I do not think we have one good reason why Satoshi should come back because that will be up to him. We can ask him to come back here, but we cannot force him to back here if he does not want to do that. Meanwhile, we do not know who he is and where he lived and we only ask from here. Let us let him do whatever he wants while we can focus on what we did. He will come back if he wants and until that time, we do not have to bother him and can only say thanks to him.
The good reason that many people mentioned is probably just being curious about someone who has such genius creative skills, it's like Satoshi's mystery makes people wonder about his appearance but as you say, Satoshi doesn't want to be bothered and there may be many obstacles in the background between the government and the mysterious groups. Without further hinting about Satoshi's whereabouts and identity is our great expression of gratitude, causing trouble and making the relationship not harmonious can most likely cause him to come up with crazy ways of handling

I believe that Satoshi has always been around using a different Pseudonym or even his real name and is perhaps a public person. We just won't find out who exactly is behind the pseudonym Satoshi Nakamoto. He could be literally anyone in the crypto space. What are the odds that someone who develops the code for Bitcoin then completely stops participating in the digital revolution he or she initiated? Isn't it more likely that he also contributes to code bases for anonymous coins and other stuff he understands well when it comes to cryptocurrencies? I think the only realistic scenario where we could assume that Satoshi completely quit is when he or she was already very old. If that is not the case, I can't imagine how someone in his 40s or even 50s launches Bitcoin and says goodbye.

It is possible, that Satoshi is/are reading all these bitcointalk contributions ... and although some pepole want him/her/them to come back, nothing happened.
Possible if he/she, they are still alive.

I don't know if there's a need for him to come back and surprise us. What he has done is more than enough already. Well, if he comes back and sees the project that he started is already big, he'd surely be proud of it.

I am not seeing any reason why Satoshi should come back if you mean Him or Her making His or Her identity known publicly. He can still remain anonymous and improve anything that is necessary.

I don't believe you mean technical improvement, but you probably imagine that some kind of massive pump would happen then. I believe the exact opposite would happen, as most media would focus on the alleged 1+ million BTC mined by Satoshi and the possibility of him dumping them on the market. If Satoshi is alive, he knows very well that it is best to remain anonymous not only for the reason already stated, but also for his own safety.

According to the above, I do not find any good reason why Satoshi should return.

Nothing is impossible actually , The creator/s is/are human/s so if there is something they wanna do that is to observe and protect the interest of their creation.

There is none that can demand or push satohi to come to the open again.

I can't think any reason which is logical and important enough for Satoshi to consider coming back to the scene. There are some obviously selfish reasons like we need a figurehead or something for bitcoin but that kinda defeats the ethos of the cryptocurrency.  Anyways, even if we think of that perfect reason for him to come back, I don't think he'll ever want to again. There's just too much that happened already and this is what he really wanted anyways: for bitcoin to grow without him and not really depending on one central figure.

Good reason?
You had mentioned about improvement in Bitcoin but do you really think that it would really be worth on showing up himself for the sake of that?
Bitcoin is already good and enough in terms of functionality and its overall benefits in terms of p2p payment system and the demand itself
is the proof of that and theres no need for him to show up.

What for? Yes, its really good to see the creator of the thing that we are supporting as of this moment but he do still have the final choice and we dont even know if this man is still alive or had just decided to be anonymous on final.

I don't see any reason for him to come back. It would do more bad than good imo. It would hurt the decentralized image of bitcoin. Look at ETH for example. Most people see ETH as a company with a CEO (Vitalik). When you ask people the current owner of bitcoin, they can't answer. Everybody knows that Vitalik manages ETH though.
Yes, Buterin runs ETH with other co-founders. This allows you to quickly make decisions, and find a way out of difficult situations and be updated in a timely manner. However, there is no close-knit team behind Bitcoin; consensus is rarely reached on any issues. Therefore, complete decentralization gains in some way and loses in some way.
In this situation, Satoshi Nakamoto is hardly worth publishing himself. In the absence of a creator, no one can apply for a patent on the invention of bitcoin and it remains completely decentralized.

I think I missed him, i would love the sense of how he communicates, I would love to take his word and Idea. This will do a lot in my life and I'll be proud in a place like this with such a noble man. His contribution here is enough for him to be back here.

good reason = improvement of Bitcoin
Improvement of Bitcoin source code is one of good reasons, I agree.

However, it does not mean satoshi has to appear in public in order to contribute to Bitcoin source code. satoshi can make such contribution in a shadow and it's thanks to a real decentralization of Bitcoin, isn't it?

satoshi decided to leave our community but he did realize that there are different ways to contribute to Bitcoin.

Sum up, no good reasons to appear again in public.

What if he is actually contributing to the bitcoin core because we just don't know who he actually is.
And what if there are better coders than Satoshi at present who are contributing to the bitcoin core already.

To be honest, I don't want the identity of Satoshi to be revealed because I think his anonymity is a big reason why people believe in bitcoin.

Satoshi will be sought by state intelligence to delete his creation

Delete it how?  We've all got copies of the code.  There's no undoing this.  It can't be un-invented.  Not even satoshi can stop it.

If Satoshi Nakamoto returns, it will be a nightmare for bitcoin, Satoshi will be sought by state intelligence to delete his creation, because Satoshi's creation damages state finances around the world because Satoshi's creation is not protected by international law.
I don't agree if Satoshi comes back let it be mysterious forever

As long he isn't necessarily interested in receiving the Noble Prize, there is really no incentive to reveal the identity behind the pseudonym Satoshi. I don't even care who he is. The one thing I would like to know is whether Satoshi's coins will ever be moved in the future.

Does the Nobel Prizen even have to be sort of "claimed"? I've seen a lot of times people on Twitter saying that Satoshi should win the Nobel Peace Prize; so I just assumed it can be awarded to dead/missing/anonymous people.

Besides Satoshi coming back simply to contribute to the Bitcoin Core software, then I can't really think of anything else. The downsides simply heavily outweighs the upsides especially concerning his/her/their personal security/privacy.

And if Satoshi would come back to contribute, he/she/they should definitely do it under a different pseudonym. (assuming Satoshi isn't actually actively contributing today under a different name.)

Satoshi is not easily come back here or show to the public because he already left this forum and decided to do another thing. He can come back here without telling us that he is the real Satoshi and maybe he is already online here but we do not know for sure. He has his choice to come back or still hide somewhere so no matter what happens to this forum, he can still hide. But I am not sure if something bad happens to bitcoin or blockchain, he can come back to fix everything. But that is just speculation.

Help the developers to make developments and upgrades into Bitcoin.

I think this is already a good reason why Satoshi should come back but we already know that this will not happen..... or it is happening already but in silence. Either way, helping the developers to upgrade Bitcoin would be the best reason why Satoshi should come back. On the other hand though, I don't think that Satoshi shouldn't come back anymore because there might be a possibility that he/she/they might trace his/her/their whereabouts and it might also cause Satoshi's anonymity to disappear so I think its better if Satoshi shouldn't come back anymore. Anyway, Bitcoin is in good hands already Smiley.

There is no reason for him to come back. Bitcoin is a decentralized currency. If he comes back, people are going to consider him as a central figure of bitcoin. Anything he does or says will have a huge influence in the bitcoin market. And lets not forget about the FUDs that are going to be spreading when he comes back. I am sure some people will start panic selling because they will think Satoshi might sell his coins. Bitcoin has been developing well for decades without Satoshi. Other than knowing who the creator is, I doubt anything good or new will happen when Satoshi returns.
