying for playsoff. Now let see who won the toss because from here the decision of semifinalist will decide if RCB failed to bat first and because in second scenario while ball first isn't much possible for them at current situation

More power to them and they should if they are offered good money. I am in for players, doesn't matter which league they prefer as long as they are making big bucks and securing their future. In short, they should look at their long term benefits and interests. Also, let the market decide the outcome and should drive the price up for every deserving candidate.

The question would be if Pathirana is comfortable enough to take such a big step. He was an uncapped Lankan when CSK got him and nurtured him. Finally, his stocks are up in CSK's camp so a big paycheck is coming sooner than later. The same goes for Jake, he's uncapped too.

Well.. I just gave 2 random examples. Even with current IPL salaries, I don't think that there is any chance that either Pathirana or JFM preferring any other T20 franchise league over the IPL. At this point, IPL is the most popular T20 league in the world, and that too by a distance. And for younger players, salary check is not the only concern. On the other hand, players closer to retirement (such as Pollard and Wiese) maybe tempted to try their luck with the PSL (similar to Cristiano Ronaldo getting a fat pay check from Al Nassr).

Arey aisa na bolo yaar. This encounter is poised up nicely and it's a knock out match between big dogs, even neutral will get pissed if there is another washout on the card.

~snip~

Like I said PSL running parallel to IPL, is an opportunity for every foreign unsold player in the IPL.

Well... there are 10 IPL franchises, and therefore a total of 80 foreign players can participate in the IPL. But even among them, the salaries are quite divergent. For example, if you take a look at the Chennai Super Kings, the salary range of foreign players varies from $25,000 for Matheesha Pathirana, to $1.8 million for Daryl Mitchell. PSL franchises can easily pick someone like Pathirana by offering 2x or 4x the current salary. Same is the case with Delhi Capitals. David Warner can't find a place in the starting XI, and salary for Jake Fraser-McGurk is just $63,000.

Lol, you mentioned Kieron Pollard so i am going to narrate a recent funny story.

Do you remember Ambani's son pre wedding ceremony early this year? Pollard was part of some PSL franchise and the season was on but he left the team just to attend the celebration, tells you more about the priorities of Pollard and atm he's one of the support staff of MI so it's not rocket science. I like Rassie, in the IPL unfortunately no one is interested in him anymore. Protea also sidelined him and IMO his t-20 retirement is around the corner.

As far as PSL is concerned, I don't think the same window idea would play any major part in viewership because the majority of viewers are locals and only 10-15% of viewers come from India, with hardly any eyeballs from SENA.

IMO only concern would be players' availability but again the majority of Cream international players hardly feature in the PSL but some surely do and the schedule clash won't favor big foreign players. There might be an opportunity for unsold foreign players in the IPL though. They can opt for PSL if there are no takers in the IPL.

The issue is with overseas players. Salaries are 5x-10x higher in the IPL, when compared to the PSL. So why would anyone prefer the PSL? Take a look at the star overseas players who participated in 2024. Almost all of them have a contract with an IPL franchise as well. But then there are a few who are not interested in the IPL anymore, such as Kieron Pollard, Rassie van der Dussen, David Wiese and Carlos Brathwaite. These guys may opt for the PSL, if the salary package is decent.

Very bad performance by Pakistan Women Team. Was not expecting such kind of performance from Pakistan Women team. In bowling line Pakistan was looking good and was expecting that Pakistan will win this Match because the target was not high. In total England Women team made 144 runs. And this was not a high target. And when Pakistan started their turn they perform badly and the all team got out at 79 runs. Here I appreciate Sophie Ecclestone who collected 3 wickets. So for now Pakistan has lost the series with 2-0. One match is left and I hope Pakistan Women Team will make a good comeback.
Huh! Pakistan women team. First when they were bowling so they were looking strong. And they restricted the England Women team below 150 runs. And I was thinking that Pakistan Women team will try tho their best and will win this match. But when I saw tha batting performance of Pakistan so I was thinking that they need more practice in batting line. By the way Pakistan restricted England below 150 runs but when England bowled, they restricted Pakistan below 100 runs. Excellent performance by England team. Congratulations to England wonen team for series win. Smiley

It looks like the Pakistan Super League (PSL) will undergo a complete revamp from 2026 onwards. First of all, two new franchises will be added and that will take the total number of teams to 8. A more contentious suggestion is to move the PSL window to April/May, which would directly clash with the IPL window. And this also means that overseas player availability will be severely impacted. Some of the PSL franchises are staunchly opposed to this move, but so far PCB is quite adamant regarding it.

