Akeal Hosein bowled well but his team's bowlers could not dominate against the Peshawar Zalmi batsmen as a result of which Peshawar Jalmi scored 196 runs. When Gladiators came out to bat with a target of 197 runs, they couldn't do much as a result of which they lost the match by seventy-six runs.

Yes, an interesting match was played between the two teams where most people thought that Quetta Gladiators would win. Moreover, Babur Azam also gave a great batting performance and Akeal Hosein was able to win due to his excellent bowling performance. Yes you are right Peshawar Zalmi has been doing really well in the HBL PSL. They have made it to the playoffs for the ninth time in a row. This is a great accomplishment. Now they need to try their best to win the title. Babar Azam is leading the team and players like Saim and Mehran are playing really well. Peshawar Zalmi has a good chance of winning. I am looking forward to seeing how they do in the next matches against teams like Quetta Islamabad and Lahore. I think Peshawar Zalmi is in a good position and I am excited to see how they do in the tournament.

Peshawar Zalmi gave a target of 197 runs to Quetta Gladiators. PZ openers put the pressure on the Quetta bowling lineup in the first half of their innings. After the fall of Babar's wicket, Peshawar could not carry on the momentum and lost 5 wickets within the span of 3 to 4 overs. Akeal Hosein's hat trick turned the PZ batting upside down in the 16th over. Babar Azam has scored another half-century. He is in exceptional form.
Target is too big on this pitch and if Quetta wanted to chase this total down, they need Jason Roy to stay at the crease till the very end. I am expecting a thriller.

I wouldn't say that Peshawar Zalmi is in the safe zone despite giving a big target but the team still has a chance of defeat. Because the pitch is completely batting friendly. It is not too difficult to win a big target on this pitch. However, Quetta Gladiators did not play well in the last two matches. They won a trophy of PSL in 2017 but we can see that this time, they are more stronger than the old one and also come with more fans following due to the leader of Cricket Babar Azam. This time, we have seen a lot of increase in their fans and in their player's performances. Hope that they will again win the PSL trophy and get another achievement.
By the way, if any team wins the trophy it will be the team that can come in the place of Islamabad United and Quetta Gladiators means these are the two teams which had two trophies in a PSL.
