Dear Investors

We are almost there! The remodeling of the place is done. Today the technician made the changes to electrical facilities to support the coffee maker (it is 220v, the previous line was 110v) and I went to the energy company to made the changes to the contract.

Today I bought the coffee maker and the brewer and the provider is going to install it on Friday, and I also have the blender in my house.

The kitchen equipment is still in the factory, and it should be ready before Dec 22. Once I have that pieces in place I'm going to give green light to the gas installation.

I still have about 2 bitcoins and about 100 litecoins, that are about US4,300 or MX$55,900 to fund part of the missing parts.

What I still need to pay is the other half of the kitchen equipment (about MX$25,000), the refrigerated showcase (about MX$11,000), the refrigerator/fridge for the kitchen (about MX$6,000), the protection door for the place (an iron door, MX$6,000), the furniture for customers (between MX$16,000 and MX$28,000, depending on the finishing and quality), the insurance (about MX$2,500) and other expenses (about MX$30,000)

As you can see I have a missing amount of MX$50,000 to finish all the place and have it ready to work. That's the reason I'm asking you a little more investment, to be able to start in January with all finished and ready to work.

I placed a sell of 200 shares at 1.5, and that should be more than enough to finish all the work and have a good cushion for the starting months.

Marketing!

Before the opening I'm going to place posters with creative messages inviting the people to be alert and interested. I'm going to put the bitcoin/litecoin logo and the QR and web link of our page (that should be done soon).

This should cause enough interest in some people, and create expectation. Leveraging on the Bitcoin publicity, it could be helpful to us and to the bitcoin/litecoin economy in Mexico.

I have plans at the opening. First, I'm going to invite the Bitcoin Mexico community to the premiere, because it is the first of its class business in Mexico, and most of the Bitcoin users are in Mexico City, I expect to have a nice group of people there Smiley

Second, I'm going to do a flier campaign in the near places and offices, offering our products in place and with delivery service.

In the internet I'm going to list TABITA in google maps, in openmap.org and other places about bitcoin, in foursquare, facebook places and other sites.

I'm going to register on food services like superantojo.com.mx and sindelantal.mx.

I'm going to give free samples to my neighbors, and invite them to come and eat at TABITA.

That's the marketing ideas I'm going to put in practice soon, before end of the month.

I want to show you the pictures I took today!

Dear Investors

This Saturday I worked with our technical contact to find the best point of sale for the business. So far we found this system, that seems to be great for us:

http://www.elotouch.com/Products/Computers/BSeries_RevB/default.asp

http://img405.imageshack.us/img405/6417/wmsv.jpg

It is touch screen, and with the Atom processor, fan less. With second (client) monitor option we can show some information to our customers, including the QR code for bitcoin / litecoin payment. The magnetic card reader is also a good option if we can get bank support to accept card payments that way, instead of asking for a POS machine.

What we are missing is a good software that can handle all the restaurant tasks, and that also can work with various currencies, including BTC / LTC. We found some open source, some of them pretty cool, but with the BTC/LTC feature missing. May I ask you if you know a software that can do the task?

Thank you very much!

Of course! I can share with you our forecasts for a little more than 1 year.

http://img23.imageshack.us/img23/8185/tn6d.png

You may ask how can we calculate this forecast. Well, we used the school and work calendars to know when is more people working in offices near us. The more people working, the more potential customers, that is the reason that December shows a big drop in growth. The red line is percent growth, that shows the percent change in revenue from previous month. You can see that the stats begins on July and I placed the data for August and current data for September.

We are thinking that our food and bakery is going to be a very good marketing method, but we also are going to use another methods, like adding ourselves to a internet delivery service, we are still deciding which of the biggest two (superantojo.com.mx, sindelantal.mx) is the best for us. Also we are adding ourselves to foursquare, facebook places, google maps and bitcoin sites like bitcoin.travel and mercadobitcoin.com.

Another marketing campaign includes flyiers and word in mouth techniques. I think that our forecast is very conservative when looking at revenue and also we think that with this place the max revenue is capped to about MXN$ 200,000 by month (about LTC 6600 / BTC 132), but with sales like that is very plausible that we can move to another, bigger place or open branch of our business.

You can see in this chart that from July to September our sales growth is about than 100% and that is mostly because we were able to expand our capacity with your help Smiley

I hope this information is useful for you to make calculations! If you need something additional, please ask me.

Thank you!

Dear Investors

I have news for you! We have on our hands the digital scale. We tested it measuring the weight from 1 sheet of paper, a cookie and a piece of bread to 4 milk bottles.

The scale is fully digital, has internal battery and also it can be plugged to the wall. It can measure from 1 gram to 6 kilograms in the high sensitivity mode, and from 5 grams to 30 kilograms in the low sensitivity mode. Also it can "count" pieces of things like cookies. One can place a bunch of cookies and the scale can say how many cookies they are. Of course, this must be configured first placing a single cookie and a large number of cookies to help define the average weight of each cookie (or whatever one is willing to measure).

