1). First, they haven't classified it yet whether it is an asset, property or currency. No final classification so far.
2). They can't tax a currency that is outside of their system.
3). Fuck them!
Bitcoin was classified as cryptocurrency yet hindi pa din ito nakikilala dahil walang pang batayan o formal definition sa cryptocurrency. pero sa salitang"currency" siguro may idea na mga tao kung ano ba itong bitcoin na ito.
In Philippines context it is not even cyrpto, bsp recognize it as just "virtual currency" regardless of its architecture.
May point ka hindi pa formal na currency ang "virtual curreny" kapag hindi pa ito na iin-cash or na wiwithdraw kaya wala sila matatax sating may mga bitcoin.
