I have already warned you (see our previous posts) about the critical violation of the blue uptrend line.

You can see here how unstable is the price after this breakage.

In continuation of our latest post the breakage indeed has been happened.

Due to the huge volume there this breakage is considerably violent.

The trend remains Bullish despite the big fall on point F

The upwards trend line has been confirmed many times (points A, B, C, D).

Stay LONG as long as the price is above this line.

Consider to turn in SHORT when you see a breakage of this line (especially with High Volumes).

generally speaking yoy can add funds without any problem.
But this is a fine tuning:
If you are already in position then wait to close the position and to add the new funds.
if you are not then feel free to deposit.
In any case it is better first to stop the bot (in order its stats to be restarted) and afterwards deposit the new funds.

Hi Thanasis.. what would happen if we start Margin Speculator and later (a couple of days or one week) we add some additional funds in USD? can we do this or have you tested this scenario?

Now we are in the basic support / resistance line (point E) which is strong because it has been confirmed many times in the past (points A, B, C, D).

Here there will be a strong fight between buyers and sellers.

If the winners will be the buyers then we will see quickly the point H (450).

If the winners will be the sellers then we will see quickly the point F (419) or the point G (406).

As already have warned you - see the previous post - if the price will break this point you may be prepared for a strong upward movement.

Also the flat lower line shows that sellers are more aggressive than buyers. Is that correct?

A formation "Head and Shoulders" is shaped in the chart.

Shoulders are at the points B and C. Head is at the point A.

There is a pullback at the point D, which means that the danger of a deep fall has been temporally avoided.

In case of the neck line will be violated then we may see a rapid fall at the level of the Support Line.

To be more specific these pages are the following:

1) Generally speaking it is best to choose the default parameters for all around Market conditions.

2) When you feel that the Market is Bullish then as the bot is running – and at your own responsibility – you can increase the frequency of BUY trades somehow (say around 60) and (or not) to decrease the frequency of SELL trades somehow (say around 40).

3) When you feel that the Market is Bearish then as the bot is running – and at your own responsibility – you can decrease the frequency of BUY trades somehow (say around 40) and (or not) to increase the frequency of SELL trades somehow (say around 60).

4) In case your orders remain unfilled you can increase the Slippage parameter (the higher this parameter is the higher the probability that your orders will be filled but the higher the cost you will pay for it). In extreme cases you may also check the Market ordering option with the above described consequences much harder.

5) This bot use a smart enough Iceberg ordering procedure, splitting and randomizing your capital in small chunks.

6) Manual trading is not prohibited especially at the moment of an unfilled order and in the same - more or less - price as the original order. Of course this will be done at your own responsibility.

You are right, the results are very negative at the moment.

Few things to add yet :
- We saw a pike over 500$ last month. Each time a pump happens, the bots are catastrophic the months later. It was the same with best bots in early 2014.
- I don't know manual traders doing well in January on BTC. There are surely, but on alts instead.
- Statistically, it is higly likely to have a losing streak at any moment. Even the best and more profitable strategy will never prevent a losing streak, and with leverage the drawdown is always high.
- Many, many people rented the bot, and the bot is managing hundreds if not thousands of BTC. And only bitfinex, which is not the biggest market. That is the main problem for me. The crowd cant't win. Otherwise, where comes the money ?
- As a rule, don't rent a bot if you can't backtest on ANY EXCHANGE or PAIR ! It could be historically overtuned (even when honestly based on effective indicators) and you can't control and need to have confidence. I rented MSP as an option, not the main bot for my money !


It is obvious that Thanasis is a very good developper and has made open source and free bot for years. But the bot is overcrowed.
I am using another Thanasis bot (Strategy Composer) with basic indicators and it had unexpected good results (+30% after borrowing on okcoin.cn). The difference is nobody used it.
If tomorrow everybody chooses the second best bot on the market, the results will be catastrophic (even if every dev always answers that their bot can support many instances).

The conclusion stays the same : it is a very important loss, which will be very difficult to break-even, and nobody can tell which bot will perform best next month (trend, scalp, sideways...)
The choice to extend the subscription is personal or a money management strategy.

I would like to send out a strong warning for anyone thinking about using Thanasis bots, specially the Margin Speculator Pro.
From early January until now the bot is down over 60%.
Over at Cryptotrader people are getting frustrated with the bot and seriously questioning it and if its worth the 40$ it cost per month.
Thanasis way of dealing with the criticism is just saying "if you don't like it, don't rent it" and "I feel that you are bullying me"

Seriously, MSPro is going short on the lowest price and long on the highest price. It's doing the complete opposite.

Thanasis will probably say some bullshit like "You will see a loss of 20% in the beginning" or "You've done manual trades", which I didn't

I'm -60% on MSPro. Most people are lucky. MSPro is shit. It needs 120% profit before break even. People still extending MSPro, but I would highly suggest not to.

at this rate i wont be renewing my sub to MSP for a 3rd month. last month was a loss and this isnt starting out well either.

Well I lost money with the MS Pro bot today. It could have sold at $100 profit but instead sold at -$250. Hmm
