What do you mean by that?

Do you want to say that they will accept Bitcoin as it is, and, for example, allow folks to open bank accounts in bitcoins or pay taxes with it? Or do you mean that they will just adopt the blockchain technology for their own, most likely nefarious ends? If you mean the latter, then why didn't they adopt the technology long ago since Bitcoin has been around for ages already, figuratively speaking? If they were really interested in it, I suspect they would have been using it already in some way given their resources and capabilities. But there's nothing yet as far as I can see

I am pretty sure that in some years most of the people will know about the bitcoin. The reason is not that I believe the user base of bitcoiners will be increased so quickly, where all over the world will speaking about bitcoin but because of banks. Banks of UK,China and Russia are experimenting in a form of blockchain because they want to create their digital coins. Therefore other (banks) will follow. People will learn for digital coins so they will learn about bitcoin. I don't know if will dominate among the other currencies because banks and governments will fight against it. But for sure has take its place besides the gold as a scarce commodity.

I don't believe that bitcoin will shoutout whole world because many cashless option right now are appearing that can be more trusted.. bitcoin is really anonymous the only benefits we are getting are the price increase..
But it is still not safe because of you send bitcoin in 1 address you will never charge back or start a case if you scammed..

Chances are there that bitcoin can be used as money but it will take some time to adopt this technology. Now a days most of big companies are keep accepting bitcoin technology. Technology makes bitcoin more popular in present situation, most of countries showing lot of interests towards bitcoin but to get legal it will take some time.

30% of the world means about 10 to 20 years from now, it won't happen overnight. With the rapid growth of technology, I am sure that there is something that will come out and probably compete with bitcoin. What I am sure of is that price of bitcoin will keep on increasing.

When it comes to people knowing bitcoin, I think we are still few, and same as the users, so probably that growth ( 30%) as you've said might be too far from now to happen.

Yes it will surely happen in future as bitcoin is becoming popular day by day and we are also witnessing increase in user base of bitcoin and if that continues then it will take price to higher level in future.

let us all wait for the price to reach 1k$ before the end of this year i think it is really possbile we just needed to wait and see the rally of the price of btc.

I think it may take months for the price to reach 1k, but the results obtained so far can already be considered good results.

This year the price of bitcoin had positive changes, and if we compare the current value with the value at the beginning of the year, the difference is really significant. But I believe that more positive changes may come before the end of this year, I would say 680 USD would be a reasonable value.

I'm alright with waiting mate, if it will not happen in a month then it's fine but I am very optimistic this year we can make another history. We have step up to the level of $1,000 this year and it's not easy anymore to go back to that level, just a little push and we shall be there again. Not even gonna limit the possibility that we can make history this year.

That is pretty possible to come true. But I think that people mostly will use mBTC in future than bitcoin. After the next halving the number of bitcoin is going to be catted again and the price will go even higher, so mBTC is really possible future to all of us.

Bitcoin is already a successful technology and no one can deny that. Though i also wish for it to become legal for all countries but i doubt that might not happen because there are countries where governments wont let that happens because they don't want to lose control over their economy.

i agree with you that all countries will be adopt bitcoin in their banks in the near future because bitcoin is already using for online shopping in anywhere and we can use our bitcoin as globally for online shopping and i hope that bitcoin will be use as regular currency in the future.

Here are my preditctions for the Bitcoin exchange rate (versus the USD):

2017 end - $2,500
2020 - $10,000
2025 - $25,000

IMO, Bitcoin has bottomed out after the recent spike and the crash which followed it. Now it is not going to go below the $750 mark. Within a few weeks, it will restart its slow upward journey to $1,000, which I expect to reach in 2-3 months. Then the prices will surge, with every significant news about Bitcoin. If the Winkelwii ETF get listed in the NASDAQ, that alone can spike the exchange rates by some 30% to 50%.

Its still possible to happen .. that is why the price of bitcoin is high because almost illegal activities are invested in bitcoin because of anonymity they are use it for illegal activity..

Russia has made some moves so as not to consider the use of bitcoin a criminal activity. But before they used to ban bitcoins and consider the use of it as illegal and against the law. China has legalized bitcoin and considered it as a property that anybody has a right to own. India they also term bitcoin as a property and that they will put a tax on owning bitcoin. The philippines though there are no law saying that bitcoin is considered officially legal but they allowing companies that does bitcoin related business in the country. This are some signs that bitcoin is starting to be accepted worldwide.