MI vs LSG

Didn't watch match live, match up was uninteresting. Watched highlights, here is my comments.

Rohit played some good shots, the ones which he's known for, luck also played it's part. Middle order failed as usual, MI lost it's first wicket at 88 runs, 8.3 overs and 120-5, 14.1 — a proper fail.

Ishan should have opened as usual, and Dewald Brevis should have come at spot of Tim David. Didn't understand why this change was made as Ishan had done fine as an opener.

Naman Dhir once again played a finisher innings.

But, today we have RCB vs CSK, this is gonna be fun.

Pakistani W are doing good job in bowling with they were able to restricted England W on this score which was achievable but sadly their batting concerns are growing day by day with they are having no good batsmen which are able to give them any good performance in last few years we are having good development but sadly still their domestic system is fail to bring good improvement which helps them for having good results against top teams even recently their performance against the weakest sides were also not good for this all we have to blame PCB which is not doing anything for the development of this game for women in this country.

England Women won the toss and elected to bat first. Even though he was under a bit of pressure after losing one wicket to bat first. Nat Sciver-Brunt, Alice Capsey and Maia Bouchier batting responsibly for England Women's team scored 144 runs in the allotted 20 overs due to their responsible batting. Batting the target of 145 runs given by the England women's team, Pakistan women's team was under a lot of pressure after losing wickets in the beginning. Pakistan women's batting failure resulted in them being bowled out for just 79 runs which is very bad for the team. To be honest, the playing condition of Pakistan women's team is very bad because we saw Pakistan women's batting failure against West Indies. So pakistan women team should have improved their top batting against England pakistan women team bowling is pretty good but their batting line is very bad but they need to focus on batting in future otherwise they will lose even with smaller teams.

England women team is batting after wining the toss. In first T20 we saw England losing wickets in first three overs but today they are playing with caution. Aftet 17 overs England score is 110, and they have lost 5 wickets. Pakistan team must try to restrict England team from crossing 140 and if they are successful in doing that then they have a chance to win the game.
I think in this much the Pakistani ladies will come back. Because England women team seems willn't cross the 145 in this match. But still Pakistani women's have to improve their batting performance because they get all out in the previous match in only 110.

Although England women team set a small target of 145 runs, still I think England team will win this match as well. The England women's team is quite experienced. On the other hand Pakistan women's team is not strong enough. We got proof of this in the first match itself.

England Women set a target of 164 runs in the first match of the series. But Pakistan Women lost all wickets in 18.2 overs and collected only 110 runs. Pakistan team was defeated by a big margin of 53 runs. The team could not reduce the margin of defeat.

England has collected 144 runs in today's match as well. Pakistani bowlers bowled quite well today. But Pakistani batsmen don't seem to be able to do well today. England women's team is more likely to win.

The Pakistan team was so constricted by England Women's bowling that they were bowled out for just 79 runs. In this match, Pakistan women's bowling performance is not good because when England women's team started batting, they managed to score 144 runs. But reverse team Pakistan looked helpless against England Women as they lost by a wide margin according to their performance. Because the wicket could not be protected by performing up to 15 overs, and in most cases the players of the Pakistan women's team would be more likely to lose. Pakistan women team players batting line and bowling line is very weak.

I don't think so maybe Pakistani women get all out before the 100 run today ?
Oh my gosh!! Your word are became so nicely true! Pakistani women team even cross only 80 run they got all out at 79 run. An excellent performance from England women team specially the bowlers did extremely good today. But I wasn't really expected this performance from the Pakistani women team today I thought they will recover anyway England team once again proved that they will gonna win this series too.

Pakistan team is most likely to win this match today, as they have lost in past matches and have experienced how England women's team will attack them. England Women's team players will start batting in preparation, so Pakistan Women's team players should put pressure on England Women's key batsmen without a single bowling performance. Pakistan women's team players will be able to win as much as they can keep their bowling under control. So Pakistani players need to prepare and perform well from the start if they want to win.

Pakistan women's team can't even cross the 100 runs and were all out at 79. I don't think we need to keep any expectations from them when the opponent is the strongest women's side in world cricket.

We have seen a very pathetic and ordinary display of batting from the Pakistan girls and really this has made the match and even the series one sided. I was just going through the scorecard of the Pakistan batting and I found there no player who tried to stood on the batting crease and look to chase this score. Even the extras were 13 and if the England bowlers avoided these, the scorecard would have been much worse.
