Bruh this actually epic Grin. never crossed my mind an idea like this. wedding rings in virtual form and permanent contract on the blockchain system. both have a very digital vision. maybe both are crypto experts. very unique. prove that NFT  implemented to something like this is possible.

I think this is too general. What I understand from this post is that Cryptocurrencies can help people change lives. One of them is the matter of marriage (cost).
And there's a lot more to this going on, not just marriage.

This looks like blockchain meme I doubt if it really existed but it looks appealing and fun to use tokens as virtual rings some might likely adopt it some day it's worth considering. Different tokens are emanating by the second each for different project I wouldn't be surprised if a marriage token is developed  to help raise a good future for married couple over the years. We gradually coming into a very high technological era and so many advancements are trooping in.

This idea is pretty cool. When I first saw it, I didn't understand how the blockchain got married. Young people nowadays pursue various styles, especially on some important days. Maybe these are some new ideas of young people. I guess they are also users of the crypto market. Their ideas are very innovative. I wish you happiness.

Bitcoin Marriage = only accepting gifts from your guests in the form of BTC.

NFT Marriage = the same as wedding photographs, as time passes you look
at them less and less.

Blockchain Marriage = public digital record of the event, that has its use and would
probably give all other ALT's a viable competitor.

I'll take the Bitcoin Marriage thanks.

I mean, not what I expected the Blockchain to be used for, but the principle behind it is a decent one. This effectively prevents any tampering to the contract you, and the opposite entity has proposed. So, there can't be any arguments if the original contract is lost. So, the Blockchain is actually a really good idea to be used for recording contracts. Although, the issue with that is contracts usually do contain quite a bit of sensitive data, but if you can remove that from the contract itself, its probably one of the best ways of proving a contract hasn't been tampered with.

So, while a wedding wasn't the way I would have expected for this to be demonstrated, the fundamentals behind it i.e the contract works pretty well with the Blockchain.

Now this is really something unusual and the first time that I heard of its kind. Blockchain is really touching different aspect of humanity, even marriage now, which is great to hear. If this will be featured in different social media platforms, blockchain and crypto in general, this could get its name on the light of attention again.
this is a first in the world and will probably become a wedding trend in the future. Blockchain has attracted the attention of many people and will definitely be increasingly adopted in various aspects of life in the future.

Good for them, but why... lol. They probably wanted to do something different, but I hope they exchanged real rings too. The NFT thing is totally crazy. I still don't get it.
Lol unbelievable even in marriage blockchain has a usecase I never imagined this before If this is real then no doubt the usecase of blockhain will be massive in the near future it will continue to evolve in many areas like this one new and unique use of blockchain with nft awesome.
Exchanging rings on the chain and NFTs would be the shittiest use case and will just cause trouble like others said.
With pictures like this, I'm a little hesitant to believe it or not because there is no clear source where and when. at least you clarify this at least with a clear link from where this source is.
because things like this if not accompanied by a valid source will be very doubtful and even I myself have doubts about the picture.
even if this is true i can only laugh and what response i need to feel with that which is definitely very unique
Highly likely fake as fuck. Even if its true, they are probably just seeking some attention.

at least they saved a lot of money on the physical rings by doing this. and i bet they used that money to keep filling the crypto bags : P

Marriage is the ultimate symbol of commitment and the foundation of your love to your partner. Your ceremony is where you and your partner declare your vows, and dreams together. Couples look forward to their wedding day and do their best to make it a memorable one. This couple however chose to share their cherished moment in their lives on the blockchain.

I guess the marriage contract was stored on Blockchain and not like they really married on Blockchain? Unless you mean they made a marriage vow using smart contract or something.
Well, as long as they understand the contract term before accepting it and there should family members or people close to them who witnessed the signing of the marriage contract. To be on safe side, parents should approve of the marriage... if they have no good reason not to allow them marry, then they can marry.

It's unique - never seen a wedding dowry before, paid in Bitcoin that's the advantage - Bitcoin - I rate it a Crypto couple - Bitcoin user wife - Bitcoin user husband - perfect match.

This is an example for today's men and women-Bitcoin can be used as a dowry instead of gold as a wedding dowry.
I wonder how much the woman's dowry is in Bitcoin.

well this marriage didn't really have anything to do with bitcoin right?  This is one area where I believe NFTs can really shine.  Sure I like NFT art work, or baseball cards or basketball cards like NBA Top Shot, but more practical uses/needs are out there, such as marriage licenses like seen here.  Other things such as a car title and things of that nature are going to eventually have a great use case for NFTs.  Lot of exciting stuff happening in that regard!

Awesome! The world has gone crazy, lol... its shocking, really shocking but then, its truly a memorable one indeed in the history of human existence if this is the first one. For sure its the first I've heard but then, I still prefer the normal ring. You know, sometimes, it goes beyond beyond bonding you and your partner to a reminder and a pointer to bachelors out there that this person has been put in a family way or taken in holy matrimony by someone else and as such, it prevents unnecessary hitting on someone you know.
So how do you do that with the blockchain? You have to go online for a proof or something because, if you still get a ring after exchanging virtual rings, there is no point.

Again, how do you handle issues with divorce should such a thing come up?

Pretty cool and I want to see this trend because I want to see what's going to happen to couples that will be having divorce. I am sure that this kind of gimmick would probably make things worse for marriage. I am not a fan of wedding, I mean they are a waste of time plus do you really have to marry someone to prove your love to them? You only make yourself vulnerable to divorce especially if you are making a lot of money.

hello bro, do you not like marriage? LOL
I think everyone has the right to decide who he or she lives with, you don't have to reveal your true identity.
back on topic, the OP brings you news of a couple of people who love each other and they happen to be crypto fans. what's wrong with marriage? so we are commenting on the crypto, not to comment on their right to marry. This point does not need to be extended. and what is your response as a crypto user when the title says Bitcoin marriage?

do you understand?

not disapproving of bitcoin marriage, but it would be nice if we don't throw away the existing custom, just an ordinary ring in the wedding, we better focus on bitcoin being well received by all countries, and big countries reopening bitcoin mining
That's what keeping us lagging us a species, holding our tradition and not adapting to changes. I think that it's just a gimmick so I don't think that you should worry about this marriage because it's not like everyone is going to do it.
