His millions of followers may still worship him, but I don't think that anyone in the cryptocurrency sector takes him seriously anymore. He had his chance to earn the respect from tens of millions of cryptocurrency users and we thought that he was different from the other billionaires like Buffet and Gates. But in the end he turned out to be even worse than them. If he wanted to opposed BTC, then he could have done that from the beginning. I felt like it was a stab from behind, when he initially spoke good about Bitcoin and then reversed his stance in a few days saying that the energy consumption is too high.

The damage to his reputation is done, quite honestly unless he can sign an address containing all his coins I am not going to believe he is holding any coins because his actions do not make sense otherwise, he sold that 10% to see if he could do it without crashing the market, once he knew this was the case he sold his stash and then bought again after he created a lot of FUD and the price went down, so I do not real care if Tesla is accepting bitcoin or not, he manipulated the market and made it crash so many people will make an effort to avoid his products in the future.
Who cares whether Elon Musk really owns anything, you do not care and even i do not care but anyone following him which is millions of users are his strength and so is the reason he is able to manipulate the market easily and may be in the future there will be a theory popping up calling him the Satoshi by his blind fans who jump into anything he says or tweets and swing the market is both directions

Regarding the FUD from Elon, i think it was for DOGECOIN only. We know he tweeted lot of that to pump the price.
While it different with BTC, for first Elon revealed Tesla have been invested in bitcoin for $1.5 billion, sold 10% of it to prove its really liquid. Then he realized about the usage energy of bitcoin too high which he think not too good for environment, so he decided to stop accept bitcoin payment on Tesla. And now, after many people convinced him about the usage energy has been dropped, he would see it by himself and said TESLA would be accepting bitcoin again later, which i think it won't take long time anymore

Elon's manipulation will have a little impact, this news that does not pump the market, the biggest news now is the rumors that Amazon will accept bitcoin, and it's a real hype because bitcoin has increased 12% today as of this writing per CMC. If the pump will continue, it will create a big hype and it will help the altcoins to recover again, remember that bitcoin hit $60k and had dropped 50% this month.

Investors become Elon Musk because of his so many tweets and announcement against Bitcoin, he wants to win back the community and their support by announcing that his company will re-accept Bitcoin and he also announces that he still has Bitcoin, this is the reason why Bitcoin is moving up again, if this is the road another pump and an all-time high, we really can't tell, we are still 6 months to go before the end of the year.
No one can tell if it's just another hypes that will turned to a much deeper dumped.
Dead bounce is also possible as there are big holders who got trapped from that last time high and the moment that they see
the market start to recover they just simply take the opportunity to break even or cut some losses if they can't wait for full recovery.

TESLA announced they invested $1.5 billion in BTCitcoin and then they announced selling 10% of its BTCitcoin holdings and made $101 million profit which sent the market down and for a while he was trolling the entire market and then pulled the support citing massive energy usage and those had an impact in the market and now he is again bullish and vocal about his investment Ready for pump anyone? This man's influence is dead pretty much. Even braindead investors would notice how his tweets closely manipulated the market and, not to mention, his exit with his "excuse" was pretty stupid. Maybe dead is a bit of heavy work, but it definitely has weakened. Positive effects would still come, but not as much as when they first announced that Tesla accepted Bitcoin. This is a comeback after a few weeks (or months? I forgot) of them not accepting Bitcoin, it's influence is quite different so to speak.

The signs are here but we need to be careful on buying when price starts to goes up, it could be temporary for now since the news about Tesla would be in hype. Just accumulate by percentage not the entire capital you got, just set by average when your purchase for additional holdings. Earning profit at huge quantities should be according to our projections, and if ever there's a huge spikes then you're luckily earning higher compared from your expectations.

The FUD and anything about manipulation will forever be associated with Elon no matter what coin he or the company will accept.
He's one of the reasons why the bitcoin's price momentum got crash during the peak although everyone benefited from it as others got a chance to bought at fairly a much cheaper price.
I don't think that more investors will react to that and a possible pump will happen once Tesla will re-accept Bitcoin. It's just another news in the crypto market.

I don't think that I would consider myself ready, I feel like I don't have enough bitcoin yet that I can sell when the next pump where to ever happen. Also, I don't think that we would see a big pump given how we are seeing Elon as an antagonist in this market with his past manipulation.

Last night, when in "The BTC word" between jack, Elon and Ark, Elon has said TESLA will re-accept bitcoin once he confirms by himself about it.
Elon also revealed some of his crypto investment, he invested in Bitcoin, Ethereum and Dogecoin.
While TESLA has announced they have invested $1.5 billion in bitcoin back then, price was skyrocket after that. And now we knows, even SpaceX and Elon himself have bought/invested in Bitcoin too.

As Elon Musk promoted his reliable projects, everything is always possible with bitcoin and I guess everybody is ready for next pumps. Tesla had been stating more strong words against bitcoin lately, but the story was turned in reverse then eventually we're hearing good feedbacks from them.
Let's stay tuned for more upcoming news, and hopefully that confirmation won't be revoked someday and continues to prosper.

Did you watch his talk in the B-Word with Jack Dorsey? I believe he expressed his real viewpoint about Bitcoin, and it was OK for me. He has the same viewpoint like many of us in the community.
Well at the beginning he also wasn't trolling or spreading FUD. He seemed like a true believer then he started spreading FUD. And we know he has no issue with PoW or energy consumption otherwise he would have never bashed bitcoin while supporting its copy dogecoin.
I believe he’s also walking his own journey like everyone who has invested in cryptocurrencies. Many started with “finding the better Bitcoin”, until it was truly understood how it worked, why, and what’s keeping the whole network together. Elon Musk has not reached that point.

It is finally a relief to know that dude invests his own money into these things, however we have no idea how much he invested, like for example if he invested a billion dollars into doge? Or was it 1000 dollars which is nothing to him? We really don't know.
Renewable energy is a mute point in crypto mining because we just use the energy we are not the ones that creates it, it is not like I go buy a coal mine and then attach a bitcoin mining rig to it, I just get electricity from whoever gives me, in this sense Elon expects people to buy solar panels and whatever to make more profit with it themselves? And use renewable energy from their own capitals? I really don't think so. Go convince the energy companies to make their own solar panel farms and then we can get it from them, I am not really in charge of where it comes from, only what I can do with it.

Nobody gives a crap about Elon Musk and Tesla anymore. He has lost all his credibility, bitcoin price didn't move at all despite some people trying to hype things up over the past 12 hours; the shitcoins he advertises are also no longer showing any reaction to his pump attempts.
Probably people on this forum don't take his statements in consideration when investing in crypto currency, but I fear many speculators do, otherwise bitcoin price wouldn't pump right after this Musk's participation. I don't see any other reason to justify that fluctuation besides his statements during the program. I think his influence over crypto universe is really worrying, especially over bitcoin. Too little too late, I can assure you he has missed his chance, he had a chance to replace in the mind of the people that ask stuff like when lambos? With when teslas?
