Right now, situation is very interesting with GT surely going to have top spot and for the remaining spot we have few teams are settled even any upset can create mess-up but with my analysis and performance of the teams clearly indicating we will have no big change in league table for the top spots with five teams are remaining in contest from this MI and RCB will be having to fight for their spot all other three are settled like GT, LSG and CSK are in for the top four and one spot is available for these two now who is going to grab this it's going to be interesting PBKS are out sides but as their performance I have no faith in them for the top four, but this is game and upsets and unpredictable results are always on cards so in my view things like these can happen in remaining event.

The word guarantee is irrelevant in the game of cricket because anything can happen in the game of cricket. You said Mumbai Indians win today will make the playoffs absolutely certain for them . you are guaranteeing them to be certain but you may have failed to match some equation here. 

Firstly, if Mumbai Indians win today's match, points will be 16 and RCB's number 5 in the points table will be 12. If RCB wins two consecutive matches, then Mumbai Indians and RCB's points will be equal, but considering the NRR, RCB will be ahead to , so RCB will have a chance to playoffs instead of Mumbai Indians.
Just winning today's match will not ensure them playoffs they have to win last 2 matches and if for some reason they fail to win 2 matches then they have to look at RCB match because if RCB loses one of the two matches then Mumbai Indians can qualify for the playoffs.

LSG vs MI today's match will be great as if Mumbai Indians can win the match then they can be guaranteed to go to the knockout stage. and LSG also has a good chance in the points table with MI at the third position and LSG at the fourth position. Mumbai Indians and Lucknow Super Giants will get only one more match, both teams have one match left. So they have a chance to advance to the knockout stage. Mumbai Indians are most likely to win today's match. If Mumbai Indians can win this match then they will have 16 points and move to the second position in the points table. And Mumbai Indians will advance to the quarter finals with their points.

SRH were already out of the top four race as they lost their five matches from firs seven mean they were not in good touch from the start of this season even they have few exciting T20i players but still things were not in their favour for this season which hurt their fans as well now they need to think about their future with remaining two matches are just formality as they have no positive sign for having anything good from here.

In last game against GT they have done good bowling but still Gill and Sudharsan give them massive punishment for the having target like 189 then GT bowlers Mohammad Shami and Mohit Sharma done the remaining work of destruction of SRH in this match just Klaasen were alone who stand for some time and then give up.

The Gujarat Titans have established their domination in the current tournament as the points table reveals and have taken the first spot. Their lead seems insurmountable even if their remaining matches have less favourable results. Even if they win their next match and the Titans lose the Chennai Super Kings would still fall short by just one point with 15 points after 13 games. Mumbai's team which has 18 points as of right now has a struggle that goes beyond winning. Within just two matches their negative net run rate offers a challenge that seems insurmountable. The playoff race becomes increasingly predictable if the remaining clubs are unable to reach 18 points. As a result Sunrisers Hyderabad and Delhi Capitals' hopes of qualifying are vanished. The Gujarat Titans' dominance of the competition is becoming more and more clear as the tournament goes on, making it impossible for their rivals to catch up.

Today's match would be extremely engaging one. Both MI & LSG need to win this match. The problem here is that only one will win. team that loses today's match might not qualify for the playoffs. This is the first time Kunal Pandya is captaining a team in IPL. If he is able to get LSG into playoffs, then it will open opportunities for him Rohit Sharma is still struggling with the bat, but his team's performance has greatly improved. Both teams are best suited against each other. think it will be a close match. Need some big-scoring game; hopefully today's will deliver it.

I just checked the points table, and found that Gujarat Titans will remain at the top even if the results for the remaining matches doesn't go their way. CSK have 15 points from 13 matches. Even if they win the next match and GT loses theirs, they will end up one point behind GT. Mumbai will be at 18 points if they win their next two matches. But then, their net run rate is in negative and it will be impossible to cover the huge gap in just two matches. And it is not possible for any of the other teams to get to 18 points. BTW, SRH and DC are out of contention for the playoffs.

Shubman Gill has been an outstanding player for GT. After his first century in IPL, this batter has proven that he can play easily in all formats of cricket. No doubt he is a great asset for the Indian team.

I only fear that fame and name don't get into his head. In the past, we have seen batters like KL Rahul struggling after getting the stardom.

Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Mohammad Shami, two great bowlers, had their best day in yesterday's match. While Bhuvi got five wickets, Shami took his 23rd wicket this season. He is now one of the contenders for the Purple Cap, competing with Rashid Khan.

Great performance by the Gujrat Titans - Sunrise hyderabad need a. lot of patience and practice

Sunrise Hyderabad started with a very poor performance. Later they scored some runs but lost by wickets and lack of overs. And they couldn't secure the knockouts and this win for Gujarat Titans put their name on the top team position. As they are at the top of the points table from the start, Shubman Gill has gained a lot of popularity in this IPL season. But the sad thing is that Sunrise Hyderabad have two more games in front of them, even if they win these two games, they will not reach the knockouts.

