They pick someone as "promotion guy" who either doesn't use English as a first language or has a very poor grasp of spelling and grammar?  Sounds a bit suspect when you have a team of Stanford graduates and high profile investors.

Yeah, very fishy.  A team of software developers from Stanford, backed by investors, would not pick someone with poor english skills as their representative.

We've decide on its name a long time ago,so it may still be GRANDCOIN because we have fixed its name months before and the name has already embeded in the coding lines. So in order to release it on time ,we decide on this name despite of an Grandcoin already exists.

What, are you coding this on manuscript? Just "Replace all" instances of "GRC" and "grandcoin" in an instant.

Sheesh... can't even come up with an original name. I feel queasy just reading this tbh...
Good luck with your definitely-not-a-scam-coin.

Not that easy.We have a lot of cooperation plan with Ctrip Co.,TV stations and more big names, also Standford. This coin is just here on bitcointalk to spread the fame, actually we have already carried out the promotion plan long ago.Dont be emotional,we have a lot of investors,we just want to distribute the coins cheaply so that the popularity gains quickly in the first round,if you wish. When we release the wallet and the Ads,you'll definitely know why this is not a scam, buddy.

I am just pitching in as well to say it is a very bad idea to go with Grandcoin.
It is unfair to your investors because it is going to be generally seen by the public as a bad move.
It is unfair to the other grandcoin - they had the name first and this will cause confusion and issues on the markets.

Also how you list off big names with a coin that is unknown and appears to be early in development indicates you are full of it.
I would set the scam alert on high just because you slipped those names.  Stanford?  Prove it.

As you may see,GRC cant be mined, only accumulated by surfing the Internet though our wallet, like do some surveys, watching funny videos in Youtube, etc. Our monitor Module in the wallet will test if the user is still sitting on the computer by showing some popup to ensure the user is still on.
The only way to earn the GRC before it comes out and you collect minor-sized coins day by day is IPO with us.

If this coin/browser/whatev is for real, I think it's a neat idea. It's interesting at least, compared to the sea of clones. Misspelling the college you go to is a big red flag for me though...especially leaving it like that for days. If it works and launches, good for you! But I'm out and I don't think I'll be back. Good luck Smiley

doesnt look like a Scam i think he intends to do what he sais , if the reward will be equal to the data collected thats another story.
on the other hand if u dont mind all ur data out in the open why not make a little money this way.(allthough i think there are more profitable alternatives allready in exsitance.)

youre obviously a fake account of the OP if you think that "There is no official website for GRC,because when you open the wallet,it will show you the website of us!Let me say again,It's a web Browser!" is not a scam

Do you refer to Stanford? If so, how come you can't even spell it right?