It has 1 year warranty in all parts, the seller has parts and expertise to repair it in case that is needed. Also, we also bought the mixer, but they deliver it to us maybe on Friday or on next week. The provider has the machine in its office, but they said that they need to make some test to the parts and the engine, electric measures and other things just to be sure that the machine is in perfect shape. Both machines are new.

We also looked for the cookie cutter, a fridge and a store refrigerator with transparent window to show the products to our customers. We are looking for various brands of that machines to choose the best with good price and service. At this moment the cutter has a price of about 1700 USD, the fridge is about 1500 USD and the refrigerator is about 2400 USD and we are thinking about issuing stock to buy this machines.

I explained yesterday why we need the cookie cutter (make perfect round cookies, with exactly same weight, 36 cookies in one move), I now explain why we need the fridge and refrigerator.

The fridge is a combination of refrigerator (1-5 °C) and a fridge (<-15°C). The very low temperature of the fridge is needed to store ingredients that are sensitive to temperature and that we need to buy in large quantities to reduce costs, just like meat, fish and other ingredients for pizza (we are also looking for a sushi delivery service!), the refrigerator is used to store dough, fruits, eggs and other ingredients that are made in one day and cooked in the next 1-3 days.

The front refrigerator with window is useful to show the products to our customers, protecting the products from contamination and keeping them fresh. Some products like muffins keeps fresh in refrigeration for about a week, and that can help us showing the muffins and keeping them fresh for more time.

To cover this investment we are thinking of issuing about 2500 shares at about 50 MXN each one, with a 10% of them issued at a discount price of 20% (40MXN per share).

That is going to be 250 shares at 40 MXN (about 1.2LTC) and 2250 at 50 MXN (about 1.5 LTC)
We are going to issue the shares tonight and adjust price to reflect the MXN target every week.

On other news...

We are taking a course of sushi making (and other type of Japanese food). The course covers from cooking the rice, making various types of rolls and pieces like Maki, Futomaki, Uramaki, Temaki, Onigiri, Chirashi, and others. Also the course covers making Takoyaki, Oknomiyaki, and some soups.

I already know how to make Yakimeshi, and I need to say that it is very good! Better than most places where I have ate.

We are half way of making our catalog of products, and at this moment we are calculating the nutritious fact of every product, because some places that we had visited asked that information. We hope to have it ready by end of July or earlier!

Well, now the pictures!

Dear investors

We are happy to place our monthly results here.

First of all, we successfully launched our new muffin's flavors. Chocolate, lemon, banana and pineapple. We changed the recipe of the lemon muffins to include whole grain flour, and that gave tastier and better looking results.

We changed the brand of our butter to one called Gloria. The flavor improvement was great and the cost of ingredients only grow a little.

We also launched a variation of our oat cookies, a "bit sized" cookie, with same gram content, but about 1/3 more cookies than the original one.

We are in talks with a cafeteria chain, called "La Selva", to include our products on their business. For this we asked to the designer for a brand tag for the bags, and a catalog of our products. We are waiting for this request to be completed.

We also added paper cups to our muffins, that improved the appearance and made more attractive to children. Also we made child sized muffins, and each bag contains 3 of them instead of 2 bigger ones. They were well accepted.

We changed the brand of the chocolate for the muffins, that increased the costs a little, but improved the flavor a lot. We are using "Turin" brand.

In other news...

We had our biggest bitcoin selling, 22 bags for a single order. 11 bags of cookies and 11 of chocolate muffins! That felt very well!

In the figures side...

On april we bought some big bags of ingredients and that reduced our net profit for the month, but also reduced our overall costs for this month and maybe 2 next months where we are not needing to buy that ingredients again.

Our expenses for ingredients were MXN$2412.00
Our expenses for paper cups, gas and transportation were MXN$544.32
Other expenses MXN$160.00

Total expenses were MXN$3116.32

Our income from muffins was MXN$980.00
Our income from cookies was MXN$1368.00
Our income from apples was MXN$1065.00

Total income was MXN$3413.00

Our net profit MXN$296.68

The calculated dividend is MXN$29.668. Converted to LTC it is 0.73277082.

We know the dividend is small, and we are working to improve our results to grow them. Note that at this point we are working without wages, because we are getting payments with shares instead of cash.

On the kitchen equipment...

We are going to buy this month a digital scale, a heavy weight mixer and a gas tank. That will allow us to make our products faster and easier, also will reduce the energy costs, maybe it will reduce to half the price, because currently we are buying small tanks of 20 kilograms, and with the bigger tank we are going to get smaller costs per liter, and a more accurate measurement of the charge. We suspect that the current gas provider is faking the net content of the smaller tanks, and that could increase a lot our production costs.

