Meetings with the Angullia government and premier of Angullia is showing how temtum is the leader in being the chosen cryptocurrency architecture for a country’s aim to deploy their own digital currency !

https://twitter.com/wearetemtum/status/1235231478893727746

I think this is just a plan to promote this coin because in order to become a national currency, a lot of people need to accept it and this coin usually cannot be stable for a long time. In my opinion, the success rate will be very low because this is just a normal coin and until now, no one has considered altcoin as a national currency so this will never happen.

If Tentum is made into national money in Angullia, coins must also be stable and should not change drastically when bearish comes, but is it possible that the public will accept this digital unag?
I know that Temtum is a good project that continues to grow with Richard but to make national money it also takes time for the whole Angullia community to accept it.

this is good news for this coin. The project itself is developing very well, but I do not understand why they do not go to large exchanges. they are still trading on coinall and that’s it. they do not submit applications for listings on large exchanges and the exchanges themselves also do not plan to lists them to their exchanges. strange situation. usually, such good projects immediately listing on large exchanges and increase their popularity. I think that the project should go at least to Kucoin in order to inspire confidence among investors

Also listed on liquid too

We have an exchange strategy- right now many listings is not a priority

Lol, for some obscure backwater country that is struggling with crippling debt? Not impressive at all.

Pretty sure that Venezuela also has plans to use the Petro as a national currency at some point, to replace the failing Bolivar.

In any case, TemTum is absolute trash compared to more capable cryptocurrencies, and you're just trying to drum up hype for something we all know has no chance of actually happening.

TemTum = steaming pile of sh*t

Haha name one of project that is technically capable as temtum - fully deployed on a mainnet and third party validated

The tem token and blockchain will be used ! - this is not like ripple !

In the mou / contract you’ll be able to explicitly see this requirement

We have been in talks with the country regulators and they are fully behind this project and Richards vision

For those  that says it will never happen - it is being developed now will a plan launch mid may !

Was not Petro the first crypto to be used as national currency? it was founded 2 years ago in Venezuela.
And we need more information about this news,
Is not it too hasty to announce Temtum as another crypto to be used as a national currency if we do not see a real thing or partnership from both sides? a photo can not be used as a proof of partnership.
Usually, there should be an MOU or legalization certificate from the country. Meeting with someone else is not that hard, saw a few people did that before.
this is still a mystery, is there really a country that launches their own crypto? first we start from petro venezuela. I tried to look for it in various large exchangers but could not find it. it's on the coinmarket cap called petro dollar (xpd) but I don't think it's petro venezuela because the logo is different. or maybe they launch their own coins on their own market exchange? which means it is a personal need, not for public consumption? we must still wait for clearer news, also for the temtum coins from this anguilla.

Angullia as a nation do not have to promote any coin by making it their national currency, if the news is true to its words, then the government I think has decided to make their own currency and that's very much possible, it would be used within and only in Angullia I think, so that's enough promotion for the coin imo.

I don't know how this will favor a small country like Angullia and if this is an astute move for their economy, digital currency being used with their fiat currency could open doors for economic growth for the nation maybe.

Just some kind of bullshit of " Wow, finally real crypto will used in daily life ", but the fact remains, it's just bla bla bla talk & nothing is gonna happen.
The world wide financial system won't let crypto replace fiat (AKA the Dollar). This is the fact people should realize by now.

I'm not satisfied with this admin of TEMTUM but I will support this project. I don't think this news is very big to TEMTUM project what they will do with augullia government. TEMTUM will show how enable this coin for own digital currency even though this announcement isn't so exciting

Despite of the other questions that I have on my mind, I'd like to congratulate you then. But I hope that you will also educate them that they have to have bitcoin in the first place.
Are they actually going to use Temtum or the network/blockchain you offer to make their own cryptocurrency?

Petro is not a widely used crypto - it’s questionable if it’s even a cryptocurrency

An announcement will occur in the coming week from both sides along with the mou / contract to be published on our website

I think this thread would have been more interesting if the full details of this agreement of both parties involved is announced, although i have already read a tiny bit of this information on the official telegram,
And I know Richard is meeting up with Angullia representatives to further discuss this, I hope it will be a positive news we will be hearing from the team,
I saw the price spike of tem few days back to $0.32 before correction,
I think exciting days ahead for tem, this news can very well be the breakthrough tem need.

Good news for temtum community if this will continue to increase until the middle of the year. We will see the effect of the demand once this hits the biggest value, traders and holders will begun to have their moves when there's a signs of increase of each tem price. This attracts more buyers and potential holders to have this coins as their trusted asset.

Actually it makes sense for a super-small country like Angullia. For a country of 91 square Kilometers and with only 15k population, having a fiat currency is not the most economical choice! Rather, having a cryptocurrency running on a blockchain which can be carried on a mobile phone, makes more sense and looks more realistic. It is more like a testing ground for national cryptocurrencies for bigger countries. All the best!

Yes, it is! a small country is a good testing ground as it is easy to see how it will perform among its citizens. once proven successful, they can implement it to bigger countries as they can use the same business model. they will know what bottlenecks and hindrances from their guinea pig. So they can address those possible issues before going big. Nice move from Temtum and Anguilla.

unfortunately their discription still unclear, they just create hype to market again to attract traders or investors buying temtum. to be national currency was not easy, moreover the developers team come from outside anguilla. they will need more political step that must discuss with another stakeholder. but atleast we must appriciate with this progress, they make one step ahead.
