I think that the best way to make profit with crypto is trading. But hodling is also a good strategy. Btw, it’s possible to combine these two activities. The combination of trading and holding could be even more profitable than one of these activities in separate. But it’s not so easy, coz you need to oversee different situations in the market and think about both a place for trading and safe wallet. Well, for holding I’m using a hardware one. The place for trading also needs to be reliable and safe. I’ve tried several exchanges and all of them was quite ok, as I never used a platform until I made a proper research. When viewed from the current situation I would prefer to invest in Altcoin in the long run. Maybe if one of the choices you give me choose for airdrop and bounty program because even if I lose I will only lose time and not money.
Probably, you have not noticed the fact that altcoin price are not usually sustainable and if you are looking at holding them in the long run without taking advantage of their fluctuations once in a while, you may as well just realize how much you have ended up missing at the end of it all anyway. This is a bit uncertain to say that the price will be on the top in a month or two. I think one should not expect to earn back quick money followed by investing money. The reason behind it is that the market is not always in good vibes and sufficient time is normally needed to get back to a normal market. It took the market an long time of three years to recover the time it dropped in 2013. Similarly this year has been a cold year. Moreover, only a calm and passionate man can earn big money regardless of whatever the market looks like. So yes the best way to earn profit and make money is to invest low and hold till the bull.

I think that is the participation in Airdrop and bounty campaign. You will have to work but you do not need any capital to participate in the occupancy. airdrop and bounty do not have risk that only requires energy and time to work but there is not much you can get there. invest ico and trade if you want to get big profits but it has a high risk.
Airdrops and bounty campaigns are much more good to have profit when you are joining there free and could have a big profit if the airdrops or bounty will success.
There is no best way and good way to gain profit in cryptos. Even those who are good in speculating are scratching their head lately after calling it a good buy but missed the call. Even those who say safest is to sell upon reaching at least 2% profit is not safe after all because there are times, price doesn't move too much and when it moves, price is not going up, but down. Just make sure you trade only the money that you can afford to loose and that's it. Either you profit or not you can sleep at night not worrying that you will sleep on the streets next day.

I think the best way to earn profits in cryptocurrency is to go for Arbitrage trading. That is, you can buy any altcoin which you seem have the potential to grow from one exchange at a bit lower price then sell it to another exchange at a bit higher price. Then you can keep the price difference of your altcoin on both exchanges as your profit. It is obvious that this method would be best if you are doing arbitrage for altcoin in large amount.

If you do not have the funds I think you should join the Bounty program, that would be better for you, and from there you could start earning money from the Bounty campaign as an initial investment.

If you look at each of the ways you mentioned, the less risky is airdrop and bounty programs. Why? Because you are not going to invest anything aside from time and effort to do so. Nowadays, investing in ICO is what I think has the higher risk because of the scams related to it.

There are a number of ways to make profit in crypto. For me, I mainly invest in ICOs and do some swing trades from time to time. But recent market trends has made ICOs to be less profitable. Like 9/10 of new ICOs go at least 0.5x from the ico price. That leaves ICO investing out of the question for now. The same goes for trading since the bear market just makes everything red. You might want to try some bounties. It can come in handy but airdrops are just waste of time.
