IMO miners are doing a great job. Bitcoin is able to take more authoritative place in the world of currency system by itself with time, but it should be mined in the first place. Also if we talk more to other people about Bitcoin and its advantages it might help too.

Maybe we should participate briefed everyone about bitcoin , so that bitcoin is known by many people. even if they do not know about the technology . because basically bitcoin works similarly to commodities such as gold , when the currency or the economy struggling mendertita in a recession , the value of BTC will increase because it serves to be an alternative store of value. In 5 years , I think and I see the prospect of BTC could potentially be the equivalent of gold and it i very beneficial for us in term investing long.

I predict that bitcoin will be accepted worldwide. More users are going to popout and bitcoin will be accepted by small stores or coffee shops. Bitcoin price will also climb up 100x to the current price that we have today then it will stabilize like fiat currency. It will be a legal tender in the future and the governments will support it with regulations and policies to avoid nefarious activities.

The greatest threat to bitcoin right now is the program of the NSA. And that is the creation of quantum computers that has the ability to trace encryption at the same time it has the capability to make millions of computations in one moment compared to a normal computer that solves computation one per single moment. I have a similiar vision as yours but im not expecting a huge jump on the price, atleast not before merchants and countries allow bitcoin. At end of the year i believe bitcoin will go to 800 dollars and should stand there, mooving a bit up and down near that value.

i will show you mine bitcoin/usd prediction here:
I expect bitcoin to be pretty stable for the rest of this month,i dont think we may see some big price movements.
However i think that we will have 1000$ crossed in december,but it will surely (price) get back to some lower level,like 900$ or maybe 850 USD.
I also expect 2000$ in something like 2020,but not earlier probably,it is really hard to double the value of anything,especially any asset.

There is a big chance that price do really increase than the current value we have. But if you are saying greater than we should expect like really big, that's not possible and for that to achieve we will be having more time and exposure.
