Look at
Stakenet, for the love of god, haha!
Stakenet is probably the project which has moved the furthest with lightning transactions, which quite frankly is pretty damn cool considering they actually helped the Litecoin team integrating lightning on mainnet.

https://litecoin-foundation.org/lightning-network-collaboration-with-x-9-developers/Stakenet is also the third project worldwide to implement lightning on mainnet. - AND YET. It's sitting with a marketcap BELOW $10 million. Let that sink in guys....
ANYWAY, Use case? Well, I can name several:
1) They are building their OWN Hardware wallet despite being supported by: Ledger, Trezor, and Xeeda.
2) They are building a TRUE lightning DEX run on masternodes, which insures
extremely fast trades, at the speed of any centralized exchanges actually. The masternodes will hold the blockchains, which means the average user doesn't need to download them on their own to interact and use the exchange.
3) They are building the worlds first lightning multi currency wallet (In
Beta testing right now), which makes lightning transactions available to everyone with a push of a button. This way, you can move funds around quickly, and once USDT moves to lightning imagine how fast you can tether up inside your
OWN WALLET if BTC pumps like crazy.
4) Masternode as a service + Monitoring Service. On Stakenet.io you can setup masternodes on XSN literally in like 5 minutes, since Stakenet will take care of your VPS. Your coins stays in your wallet, so it's 100% trustless.
5) Stakenet invented
cold staking (TPOS). I've been cold staking a lot before I moved to masternodes, and it works pretty well. No downtime.
6) Cross Chain Proof Of Stake. (CCPOS) This one is in the works, but imagine being able to stake your XSN, and recieve your staking rewards in BTC, LTC, USDT or whatever coin you want?
This was just a few examples of use cases for this project. Still accumulating while it's cheap, but it's hard since I believe 70% of the circulating supply is locked up in masternodes and cold staking wallets.
