They have a similar goal but as you mentioned, their data's are not the same. I think CMC is the leading among all so they have a larger database but in terms of honesty or accuracy, I can also go with Coingecko. I saw someone above mentioned Coinpaprika. I already tried this one and what is great about them is they can list tokens or coins that are not found in Coingecko and CMC, or those coins that we can mostly get when we apply and work for a bounty and airdrops.

Well, I guess that's because their listing fees are only cheap. It was a useful site after all to know the price of our coins and if where they are listed, or if it's now time for us to disposed them. But maybe some has a potential and are worthy to hold on. They may get listed on better tracking sites and exchanges later on.

Coinmarketcap is the most used cryptocurrency tracker. I used it since I was new in crypto because all you need to know can be found there in CMC such as their social accounts to determine their latest updates and announcement, and also the in information of their token/coin with the historical data of the price.

However, since you are talking about the best price tracker, I recommend tradingview. Each exchanges have small differences. So if you want to track the price for a specific exchange example in Binance, you can easily track it in tradingview.

Yes you can look for an exchange there and see their volume summary, not sure if its accurate but so far there’s no issue about CMC and Coingecko when it comes to their data and summary so its really advisable to have this one. Once you have you exchange already, you don’t have to compare it just focus on the exchange you are in and maximize evert feature of that site, Binance is still my top choice.

Like many have suggested more website for your enquiry but I prefer to use two of them which is coinmarketcap and coingecko. But you have not come back to say why you wanted the information and whether you have a challenge that you need some support. If you are satisfied though you can lock the thread.

from the Op post history, most likely he is very interested in trading. his primary goal may be to monitor the price movements of the asset he wishes to trade. or just to choose assets before making a trading plan. he may want to see the difference in asset prices across different exchanges for his trading purposes.
I personally prefer to use coinmarketcap for this kind of thing.

For Op, you make sure the website address is correct. Some time ago there were quite a lot of scammers who created websites that were almost similar to the original ones. The scammer will ask you to connect your wallet to the site, be careful.

OP, you've got the most popular price trackers for Bitcoin that also lists the prices of it from different exchanges so you've got almost complete data from here of what you're asking. But anyway, I'll just say my opinion about the three, coinmarketcap, coingecko and tradingview. So, the first two are really like the holy grail in terms of price trackers that has data from various exchanges. coingecko and coinmarketcap are two of the most commonly used sites for viewing coin prices. Not only are these two sites that can be used to see the price of each coin but there are many sites available to see the price of coins.

I also really like the multicoinchart site for viewing coin price charts. When viewed when opened, you are like a professional trader who is monitoring all price movements of the coins being traded.

Hmm, so you want a tracker, https://www.coingecko.com/, https://coinmarketcap.com/ & https://www.cointracker.io/ These are some recommendations as I can see above mostly everyone quoted them, there are a couple of differences between them as from the CMC you can analyze the on-chain-activity as Holder ratio, some other descriptive stats. i.e

These stats can help you in the descriptive analysis even though CMC provides the charting tools as well, on the Coingecko what I like most is the portfolio even its also available in the CMC but the more convenient one is Congecko's. There are some news and social media features as well.

I see that many have already told about all the reputable websites that are used for BTC price tracking. But for me personally, I use coinmarketcap.com. I like the interface and the way they present the data. There are various ways that you can see the price and use analysis. Also at the bottom section, there's an option named Markets in which you can find all the past and present data about where it is listed and what the recent price is. Although it is not the perfect solution because there are always latency and errors that we need to count as well, we have to work with what we have at hand.

But when you are trading live, try to watch the chart provided by the platform you are using to trade. Anything outside of that platform could give out false or incorrect information which could lead to wrong outcomes.

Hehe..that's right. I've also visited https://www.multicoincharts.com, but CoinGecko and CoinMarketCap are the most widely used and are still the mainstay of many people.
And which website is better. It really depends on what you are looking for and need.
And if you need accurate prices and want to see all the relevant information about a coin, I think CoinGecko is the answer. However, if you just want to quickly check the prices of a few coins, CoinMarketCap may be enough. And both can also be said to provide a Bitcoin price tracker which I think is good.

Yes, this is the standards, as obviously they are the first. So for some who have been in crypto for like 2017, this is the only 2 websites for tracking prices and many more.

But there could be others as well in the wild that hasn't been exposed to us here.

I believe most platforms or any tracker websites about prices of Bitcoin or any cryptocurrencies are identical because they only have 1 goal is to show prices of different cryptocurrencies, it is only some matter of speed, easy to use and some accuracy about getting average or real prices on different exchanges.

If you are asking about the coin tracking website or app that I am currently using besides Coingecko and Coinmarketcap, I would recommend Cryptowatch which will give you the price information of all coins in one screen.

It is perfect for large screen use so it displays all Bitcoin and altcoin prices for all CEXs (customizable).

A few weeks ago I found it because @hugeblack shared it when someone asked about Muli-chart in one screen.
