would be really good to have some trustable users from chinese subforum who could shed light on what's going in china on a regular basis.
i saw the same problem on AsicMiner thread when a chinese interview with friedcat took quite some time until it appeared there.
unfortunately it seems to me there are rarely chinese users on the english forum, at least we get updates like this one from time to time
which recalibrate the perspective on the current situation there.

This, exactly this! Any news coming from China stays in the uncertainty limbo for a while until somebody on the west decide to look it up
Sometimes I wonder if all this China craziness is completely made up, seriously how is it possible??

Let them do what they will. Only thing that will happen is they get left out of a billion dollar market. In fact, it is so unlikely any country would willingly sabotage its own profit margins with such legislation that I find it much more likely this is all a big FUD campaign to buy bitcoins cheaply and manipulate the market. One legislation today, another in three months. Loopholes etc... The Chinese are not dumb.

There are a heck of a lot of bitcoin miners on ebay.
