I was checking the previous highest score and noticed that Gayle helped RCB score 263, but that was pipped quite easily to 2nd position thanks to Head, Abhishek, Markram and Klaasen.The highest score in the IPL, the previous highest was 263. I was stunned to see MI score 245 under such insane pressure. This just proves that the pitch is batting heaven and MI and SRH bowling has been mediocre so far this season.
What a fantastic performance from Sunrisers Hyderabad. They lost the last match against Kolkata by just a few runs. Today, revenge for losing that match came against Mumbai Indians. the only except Mayank Agarwal batted brilliantly. Expected a good performance from Klaasen, especially in the last match but it ended up falling short. But he didn't make that kind of mistake in today's match. He brilliantly perform and change the state of the match to such a stage that it is not a very easy task for any team. As far as I know there is no team in the history of IPL has more runs than today. Last saw the highest score of 263 runs in 2013. But it is not the fact that Mumbai Indians have also done badly. They also scored a good score of 246 runs. Everyone contributed well to the team.
Sunrisers Hyderabad is a team with world class batsmen and quite ordinary bowlers. They have Mayank Agarwal and Abhishek Sharma as the local players, and then Travis Head, Aiden Markram and Heinrich Klaasen as the overseas contingent. They broke several records today, but the fact that MI came so close should be a concern. Apart from Pat Cummins they don't have any good bowlers. Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Jaydev Unadkat are close to retirement and they are out of form. And ever since Rashid Khan left, they are devoid of a quality spinner.

Klassen made excellent 80 runs in just 34 balls and remained alive at the end of inning . Abhishek Sharma played well and he made 63 runs in just 23 balls , Travis head made 62 runs in just 24 balls and Markram made 42 runs in 28 balls and he also remained not out at the end of inning. Mumbai Indians tried their best to win this match but they lose the match at the end . Mumbai Indians bowlers didn't play well and that is reason of lose of match of Mumbai Indians.
What a craziest match that was man! I think more than half of the sixes and fours that have been scored in this Indian Premier League season so far have been in this match. Mumbai Indians are strong on paper. But they are not performing well ever since Hard dick Pandya was named as the captain of the squad. Fans are booing him, and even some of the players are not happy playing under his captaincy. So far they have played one match, and lost it. Today they are up against a relatively weak team and it is a good opportunity for them to get the first points for this season. BTW Surya Kumar Yadav will miss today's match as well, as he is still recovering from ankle surgery.
Yeh it's true we have seen some player like bumrah were not happy under Hardik captaincy anyway Mumbai management should think twice before done such terrible decision, I think I am not agree with your statement of calling Hyderabad a weak team because they have delivered unexpectedly quality performance in his recent and today they were more on fire and scored one of the highest target of the IPL at that season till now and especially I am really surprised with a young A.Sharma and African monster klassen performance because through thier aggressive innings they build a tough strong target but when it come to chase I taught Mumbai will lose it with huge margin but some magnificent innings from thier player help them to reach at least closed to target but unfortunately they unable to divert results in thier favour and lose his important match

LOL.. these guys never get tired or what? First it was Rohit Sharma and Ishan Kishan. Once these two got out, it was the turn of Naman Dhir and Tilak Varma. And now it is Hardik Pandya and Tim David. But even after such spectacular performances from all these players, Mumbai Indians are nowhere close to winning. The difference here is that Travis Head and Heinrich Klaasen were just unbelievable. The best of MI batsmen are still not enough to overcome the blitzkrieg from Head and Klaasen. Just two overs remain now.

I have rarely seen such a high run target in a T20 match Sunrisers Hyderabad played very excitedly setting a target of 277 runs in 20 overs is a great achievement. Mumbai Indians could not run accordingly as they scored 193 runs in 16.1 overs so far. Mumbai Indians now need 85 runs in 3.4 overs at an average of around 4 runs per ball. It is impossible to win a match with such a score. So Hyderabad win is sure today. Sunrisers Hyderabad seriously batted very well

Mumbai has no chance to win this game, even if they play good at one point, they are gonna bottle due to pressure. Each dot ball, single increases RRR significantly.
And they don't have batters left either, Tilak gone and Tim David has come, and he's not finding timing. MI requires sixes and looking for sixes they are bound to lose wickets as all other prior batters did, and there is nothing left to come.

Winning by 278 runs in the second innings is an impossible task. I had a bet on Mumbai Indians today but I don't regret losing the bet as I am happy for SRH with the way they played.
