Well it BTC price market increase is not a factor that altcoins could go bull in the crypto market. What important factors for a crypto to get a good market price increase is the utilizatin of its tokens or coins as a means for transactions. This is why in investing a crypto should consider a project where token/coins could be utilize. There are other crypto that has high market price and positive in increase especially if that crypto has a lot of affiliations with the companies.

the Alts are in charge of fiat values, but they have been outpaced by the BTC in the short term as the operation. Those who are in alts feel the same way, and move their BTC over.

I think that alts and bitcoin are going to be progressively decoupled and one of the effects that is going to favour this is ethereum surpassing in marketcap bitcoin, probably next year.

I do not know about $10K as some kind of a level to be bullish for altcoins. But I do understand where your statement is coming from, most alts have followed bitcoin's price most of the time.

Yes we do need the price of bitcoin to go above that because that is when the price of all other altcoins will start recovering well and go to a good price where we can actually sell and make profits. the price of all other coins on the market very dependent on the price of bitcoin

So how much did you invested already in bitcoin? You are an exciting bitcoin investor and how that can be that strategy works if you are also buying during the peak times?
ANd now the market is waiting for BTC bull trend.
We do and I hope this will give a positive impact.

Not close to the bull in my view, we all know that freaking 10k barrier is hard as hell to get eaten, the walls are just strong from buy and sell walls that get the resistance very tight to overrun, not to mention the correction that will happen after the price surge of 10k if that happens in the near future, we need to pass the 15k resistance level after the present uprising of the price.

Sure, the market needs Bitcoin growth but not too swift otherwise it will lead to a heavy dump of all altcoins. A slow steady growth of Bitcoin till the 11-12k would be perfect I think. Waiting for the Consensus 2018, during and after it the market will start to grow.

Strongly I doubt. I do not see the prerequisites for such a development of events on the crypto-currency market.

I actually agree with the Tilbrook007. For far to long all the alts had shown a very strong correlation with what bitcoin does, so they are not going anywhere unless bitcoin price rises. Bitcoin dictates the trend, and it will probably continue to do so. I would be more cautious than OP though, because although the $10k is a very important level, I would say the the true bull sign would be for BTC to cross $12k, since that was the level where it got stuck on the last bull attempt.

not all altcoins require bitcoin to reach $10k, alt average has not moved since bitcoin has increased. even many altcoin who has to update and launch its products, but has no effect and does not make its price rise. all just the pump and when the pump is finished, then dumped harder.
The majority of altcoins are affected by the trend of the cryptocurrency. The global news can give massive trend to the cryptocurrency and all of altcoins will be getting a lot of impact from there. As you can see how the bad news about crypto regulation news give a huge impact to decline the price of cryptocurrency.

This is quite simple, for bulls to take control bitcoin has to break the 10k and then the 12k mark, if bitcoin breaks above these strong levels i think there will be no more stopping for it and we can see new highs.

I agree. That 10k break is just a message from the Bitcoin saying "I am still here, i am alive, wait for me."
I really believe that bitcoin could make it to even 30k usd in the upcoming months, we will wait and we will see for sure.
Good luck with you trades.

All alts are highly corellated with BTC, as people trust the crypto when BTC is growing, so the market capitalization grow and grow other coins. ANd now the market is waiting for BTC bull trend.

For the past few weeks alts trends are correlated with bitoin when the bitcoin goes green the alts do so. IMO, what it means that the purchasing power of crypto-economics were doing good. The so called American Tax day also contributed a lot on that pump that's why a positive vibes also attracts to crypto.

Alts need to bring something unique to the table other than what btc, eth and monero already does. I agree they need btc to be over 10k so they can have their pump too but that's because they are shitcoins which follow btc and have no unique features.

Thats 100% true, altcoins alway follow BTC price...but over 10k is not enough, I hope it will reach 20k sooner or later again.

10k is indeed a small obstacle in the rise of bitcoin.
When more than 10K, people's confidence will be greatly restored, this time may make altcoin have a good rise.
