I was think more towards Youtube. I mean if enough people watch it, we can make it into the most watched section in Youtube, right? Then nearly everyone in the world can know about BTC.

That is actually not a bad idea if we (bitcoin users) can manage to get that much views on it that it could get a place in most watched videos in Youtube then really a large number of unaware people will come to know about bitcoin through this, but the challenge is to bring too many views on that video.

I think this forum is a great way for people new to bitcoin to get information. This forum has been around for a few years and there are a lot of people with a thorough understanding of bitcoin. I'm learning new things by reading posts on this site.

That is actually a great idea, and i think it would be better to create a group on Facebook as it is the largest social network in the world and with the help of that group we (bitcoin users) can also convince other users who do not know anything about bitcoin to use bitcoin and tell them the advantages of bitcoin.

in how many facebook groups you're currently? are you active there, how fast news reach your newsfeed, are there are people available to discuss events as soon as they happen?

If someone is interested in bitcoin then he would surely be active in that group, it is an obvious thing that no one gives any response to something he doesnt like but he would surely give response to something he gets impressed by.

there are already lots of bitcoin related groups exist in the facebook. lots of links. sites, and earning offers being shared with users everyday.
which type of specific group you need to be managed?

I think the easiest way to explain to someone about Bitcoin is over an instant messaging app like Whatsapp or Telegram. You can build local Bitcoin communities along with the global ones and direct new users to some of them to get answers to their Bitcoin related questions. This will be a great advantage for the new users, they will be able to ask questions as chatting with one of their friends.

Please let me know what you think and I will write more.

yes i agree with you because when making a local bitcoin community will be able to facilitate a community gathered in one place, for example, restaurants and others

I agree because now many chat applications that are widely used by people not only Whatsapp or Telegram like BBM, Line and many more. In addition we can also use other media such as social media at FB and twitter.

Looking at the volume of repeated queries on same topics, it's a good idea to do whatsapp or other chat platforms.

A broader point to address is the authenticity of information available to biginners. With it's own challenges of effective onboarding, this forum still remains the best source of authentic information on bitcoin and whole of the 'crypto-internet'

I have to say that proper education is the key when bringing new people into the bitcoin world.  If people are educated with the proper way to learn about bitcoin, they will not make some of the stupid mistakes that some of us make in this world.

education is indeed important but when it comes to bitcoin i believe for the normal user is relevant only to some degree. i mean a lot of people use internet and have no idea what is happening behind. most of the people just need to know that it works for them some how.

To a person who knows 50% about digital currencies as well bitcoin can be taught easily through the messaging app's, but for the one who is entirely new to this has to be taught personally by understanding the real interest of the person and in what way he can be explained.

this is an interesting idea but from my personal perspective, as long as there is reddit for every topic you can think of and also this forum for bitcoin i never look for any place else.

Yes but new users are not able to find those reddit posts and this group chat will just facilitate you to share some of your knowledge with the begginers.

why not? these places are not exclusive clubs that don't let others in! they are open to public and everybody has access to google, and the first thing most new users do is using google to find out more about bitcoin and everything you search your top results are either bitcointalk, reddit or stockexchange(?)

that said i don't think your idea is bad. in fact i kinda like it.

It's a good one. If you want teach someone about bitcoin, i think it will more easier if you teach him face to face. So he will understand and can ask you anything about bitcoin.

indeed this is could be great idea but you can't explain bitcoin to a lot of people every day because you have your own limit to do so and i think this is not simple actions and i'm pretty sure you would not do it every day and everytime and for me just create new blog with simple explanations for bitcoin that could accommodate all newbie questions with basic answers for bitcoin maybe this is more good

Instant messaging is good but I think the best way for me to accommodate beginners is through social media sites like facebook, instagram or twitter. Almost all people that I know of is in the social media and if I post something about bitcoin and that I can earn from it then maybe they will be interested about it. I will explain it and then proceed to creating a group for further discussion about it.

In fact indirectly bitcoin is being promoted to newbies from many PTC nowadays. They have large user base, mostly from very poor countries like India, Bangladesh etc but many of them are introducing payment via bitcoin to their users. Mostly this is being done by revenue shares disguised as PTC which at least 99% of them fails quite soon with a maximum life of 6 months but what I want to say is that they introduce bitcoin to these people who maybe have never heard about it before. They have a dedicated section about it but the problem is them going offline after 6 months.

By the way the only best way to accommodate beginners to bitcoin is by promoting this very forum heavily. I have done so in a few  other ventures online which I use, other forums not bitcoin related but money related.

See maybe you got this wrong, the idea is NOT to promote Bitcoin. The idea is to keep a communication channel open for beginners, to give them a easy app that they might be already familiar with to be able to ask their questions. I think we can all agree that if someone come and ask any of you, hey what is bitcoin, all of us will spend some time and explain. Check my signature for the telegram username and let's discuss more.

Sounds like a great idea!

But why limit yourself to WhatsApp and telegram? Why not focus on developing the community and network and outreach to those who don't use bitcoin. Any communication technology will serve the purpose of keeping people connected. I think the real challenge is growing the number of people involved in bitcoin, which means we need to talk about it with people who aren't yet familiar. We need to introduce it to them, show them how it works, answer their questions, etc.

Because people are familiar with WhatsApp and Telegram is already being used by some bitcoin communities, there is a list available on www.coin.army I would love to continue this discussion here, but I have a post limit, if interested you can find my telegram username in my signature, send me a message please.
