Yes it uses very conservative rules for accepting transactions into the mempool. And if I recall correctly it wont accept zero-fee transactions, but I can't remember exactly what the rule is, I'd have to try it or ask catia. It also wont accept a tx if the amount being sent is lower than the fee, but only in cases where the account tree doesn't yet know about the receiving address (because sending coins to an existing account doesn't increase the size of the account tree).

I am watching this. Can we be a part of this testing phase, I mean is there any way we could run this on windows?
I guess you could install some virtual machine software. Other than that you need to have a linux OS installed because we wont be releasing a Windows build for a while.

no i received two txs the first one was for 1000 and the second one was for 100.

I am mining now and have coins
Oh ok catia must have sent you 1000 coins.

As for that problem, we believe it had something to do with 2 blocks being solved close to each other. It's good that it happened now because it would have been bad if we didn't notice this issue until later. Catia is looking into it now.

that's what testing is for  Wink

up and running

Edit: myoq946jrvuBCcHwzYV1cQV68Bdw1cVbjd
I had to delete my .cryptonite folder too so I have no coins to send.

Btw why did you have 999 coins left before when I sent you 100 and you sent 100 back to me? Did you mine them or something?

Ok you can restart it by deleting the hidden .cryptonite folder in your home folder (~/.cryptonite). Then it should start up again and recreate the .cryptonite folder, but after it does that you'll need to create the cryptonite.conf file again.

Yeah looks like the network exploded, all our nodes crashed. We're looking into the issue now.

i wasn't sure if that was the right address to use, i sent 100 back
Ok, if you like I can send you 1000 coins to mess around with or you can try mining your own coins using the following command:

./cryptonited -testnet setgenerate true 1

You replace the 1 with the number of cores you wish to use for mining.

And you can stop mining with this command:

./cryptonited -testnet setgenerate false

received them but how do i send them back? i am not to familiar with bitcoin api calls
There is an example of how to send coins in the opening post:

./cryptonited -testnet sendtoaddress mvqH4czVQg2HdGpkV7PWVZJpRXVwLnMXpN "0.01000000ep"

Just replace the address and the amount with what ever you want. The address in that example is mine.

You can also view a full list of API commands on the following page:
