You shouldn’t give your all hope into airdrops. As there are many that are around, only few of them do well to pay their users a reasonable amount for their efforts. Those that are familiar with the crypto space should know by now that airdrops are by chance and luck, not all will pay you but since it does not require you to put in some money, you don’t need to say you won’t try some out.
Lowering expectations on projects like that are the best and when you do that, you won’t be dissatisfied by the outcome of them. How referrals get more allocation is a sign that those that are into the crypto are getting more richer and newbies are being used as bait to get higher rewards. If you want money in crypto, there are many ways you can do that and not relying on airdrops.
Airdrop is like gambling, no matter how you research about the project, and the team behind it, you still need luck to be able to make anything meaningful from your activities in promoting them, so for me this question is not all that necessary because before you set out to take part in an Airdrop, you should be ready to lose our at anytime and infact have a zero expectations since airdrop most times are sponsored by scammer's who uses innocent people to promote their scam project's without any rewards for them.
What you should know is that, the current wave of airdrop have not really recorded any significant long terms success results, because even some few of them that rewarded their participants, still end up dumping in the market within a short period of time.
Just note that many have given up on airdrops and only newbies are still taking airdrop seriously.
