We cannot say with certainty what will happen to the world economy in 2024 and 2025, but if there is no really big disruption (globally), according to today's indicators, it is predicted that a slightly less turbulent period will follow. Therefore, regardless of everything, halving can still play a significant role in starting a new bull run, although we cannot be sure that everything will play out according to the already seen scenario.

In other words, it is logical that we believe that a better period is coming, but on the other hand, it would be completely unreasonable to blindly believe that the price of BTC will explode just because it has always been like that after the halving.

There's never a certainty when it comes to world economy. I think each of the last few crisis that happened have not been expected/predicted as they all came suddenly, except for Covid (which was for sure going to have an impact as many industries practically just shut down).

So another Covid would for sure set things off but I keep feeling like we are going to have something severe, but not sudden. UK, EU, and US are all saying that they are trying to prevent the worst things. Same as in many Asian countries, they are all saying, it's tough but don't worry we are doing all we can to stop the worst from happening.

And usually, that's when we have to watch out.

That does mean a better period comes, just we have to wait for a severe economy to pass through and I don't think we have yet. Inflation, joblessness all getting there as a sign of things to come.

For most people, DCA is enough to survive this crypto winter, but if you want to invest a lot of money in bitcoin, then I think it's better to wait until the signal we talked about.
BTCBTCBTCBTC

I think, the better time is now because the price of Bitcoin just decreased to $22,135 which is a signal for crypto investors to use the opportunity to buy as much they want in this period and hold for the price to hit back $50,543 before they can sell and smile in the market. I don't think, the price of Bitcoin will still decrease more than $22,000 this year 2023 before it will start pumping like the way investors experienced it in 2020, and it really help investors to achieved what they want in that season. It is advisable to invest now, because what investors experienced last year will not happen this year because the market price has changed early this year for investors to know that this year is a favourable year for those that will make a good choice to invest in a stable coins in this season.
Be patient, as it looks like this dip will continue but let's hope it doesn't drop below $22k. And this is a good opportunity for us to buy more bitcoins but remember to use the money we can afford and make a strategy to buy bitcoins in this downturn. Don't let us decide to go all-in before we know if it's a good moment or if we should wait a little longer. But the all-in strategy is not a good thing to do because there is a decline that will still occur again and if we use the all-in strategy, we will not be able to buy bitcoins anymore.

People expect short time big profit and buy bitcoin out of greed. This is the most common fact seen in many traders or investors. Not all of them, but those who are new to the concept. Whenever you buy bitcoin, you can be sure that even if it falls, it will go up again. If you are a long term investor, then the time won't matter much. But you need to make profits too. So market analysis can give you a hint on when you can buy to get the best profit. But in the long run, you are making profits anyway. DCA and HODL is the best option IMO. In given market situation, split your buying in different price point. Don't just put all your money in one price point.

The best time to buy Bitcoin is when the time that you are ready to face the consequence and are willing to take responsibility as a holder, not a panic seller.

Buy Low and sell high - it doesn't really matter if you as an investor are impatient and too emotional that for sure you ended up selling low due to panic. Like if you have a plan to investment just make sure that you ask yourselves first if "I am really strong enough and will adopt to the market condition". Otherwise, we don't need to be stupid to invest just to lose our money.
If you are not panicky and willing to HodL for the long term then you can buy Bitcoin at any times by doing a DCA strategy. There is no need for you to wait for the price to drop to buy at lows but to be able to sell for profits, we will still need to wait for the price to rise. For someone who has a doubt of themselves if they can be able to HodL for the long term or not, they can always start at shorter terms first.

We can't always be a pro at investing if we are still a starter but it can also be done in process just like on any other things. After so many trials and errors, we will soon figured out the pattern and that was the time that we can improve ourselves.

You can't decide the Best time to buy BTC as there is no one in this community who can predict the efficient Bottom of the market. It's an idle case dear so buys whenever your heart says now is the time to grab the opportunity. DCA is the best way to avoid FOMO and Fads. The market always tries to trap you with the most successful and efficient way to trade and invest in DCA. Maximum of the traders and Community use DCA for Bitcoin.

The majority of us are expecting or at least hoping for a new bull run somewhere after the upcoming halving because there seems to be some correlation between the two. However, what if the economy is in a worse condition than it currently is? We certainly can't expect much growth currently since the market has been going downhill for the past few years, but what if the condition is worse in the near future? Could Bitcoin still thrive?

The OP is also claiming that there's still a possibility of the market crashing again, but in my opinion, Bitcoin is unlikely to fall below $20,000 again.

