I have a bunch of TRC in my backup folder, along with Coinye
and AndroidsToken and Devcoin and Mincoin and a bunch of
others. I guess this "rebirth" is exactly why I saved the wallets to
begin with. I'm glad you posted about this, I hadn't heard the
new news coming on about TRC, I'll have to dust off the wallet
and see what's going on.

- Financing for Development
After the idea is there. Clockuniverse seems to be a serious developer and attentive to the community. I also find that the project has a capital with its history and its unique name!

This coin has been around for ages and used to sell for absolutely nothing a year ago.. If you have some, hold onto them. I wasn't aware of the Masternodes. Any idea of how many are going to be needed? It's great they're bringing this project back from the dead.
Looks like their team reduced the mn collateral requirement to 5,000TRC.

An old school coin . . . solid . . . now implementing MN's? I see only good can come from this. Might be picking some up.

Just because a blockchain is old doesn't mean it's dead. In fact you can't actually kill it. The markets for the coin are fine. With enough interest in it I'm sure it will be added to bittrex or re-added to btce.
I think it's cool that such an old blockchain is being revived and receiving very important updates. TRC was the first coin to "die" by the first ASICs. It had a relatively high price, was attacked by ASICs, then sat in the basement of the crypto world for years until clockuniverse decided to breathe life back in to it.
At this point I see no downside to investing a little bit and watching the new updates take off.
