Good thing I stayed away from betting the Giants, would have pissed me off in the 2nd half having money on them.

Last bet for Week 1.

Atlanta Moneyline +144

Just backing the home dog and ignoring the 3 point spread because I feel Atlanta has a good shot here to win and will take the extra money.
Was expecting more line movement but I am starting to think the sharps will beat the moneyline down closer to kickoff and are just waiting for the Philly bets.

On to Week 2...

Week One Picks:

1. Chicago +7.5 -135 (Buying this to get the hook in case its close)

This game sticks out to me the most. Bears are not getting much love due to the hype around the opposing team. Green Bay is getting a little to much respect based off last year and I am willing to bet against them early on due to a few factors. They have some major injuries that should hamper their normal play. They also have a huge rival game in week 2 vs. Seattle for revenge!
Bears on the other hand have a new coach needing to show he was the right pick to run the club. Sure he is seasoned but it releases some pressure if he picks up a win.
New system could provide a new look that could confuse early on,or it could be full of mistakes, lets be honest. But combing the Green Bay injuries, having to play on the road and a big matchup in week 2,I will take the points and back the home team.

2. Rams +4 -100

Maybe reading to much into this but the Seahawks got some issues this year and historically have played wonky on the road.
The hole on the offensive line is going to cause some issues and I expect the Rams to get at that early. Russell tend to roll out of the pocket and with a weaker proctection from the oline I expect teams to take advantage of that more than they did last year. Taking the home team on this one and will enjoy the points.

Will find some more later.

Thoughts/Picks for week one welcome...This is a open thread for Football(NFL)

Can not believe the Bears pooped the bed so hard and I still lose by a 1/2 point. Tongue
Least the Rams won which makes it 1-1 for the week. Was going to add Indy and Cincy but thought better of it.

Chewing over NYG Moneyline and MNF now..

Steelers actually came on stronger than expected, which is a good thing for us Steeler fans.
The fact Ben was missing his starting RB and 2nd WR make the game much more appealing.
Like how Williams played as starter as well, the defence needs work and some early jitter issues but this also could have been from the Pats
interference with the radios early on.
Will take that lose knowing Steelers will only be better down the stretch.
