Of course, some kind of one Altcoin can make you a millionaire, but for this to happen, you need to buy them at least a dozen, then the probability that at least one of them grows very strongly becomes more real.
There are plenty of airdrops coin that makes you cash few grands and that's real. Frankly speaking that kind of coin is kinda common but due to the massive bitcoin publicity most of them are refrain to do it for free anymore I mean they are now just doing airdrops for specific coin holders. Good ol' days.

Wow you sure is a lucky man. Maybe, if I have known cryptocurrency before, I will also buy some potential but cheap coins then. But there is always a reason for that and i dont regret it. You made a good choice. Choosing many potential altcoins when it is cheaper and had a patience waiting for the surprise pump is something that is amazing. you can simply take the young altcoins at the bottom of the shopping corridor and wait for growth. and you can choose projects similar to those that have already shown good growth and invest in them.

A lot of what the OP said has happened to so many coins and some people have benefited from it.
Proper analysis of the market trend and perhaps what the future might hold, helps a lot. It helps in our decision making.
If we can do this, we might not need anyone to tell us what to do.

I congratulate you on this great achievement. Not everyone would be able to decide, especially at that time, to buy a little-known coin. You were right to take the advice. Your story is very inspiring.
this is not a victory yet, but half the work has already been done, although it must be admitted that even half of the young altcoins will not make much growth and will not live a year, but whoever does not risk, does not drink champagne.

You can follow his journey to becoming a millionaire if you can choose the right coin to hold because there are too many altcoins in the market, and that will make you confuse to choose. But if you hold bitcoin only then, I think that will give you a lot of money for the profit in the long-term because bitcoin price can increase higher in the future. Right now, we see the new coins that could be potential to hit the highest price, and it could compete for the old coins if their project is good.

Wow, that is a very great achievement and financial freedom, you really took the right step, but be careful not to use everything to travel for enjoyment, you still have to do lots of investment with it, even if it is outside cryptocurrency, so that you can be able to sustain the financial freedom.
Ethereum has really made a lot of us rich in one way or the other, just that it may not be as much as you got because of your own heavy investment, it takes a courageous one to really pump such amount of money in a particular coin at that point, but I think Bitcoin made a lot of people richer more. In April 2017, Bitcoin was still around $1000, imagine an investor bought same 10,000 which will be like 10 million dollars, it means he would be having about 200 million dollars when BC reached its ATH too, so you see that Bitcoin will always still give more.

Atleast you can buy back the ethereum now? Because this is not going to be the end maybe at the end of next bull run it may increase upto $10,000.

It was only a ladder for him to get to a prize on top which was fiat money. He's not an investor this was a one time gig and he went back to fiat "because his wife told him"
It's nice that he's happy with it but I wouldn't do that. I have enough that I could keep travelling around the world for a year or 2 with my cryptos but I'm not selling. Money has to be put to work not stored on some bank account.
