After identifying good coins that I have big interests in, and buy it for my portfolio; I will set up my sell orders for at least 50% of those bought coins.
This way, I will not have to struggle with my own feelings and emotions when price takes off, then I don't know which price to sell. People has basic greedy instinct, so without detailed plans to take profits, we usually hesitate when price hit peaks, and over-expect that it can move much higher. I learned this lesson from altcoin amazing year in 2017; then I changed my profit-taking strategy entirely.

Mine is different it's not about buying the right coin, but not selling the right coin at its all-time high, I have a good number of Kucoin and it hit an all-time high of $15 I bought Kucoin when it was only at $1 level that could be the best time to sell, but I control my self and tell myself that it could go $50 in a short period of time.

If we talk missed opportunity I think I am already a winner. Because if I am not mistaken year 2010-2011 my cousin told me about bitcoin that he already have an investment as fas as I remember bitcoin only cost $700-$800 per bitcoin. But look what happened last 2017, bullrun was happened. I that is my biggest regret in my crypto life because I missed the chance to change my life.

I feel like I'm one of the people who missed a lot of opportunities. Bitcoin was just over $200 the time I started transacting it and I never looked it as a thing to hold. I transacted in and out BTC as it was a easier form of inter country payment. It hurts to see my coinbase transaction history.
I also missed the Ripple and Ethereum rise calling them scam. Though I rode the Ethereum train late, I did made some profit from it.

I think this is a common story. How many times have I sold project coins. Not a bad plus. It's hard to grow. It all depends on the team. We can not always know the information on before. The project falls so low that it does not rise. You did not commit this transaction.

I think we all have faced this situation like you. We missed many chances to become rich. We miss the correct time to buy or sell multiple times. When the ETH price was about 10$ in 2017 I bought couple of ETH and sold at $100. But ETH hit $1000 in 2017 so If I could hold for a year, I may become rich at that time. So, I know traders have lots of stories like this which regret them. But this is not the end we can get more chances in future to use wisely.

Don't listen to those try to make you feel like its your fault for missing out, i have friends who introduced me to few projects but not a single of went well,what i meant to say is this crypto of a thing is based on luck mostly,not even how good you are at doing research,just do your best and things will be fine,don't stop trying cos your own time will come

Your story is not unique, we are all, suffer the same thing, I missed a lot of coins I cannot keep up with the number, I am investors and bounty hunters I have seen so many coins that I ignore thinking it will have no value or will just die but end up to be one of the top coin in the market.
So don't feel sorry every one of us suffer the same thing.

Whenever market looks like sh*t, as temporary one, it is good time to think of how to enrich our balance. Investors who miss opportunities to enrich their balance within the rest 4 months till the end of 2019, will extremely regret when they look back, around May of 2020. I do believe that the manipulation game of whales on altcoins have nearly finished, and we soon will witness a new season for altcoins. It is difficult to forecast how far altcoins can recover from now, but I do believe they will rally at least 40% to 50% from bottoms.

Mine was Bitconnect. Though its a ponzi and was later pulled down by the SEC but still it made many people filthy rich before then. A friend told me about it when it was around $15 worth but I shook my head and said its too expensive. If only I had known that the price will climb higher to over $100 later on

Many time we miss to buy the potential coin in the past or present because we don't have accurate analysis about what coin that can increase higher in the future. We don't believe if the underestimate coin can rise higher in 1 or 2 years later and we don't buy that coin.

But if one coin we have increased the price, we are not selling it because we want a bigger profit. That is greediness that we should prevent in trading. We don't know when the price can increase again, and it is better to sell at a high price at that time and waiting for another lower price to buy.

TRADE WITH NEGATIVE FEES

Crypto market is really unpredictable so better be alert and watch everytime its updates if you are doing day trading. I somehow just manage to sell my assets at 40% of its highest attained price and buyback at least 20% of just its lowest a better bit okay right? Well I guess theres noone here so lucky to attain the 100% highest attained pricehike so you should not be lonely instead just go on, thats life.
