It may not be a good idea to have 2 spin options, and therefore either one among Ashwin or Jadeja may miss out on the selection.

With the fall of 6 wickets for 144 runs, I thought that maybe India would end the first innings before 200 runs by being all out, but with the amazing batting skills of Ravindra Jadeja and Ravichandran Ashwin, no wickets fell at 339 runs.
These two legendary batsmen managed to relieve India from such undesirable situations not only with Bangladesh but many times in the past.

India were playing so poor and losing their wickets back to back, I was looking at Sri Lanka to win the game very easily as Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma out after making less than 10 runs each till Ravichandran Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja have not played a great innings. Ravichandran Ashwin made a century, his role is not batsmen, he is an bowling all rounder but still he lead the team India put the pressure back on the Bangladesh team. These two (Ravindra Jadeja and Ravichandran Ashwin) are like the most under-rated players in the Indian squad. They have rescued the Indians many times in all formats of the game, and yet a lot of times the selectors find one or other excuse to drop them from the team. One reason for this maybe that these two are regarded as close to Dhoni and therefore opposed to the Virat Kohli-Rohit Sharma gang. India were struggling at 144/6. From that position, these two took India to 339/6 by the end of the day's play. And Bangladesh is doing what they are best at. Losing matches which they should have been winning.

Yes both teams are tough competitor and both have good reputation in international cricket. 1 st of 1 st test game was over yesterday and today 2 nd day will be play. It's wishful thinking atm as seamers are charged up but Ash is not a typical tailender and it's not like he doesn't know how to hold a bat, he got 5 tons after all. Don't want to jinx it but he's timing well so maybe, just maybe lol

The match has actually turned out to be interesting so far. India has scored 124 and has lost four wickets so far. Hassan Mahmud is absolutely running through the Indian batting lineup. He has picked up all of those four wickets. Jaiswal is still in the middle and that seems to be the only good thing for India right now. Kl Rahul has just come into the middle. So of course there is hope for them still.

If any team is able to put on a good total from this situation, it is India. As far as Bangladesh is concerned, they have started very well and I hope they will be able to continue performing well. The other bowlers of Bangladesh also have to contribute to the wicket column.
