Doubled down at 11$, thanks haxor

You will hate the haxor now. The price is $14.6. It has risen from the $11 you like. You should have bought more.
Price is recovering strongly after everyone realised all the anti-ETH fud was exactly that, fud.

Either that or this is the dead cat bounce and the whales are setting everyone up for a big dump.

Average price is at 13.11, so im fine for the moment.
All the fiat thats invested, I can afford to lose.. so even if I will be bagholding after a dead cat bounce (seems highly unlikely atm) its no biggie

Same here. Although I have a few Ethereum, I do not have any DAO. But I wish the Ethereum to be successful.

The ramifications of the DAO/ETH hack haven't even begun to occur yet.  Wait till the fork happens or fails to happen, the child DAO matures or is overwritten, the lawsuits get filed, and the investors bail if/when they get their precious DAO ether back.  Until then, enjoy the short term ups and downs, but unless you're a day trader trying to make money on the short term moves, stay away.  Ether is not good for long term investing right now, it's far too uncertain.

After the soft fork, the investors stolen DAO is locked. But I understand it will take a hard fork to get the Eth back. It might take some time.

so are people dumping bitcoin now to go with etheruem again, or just some investor re-investing in investor after they caused the last panic dump? i can not think of any other reason why the price is recovering right now, i kow brexit has nothing to do with bitcoin crashing...

Simple: Make longs on exchanges waterfall on liquidations> fill your own bags, not only with bitcoins while at it... It will also fuel any future pump due to people fearing being left out after panic selling. All these "dumps" mean someone is "buying" at the same time.

You say that like it's bad..

FUD is fine if it's warranted in my books.

The thing is you are implying to the audience here it was NOT warranted in ETH's case.
..and you are wrong. (as usual)

Which i think borders on being dishonest.

That would be one massive DCB though so highly unlikely it is that.

If you are going to buy then you should buy the dips and sell the pumps. However that strategy doesn't always work like during the dotcom bubble dump. Eth might be headed permanently downwards, so be prepared to sell fast if it gets close to your buy in price.

That is my concern well. If I do not buy now, the price will rise a lot. But if I buy, the price could drop a lot.

Lol sell your eth, the bottom on that premined ipo scam is gonna fall out and spill blood on the streets.

Im pretty sure I should buy when there is blood in the streets  Grin
Right, IF what you're buying is worth buying to begin with.  Sometimes things get slaughtered for a reason.  Would you have bought Enron stock back in 2001 just because it was cheap?

Like all trading strategies, buying the dips is not a sure thing, because some stock price drops are due to negative changes in the underlying company's fundamentals. For example, investors who followed this strategy around the bursting of the dotcom bubble may have lost a lot of money because many internet companies lacked a proper revenue-generating business model.

You are taking an huge risks by buying a falling knife. It's not clear at all that ETH will recover from this mess. Sure the volume is huge and the price can rebound, bu fundamentals are starting to look uglier than Ribery. So I would just stay all in on BTC to be honest. Good luck with to the gamblers tho.

I think the Ethereum could fall further due to the recent hack. But it seems the price hit the bottom and is rising.

No it doesn't
