PBKS were able to score 187 runs due to the bad fielding of RR players. So many catches dropped and misfields. Chances of them getting a seat in the playoffs is still uncertain. Punjab and RR are basically playing a dead rubber match at the moment. They need a miracle to make it to the playoffs even if they win this one which is why it's a pointless match if you ask me.
RR have hope as long as Jaiswal keeps playing till the end. They started their season extremely well and messed up royally(Pun intended) towards the end.

We have seen a lot of crazy things happen in the IPL so far. But I still do not believe that KKR and/or PBKS have a chance. They have been really inconsistent in this tournament. RR certainly does have a chance. RCB will probably reach the next stage but nothing more than that. I do not believe that RCB will actually reach the finals. GT, CSK, LSG, and MI are going to go through in my opinion. I also think that the net run rate is going to be a big factor here.
I can agree with you on Royal Challengers Bangalore. They are known as eternal chokers of the IPL. They have some of the best players in T20 format such as Kohli, du Plessis and Maxwell. And they always start the tournament on a high note. But this is their 16th season, and they still haven't managed to win the trophy at least once. KKR and PBKS have disappointed so far, in part due to the lack of form from their star players. And RR has disappointed many with their poor form during the second half of this season. If they don't qualify for the playoffs, then there is a good chance that Samson may get fired as the captain. RCB is recently showing good signs with the bat. I believe they will be able to actually reach the finals if they can get the bowling part better. But it is certainly going to be easier said than done. Virat Kohli is currently in form. I believe he is better when he is not the captain. Or maybe not being a captain actually helped him because he did not have the additional pressure of captaincy. I just cannot trust RCB because they are not very consistent when it comes to the later stages of the IPL. After all, they have not been able to win even a single IPL trophy since the start.

They are definitely weaker when compared to GT and CSK, but I feel that the winner will be an underdog this time around. RCB vs LSG final would be epic.
