The Bangladesh players should be cautious here. Look at what happened to the Sri Lankans last time. Many of their senior players refused to play in Pakistan due to safety reasons. And therefore they sent a squad, that was primarily composed of youngsters. But they performed beyond all expectations in Pakistan and now many of these senior players are finding that their slots are under threat. The Bangladeshi players should not make the same mistake. If they refuse to play, then obviously the BCB will pick players from the B team or the U19 team.
For Srilanka it was a blessing in disguise as the senior players took a break because of security reasons and the Srilankan board was forced to find some new talents, if not i doubt there will be any change as the Srilankan selectors was not looking for new talents until they were forced to when the senior players refused to play in Pakistan. If the Bangladesh board can find new talents it is good for the team 
.As posted by Little Mouse above, the issue has been resolved and the senior players will turn up for the series against India. So we may not witness a repeat of all the drama and turmoil that the Sri Lankans experienced before their tour of Pakistan. Anyway we can't compare the two disputes, as the first one was over wages and the second one over security issues.
It is true that the Pakistan series gave the Sri Lankan selectors an opportunity to test new talent. And some of them (especially Wanindu Hasaranga and batsmen such as Shehan Jayasuriya) performed so well during that tour, that they found a permanent place in the senior side. No such possibility here, as the issues have been resolved. Anyway, my feeling is that against a strong side such as India, it will be better to go with the tried and tested.