We are going to post here pictures of the new equipment once we have it.

Well, this is our monthly report, we are working on our company to make it a better and bigger one! Thank you so much for your confidence!

Dear Investors

Today we issued our second dividend, based on sales from March. We issued 10% of our net profit (after costs, taxes, wages and all other things) as a dividend.

On the news about the company...

We are looking for a new place, and found 2 nice options with good people transit, near our main customers and with low rent prices. We are in the process of deciding which one we are going to select. Also, thanks to the LTC appreciation we are going to be able to cover the rent for some months and buy the gas tank for energy supply.

We are extending the current shares for sale to cover the costs for the mixer/blender and a digital scale to make more precise measurements. We need this because we found a provider that gives the butter at cheaper price, but on large quantities, so we need to buy big butter bars, and measure the right quantity to make our recipies.

Our products...

Last Sunday we released 3 new muffin's flavor. Chocolate chips, Banana and Pineapple. So far, the Chocolate chips was the more accepted by public.

Also we are working on a recipie with lemon. The flavour is wounderful! but we have some problems because the acidity of the lemon causes the loss of shape of the muffins and sometimes they breaks. We are testing ingredients to counteract the problem.

What kind of margin do you make on the cookies?

May you explain better your question about the margin?

I mean, what percent profit do you get from the sale of the cookies based on the material input, resources, etc. that go into making them?

It is about 65% on cookies and 70% on muffins.

Dear Investors

We are very happy to announce that all the shares for the oven were sold!

The last price of Ł2.074 reflects the MXN$5.00 price we wanted to get.

That covers completely the cost of the oven, all the gas and electric installation, pays the cost of the credit we got to cover the cost of the oven (we asked for a loan to get it faster, but now we can pay the rest of the loan).

We also have the numbers for the last month, and they are going to be discussed at the end of March with you. We are looking for a software that allows us to do a meeting with audio and moderated chat with all of you. Maybe Skype could be useful.

After all the calculations we got a MXN$620.50 of net profit (after operation costs, payment of part of the loan, materials and other costs), that are going to be distributed as the contract says.

On other words...

We also are looking for buying a mixer/blender that supports the heavy load we are doing, that has a price of about MXN$5000.00, that is about US$450, so we are going to place a new share sell to cover that cost. We want you to preserve your share's value in Ł, so we are going to target a MXN$15.00 price per share, for a net of 334 shares. The price of Ł has been growing faster and faster! and we think that shows the strength of the currency and also helps us to get the cash we need faster Smiley

About our business

We are now offering our cookies and muffins on a medium size company (about 500 employees) that drinks coffee everyday and buys commercial cookies frequently. Our first testing people says the cookies are good, but the muffins are spectacular! We expect to spread the word on the next internal bulletin (they send one by month) and have orders twice or more times a week. That's one of the reasons that we require the mixer, because we are going to need to mix the ingredients faster if we aim to produce all the products.

We are in the process of finding a bigger place to put our kitchen and have public access. We just found one that costs about US$300 monthly, that seems to fit the size, but not the location.

Innovation?

We are testing a new muffin flavor: banana. And also a new cookie flavor: coffee (cappuccino like flavor)
The measures of every ingredient are in the proces of fine tuning. The first results on the muffin shows good flavor, but not very good texture. The cookies flavor is good, but could be better!

Thank you very much!

Thanks for the clarification Smiley

May you explain better your question about the margin?

Thanks!

We had a time improvement of 225% in the cooking phase. Previous stats said that we delay 4:30 hours for 180 cookies, today we cooked 180 cookies in 2 hours.

Math fail. A 225% time improvement would mean it took -1.25x (where x is the original time) which is absurd since nothing can take a negative amount of time to do. You should say the cooking time decreased 56%.

What kind of margin do you make on the cookies?

Yes, we are thinking about that. I think that using it as a proxy shares we can have shares on both markets Smiley

We are thinking on the btct.co stock market. Do you know another BTC stock market?

Thanks.

Pretty cool! Have you thought about listing it for BTC instead of LTC?

Dear investors

We are happy to announce that we made our first round of oat and nuts cookies today. (with the new oven)

We made 247 cookies for an order we received for tomorrow Sunday.

We had a time improvement of 225% in the cooking phase. Previous stats said that we delay 4:30 hours for 180 cookies, today we cooked 180 cookies in 2 hours.

Tomorrow we are going to cook 96 muffins for another order, that is also for tomorrow's afternoon.

We could be faster, but we are still missing trays (we only have 6 trays, for maximum speed we need 24 trays, to make the preparation of the cookies on stages), also we need a better mixer, because the one that we are using heats up with this type of orders. We are going to issue some more shares to finance the price of a new mixer and some trays.

These are some pictures of the cookies just after grouping them in a tray, once they were cooked. Tomorrow we are going to pack them and give to our customer.
