Riyan Parag usually comes at lower down the order that's why he can't make performances in terms of stats but he always comes in handy at crucial matches and he had very good domestic tournaments this year which forced RR team management to promote to his natural batting order and expect more in stats.

Rajasthan Royals team could not collect 200 runs till the end. After losing 4 wickets at the end of 20 overs, Rajasthan Royals scored 193 runs. The Rajasthan Royals team has been able to provide a big enough target. Rajasthan Royals captain Sanju Samson was unbeaten with 82 off 52 balls. Besides, Riyan Parag scored 43 runs off 29 balls. Natarajan took three key wickets SRH failed to chase the target they only lost the game by four runs short of the target and made 204 in the completed over of the second inning. Heinrich Klaasen's 63 runs on 29 balls gave a little hope to their team but after losing that wicket they lost excellent bowling by Harshit Rana he defended thirteen runs in the last over and took 33/3 wickets in four overs KKR won this match by four just runs the brilliant start of this session.

Pakistani cricket is having history of things like these personal ego and grouping always hurt this team badly, and they bring down themselves due to things like these and PCB never been able to bring any solid policy which bring players on merit even we have good quality players for all formats, but we never have good management which can handle them and having good winning unit.
Now this new PCB setup is also working on same patron with they are clearly doing things which are not going to help this team in long run which is more important even now they have money and better sources which can bring good results and fair chance for players to develop their technique and quality which is important in current era with all teams are doing impressive progress for the better results.

You are correct take a look at Ishan Kishan he was bought at a very high rate but has been a failure in IPL. High price players are just hype creators and not good players. Indeed SRH was on the verge of wining against KKR they took some of the best catches in this season of IPL. Whereas KKR were lousy on the field and their bowling was not that good, it was Andrew Russel who took his team to this win. He batted well and he bowled also well but one cannot expect him to repeat his performance in the next game.

You are right, despite being the most expensive player of Kolkata Knight Riders, Mitchell Starc did not prove himself in the first match of Kolkata Knight Riders. The way Mitchell Starc bowled against Sunrise Hyderabad was really disappointing. Had Kolkata Knight Riders not won yesterday's match against Sunrisers Hyderabad, there would have been more questions for Mitchell Starc as to why he did not perform well. Mitchell Starc bowled four overs and got no wickets with 53 runs. Mitchell Starc should try to bowl better in the next matches so that There is no more question about him why Kolkata Knight Riders bought him for so much money and he is not performing well, he has to perform at his best in the next matches.

By the way Sunrise Hyderabad lost, they should be praised for working hard in match. Scoring 204 runs was not easy and their effort was impressive. Kolkata Knight Riders had to depend on Salt and Russell great performances to win which shows that Sunrise Hyderabad fought well. The game was close and sometimes luck does not go your way. Both teams showed good skill and sportsmanship making match exciting. Overall match was really really really exciting.