No one can predict the future, but as bitcoin investors, we should be optimistic about the future of bitcoin rather than pessimistic, it will not benefit us. No one can tell if bitcoin will explode after the halving, but we should believe that history will repeat itself until we make a new history. I still believe that history will repeat itself because I have a strong belief in bitcoin, we need to trust our choice. Doubting too much doesn't make us better.

yes it's time to buy bitcoin, because the price at $ 23000 is still a very cheap price because 2023 can be said to be bullish for crypto currency,
especially in the AI sector which is currently often talked about by people,
buy and hold I'm sure you won't regret it, remember 2024 or 2025 Bitcoin could reach $100k.

The best signal you can get for you to buy some coins is when everyone is speculating on things like "when bitcoin zero" or "is this the low" and all these funny phrases... Believe you me, it never gets better than this, and if only we understood how market price moves people would be buying the dips unlike waiting for price to have the momentum then you jump on board late and price pullbacks....lets familiarize ourselves with cyclical movement's of price to catch some winner's.

if you want to wait for the price to fall before buying, I'm afraid we will wait too long when we are a beginner who wants to buy Bitcoin.
if your buying needs for long term investment planning. I'm sure buying when the price is cheap, is good, but who knows when the price will be cheap?
just collect your Bitcoin consistently. it will not be felt when you consistently buy some amount of Bitcoin. and in the future, you will see that your wallet has enough Bitcoin for you to party.

Agree if the market is not strong it is never possible to invest investing in bitcoin requires a long wait, if you are impatient you will never be able to make a profit. Cryptocurrencies like bitcoin can experience price volatility on a daily or even hourly basis. As with any type of investment, volatility should not cause uncertainty fear of missing out or fear of participation at all price volatility is seen due to price fluctuations.
I hear ya, bro! It's definitely strange to think that the 2024 halving might not bring a bull run, but we've seen market trends come and go before. And let's be real, these fluctuations are just part of the game.

As for the regulations surrounding Bitcoin in the US, I don't think we're quite there yet. While Russia has expressed interest in making Bitcoin a legal tender, I think it's going to be a bit of a stretch for other major countries to follow suit. The Chinese have their own digital currency plans, and for the US and Europe, there are still a lot of questions to be answered before Bitcoin could ever become a legitimate form of payment. The domination of Bitcoin in the economy is just one of many concerns that need to be addressed.

Do you mean that we always wait for the deep to start buying? Might be a good idea but it was already an old fashion. We no longer wait for that moment to come otherwise, we waste a lot of time waiting for it.
We just put in mind that the Bitcoin price is quite growing, so if we buy at the current price we are still certain that we can earn profit days from now. In fact, many investors are preferred to buy more Bitcoin when the price is moving high, not during the dip for they no longer wait for a long time to sell their coins. That is such a good strategy as well, kinda be smart than those who wait years but still earn a small profit.

I buy Bitcoin gradually when I have money and want to add to the Bitcoin that I have. I do hold Bitcoin for the long term, and I don't do much to set a buy price. when the price drops I will buy it. somehow I always think lightly when I want to invest in Bitcoin. I feel a different kind of pressure when I want to hold altcoins.
It is a good plan to buy bitcoins when the price of bitcoins is low.  Because no one knows when the price of bitcoin will rise it can only be guessed but that guess doesn't always work right so when the price of bitcoin looks a bit low it is always a good plan to buy some bitcoins.

The best time to buy Bitcoin is when the time that you are ready to face the consequence and are willing to take responsibility as a holder, not a panic seller.

Bitcoin prices have been seen to rise all the time.  Bitcoin sometimes undergoes correction due to some event or special reason but Bitcoin makes new ATH again. So it is true that anyone who can't be patient in buying Bitcoin can never expect anything good from Bitcoin.  Panic sellers always face losses.

The best time to buy bitcoin is when the price is below. Like in a few weeks ago, it was at $15k. But unfortunately, we don't know when the lowest price of bitcoin will be reached, and we can only predict the price. And maybe a clue that we can use is when the price experiences a correction and goes down. We have to get ready to buy at the low price we want and hope it's the lowest price.

But if your goal is long term, you can use the DCA strategy so that it won't confuse you to set a low price. As long as your target is weekly or monthly, you can buy bitcoins at any price immediately but make sure to buy when there is a correction.

Here is my advice being here since 2014.

Best time to sell your Bitcoin is when everywhere you go, everyone is talking about Bitcoin. Your mother is asking you about Bitcoin. You get in an Uber and he is talking about Bitcoin. That means it’s time to sell.

Best time to buy is when people are saying Bitcoin is dead. And it’s trading sideways and not going anywhere. That is the perfect time to buy when everybody else has moved on back to stock or forex.
