I think the best rpg game is digimon world. Digimon world game has a nice storyline and interesting, there are various kinds of digimon. In this game digimon can only evolve maximum at ultimimate level
Skyrim for RPG, AION for MMORPG, both offers openworld feature and with minimal requirements for weapons and awesome design of costume.

however, Final Fantasy are best ones. Especially VII, VIII and X.
the best RPG games i ever played is final fantasy 7, 8, 9, 10 and 12, it has a good story line and fighting style.
Can't go wrong with Final Fantasy Tactics! I also enjoyed Dragon Quest IX on the NDS
Mother2 was very fun to play.
