If you are issuing an ERC20 token over the Ethereum blockchain, you can get a ".eth" domain to use as a wallet instead of the 42-digit hex address Smiley

You can find these names at:
- ENSListing(.)com
- NameBazaar(.)io

It can be used as a wallet and to further legitimize your project. Plus, it stops it from being able to easily be duplicated because it's human-readable - in addition to you beautiful ".io" subdomain, of course!. Goodluck!

That's very interesting. Many thanks!

If you're working on an ICO project, then the best domain to use would be ".io". Why .io? Well, as you probably already know, .io stands for input/output, especially when talking about something related to the tech scene. It is the perfect domain for a company striving to incorporate technological development and innovation into their projects or simply, a startup company.

So to put it together, if your project has something to do with technology, say, Blockchain, then this is the best domain for you to use. Unless, of course, if it is different.

hmm jes .io is nice and has become a standard, i still use .com though, and .io is more xpensive than com its 5 usd per month

Thank you!

Hello everyone!

What are the best domains and subdomains for ICO landing page?
How do you think?

Thanks to everyone!
And, what do you think is better for ICO - to setup additional subdomain name on your existing web site like ico.quantor.co or just setup new one like Quantor.ai (or smth like that)?

I think it's better to just use the root domain name instead of a subdomain.
First of all, it's easier for people to remember and recognize it and looks more professional in my opinion.

Why would you use a subdomain?

Many thanks for your opinion!

I think ".io", but also  I think you can register in ".com", ".net" , ".org". Domain should be short, better without "-" or numbers.
I doubt if this will affect the success of ICO. there are many factors that affect it, I'm not sure this really works.

Keep it simple.

Use main domain coin.io
Don't use subdomain joinico.coin.io

Most of the bigger ICO's (Bitcoin, ethereum, Litecoin) use ".Org" domains if you're planning to be more a Non-profit organization for the ICO, if not then most likely would say ".io" like others suggested.

I wish you best of luck!

.io is best for me because even most succesful ICOs use it and so that will help you with marketing.Psychologically people will be more comfortable investing in an ico that is by far almost same as the usual ones we see.

Hi
have a good time
Be careful; even ico websites are getting in trouble and are violating jurisdiction promoting securities without even realizing they fall under these conditions.

I think domain for your ICO would based on the theme itself of your ICO itself, it would be better if it is a domain that is easy to understand and remember by users so that many patronising your ICO will not be in wary finding it.

you can not make a mistake if you use .com or .net extension but there is very hard to find great two-words domain. It is best for seo and search engine ranking. we are already used here .io and it can't be strange if you choose .io
.me is also fine options

I recommend you top-level domain (ccTLD) .io because IO is used in IT as an acronym for input / output, the coin was used with advanced crypto technology so .iO is the best choices.
IO also usually used on OpenSources projects, like  most of cryptocurrencry right now is OpenSources Projects.
IO is most trusted in Technolgy Project.

A piece of advice....... If you are considering any website development. Keep in mind that .com .net & .org are the extensions you want to stick with if you want to be found in any google searches. Dot Com is king and always will be.The other extensions are a waste of your time and energies........ Do your homework!
