Only those users will who are active on telegram daily or those who just want to check price for one time. Because there are already many sites and apps which they can use (already using) to check the instant price of BTC plus other cryptocurrency as well. I just saw your BOT which is as simple as it looks.

I think it will be better to set a notification on the phone on Blockfolio or Delta. And set price checking of exchange where your Bitcoin is or get global average price.
Well, clicking on a bot and requesting new update would be faster and simpler when you just really need to know the current price. Delta and Blockfolio is a standalone app and their notification feature is more about medium-long term price change notification for users to decide whether they want to sell their assets or not.

The aim is good OP I admired that, I think for some reasons it is beneficial for those who has a very busy schedule and uses telegram as their mode of communication, but we also have here a wall observer thread, where you can see live updates for the price fluctuation with opinions of people. Also, you can search CMC or coinmarket cap and bookmarkt it. In this way, you cannot just see BTC, but also the other crypto that is performing very good in the market.

In my case, I look at exchange such as binance if I really want to see price change as fast as split seconds.

Those who seek instant tracking are traders and they surely doesnt hold trading amount on their own wallet (times is money, you can miss an opportunity to earn while waiting for transaction). Imho, setting a notification alarm on mobile app is way better than telegram bot.

Wouldn't it be better to make a Telegram bot rather than a channel for such a purpose? I mean, there could be written a program that tracks the changes in data and at certain intervals or when the change reaches the certain amount/percentage, inform those who use the bot about the change. But in general, I'm not sure why a person would need such a service. If one want's to see the price, it's always available on sources like coingecko. If it's for trading, Binance has a price alert app where you can set a notification when the price reaches a certain amount.

I don't actually use Telegram.

In terms of checking the price, I just look in my portfolio and I can see the price and the changes made. When my laptop is the only one accessible or easily accessible, I just click on a site I bookmarked for years now. The site is preev.com. You can also change the sources of this site if you wanted to.

While i usually see and monitor updated price in my local exchange wallet, when i saw this thread I had an urge to joined all of a sudden.
I often used and open telegram because it is already part of my life to always check any telegram messages. I can just turn on the notifications by your telegram channel so it will just popped up whenever you updated the bitcoin price.

Anyway, can you update the price every 12 hours or 6 hours? Since ive been a trader so this chart inside the telegram channel plus the bitcoin price will be a great help.

BTCBTCThere are top exchanges with apps for Android, iOS so people can easily install on their mobile. They can simply install apps to track BTC price (and other cryptocurrency of course) without requirements to log in their accounts. Binance, OKEx, Huobi, Kucoin, many apps from reliable exchanges.

If they are on computer or laptop, visit exchanges sites, bookmark trading pair of BTC to fiat they want to track price, or Trading view. All are available and Telegram channel for it is not needed.

Yes, indeed, you are right. The option with the telegram channel is an alternative for those who are more comfortable there.

Thanks for your great idea. You need more research to develop tools to see price movements, new types of technologies and a ROBOT for such automatic updates will be more convenient. You can connect to charts, market analysis and a number of OTC channels for users to easily buy Bitcoin

Nice project mate.

For me, I still prefer coindesk for checking the BTC price, there's also a CMC app in smartphones where you can check the price of BTC in real-time.
My telegram is muted, I disabled the notifications because I'm part of a lot of community not just only about cryptocurrency but in other things too so I wouldn't be notified on that channel.

But I guess for some that use telegram daily, this channel you made will be very useful to them.

Aside from tracking the price of BTC, I think it would be also ideal if someone could use crypto tracking apps like Blockfolio or Delta to get really updated on top cryptocurrencies.

They are both very convenient to use and have a lot of features that cannot be normally found in a Telegram tracking channel. Imho.

Thanks for the information but, why will I need to go to a telegram channel in order to check the Bitcoin price from Binance?

I only need to download Binance mobile app login once and that's it. Now on one click I can check not only Bitcoin price but all other major cryptocurrencies live in just one click.

Yes you are right. I just assume that the telegram channel will be more convenient for someone (for example, if I do not have a binance application)

Just an honest review though.

People can use market coverage sites in order to track the real time update of bitcoin price within just few clicks and without consuming storage space on their device  Cheesy. Alternatively, downloading an application like blockfolio can also monitor the real time price update on a specific exchange as well. So, I don't think that a telegram bot is necessary unless there is a special function where other services doesn't offer.

Hey, I am just explaining my side about your project  Wink. It's still a good practice for learning stuff about the use of API and the likes.

in my opinion this is the easiest and fastest way to track the btc rate. I don't want to install separate apps / widgets on my smartphone.
This is just my opinion. Perhaps it will be useful to someone.

Thank you for the channel you linked here for us, however to be honest, you can always check the price with a few simple clicks or widgets on your phone. Which is much easier to use than a telegram channel. Also, since people usually avoid joining new channels for the security stuff. They will usually prefer using a simple a telegram bot for that purpose.