They could not use the last opportunity. Their game against the 188 runs was very poor. From the beginning of the match, there was such an idea that they will loss the match otherwise their performance was not convenient from the beginning of this IPL session 2023. Now they out of the playoff by losing in the last match. Although they had good opportunities but nothing to do. They will not make any impact in the upcoming matches. There are two matches left of this team one is against Royal Challengers Bangalore and another one is against Mumbai Indians.

Not a very good performance by Bangladesh team.
and in 3 match series - Sri Lanka won the series with lead of 2 matches - the series ended with  2/1

I watched the game today and one thing I thought was that with today's win, one team strongly held the number one position in the points table and another lost the chance to qualify for the playoff round. As much joy as this match is for one team, it is as much pain for the other team. But there is no point in SRH regretting today's match as they have been doing badly from the start. If they started badly and came back like Mumbai Indians in the middle of the game, then maybe SRH would have been in a good position in the points table at the moment. SRH was eliminated from the group stage after losing by 34 runs against Gujarat Titans.

SRH is out of the playoff. It have got two more matches, one against RCB and the other one against Mumbai Indians. In the 12 matches played SRH have won 4 matches. Even if the remaining two matches were won the points will reach 12 and the run rate is on the negative side. The fourth positioned LSG is having 13 points. At any circumstances SRH won't be able to reach 13 points. This confirm that the entry for the playoff is closed for SRH. Maybe it can start its preparation for the upcoming season.

And at the end of the Gujurat Titans shows that why they placed the top rank of point table in this IPL season. I was already thinking that Gujarat Titans are going to win today's match, and it has come true. But I want to give full credit to Shubman Gill for Gujarat Titans victory in today's match. He played a awesome role in this match and successfully make his century from only 58 ball and the strike rate is over 174, and by this century he done his 6th century of the year. And today he wrote his name on the top three Impactful batters today. Anyway best of luck to shubman gill for the days ahead..
And if I talk about the performance of Sunrisers Hyderabad then , The performance was comparatively worse than Gujarat Titans from the beginning as we can understand if we look at the figure of run worm and run rate.  Both their batting and bowling performances were poor today, especially with none of the batsmen performing well except Heinrich Klaasen.

I don't think that in this season Sunrisers Hyderabad will be able to qualify the playoff. Mumbau Indians are one of strong performer team in this season . Sunrisers Hyderabad have lost with Mumbai Indians before, I don't think that Sunrisers Hyderabad have the ability stand against the batsmen of Mumbai Indians. So I want to say that I have no hope for Sunrisers Hyderabad in this IPL season.

As it turned out, SRH actually managed to get closer than I originally thought they would be able to. It was only by 34 runs that they lost the match. Having said that, I also think that GT might have taken it a little easy towards the end because they already understood that they were not going to lose this match. There is still a substantial margin between the two teams. I just thought that it was going to be bigger. There is no doubt that SRH will not be able to go on to the next stage of the IPL in this season.

Even the individual performance is enough with T20 format cricket, but the score from the particular player needs to be high. With most of the matches, the score have come from 2-3 players. Maybe if others too have performed good, SRH might've been seen at a better position on the points table.

SRH have lost the match by 34 runs. One more match left against Mumbai Indians which is an important match for Mumbai Indians to qualify for the playoff. Most of the time teams that have got eliminated used to play major role in other teams move to the next round. In such way SRH could make some twist and turn, though it is out of this season's IPL.

Sunrisers Hyderabad now needs around 62 runs in 18 balls. This is an impossible task for them especially when only 2 wickets are remaining for them. Gujarat Titans will retain their first spot. Sunrisers Hyderabad may also remain at their lowest 9t position on the table.
Heinrich Klaasen scored 64 runs from 44 balls and the rest of the batsmen scored nothing at all.

This IPL may be all over for Sunrisers Hyderabad but they need to think what went wrong as they had some really good players in the team but the team never played as a unit.

SRH has already lost 7 wickets. That has also cost them to not keep up with the required run rate. Klaasen is still in the middle not out on 63. But he is not going to be able to give SRH the desired win alone. They need 18 runs per over from now on. It is absolutely impossible with having three wickets in hand. Klaasen needed to have most of the strike if SRH even wanted to get closer to the total. But it looks like his partner right now is wasting a lot of balls. That is certainly adding more pressure. I think they should understand that they are not going to win this match. The only positive to take away was the half-century from Klaasen

SRH is one among the best team, it lacks consistent performance. It was the team that scored 228 runs and chased a target of 214 runs. Same team lost against Delhi Capitals, unable to reach the target of 144 runs. The on-going match seems even bad as the team have lost 7 wickets scoring 104 runs. Klaasen have scored 51* runs and the next top scorer is the bowler Bhuvaneshwar Kumar. This performance isn't enough to reach the top position on the points table. The team players are good and they need improvement for better progress in the upcoming seasons of IPL.
