The best way to quit gambling is just don't investing or deposit any amount into the gambling sites or casinos, and even don't visit it either online or offline
Lol if you're addicted i'm not sure how you'll stop just like that, you need some kinda of motivation/fear to stop gambling. fear works perfectly i guess as it worked out for me. Cheesy
This is why a lot of people hate gambling. When they lose and try to recover their losses, they end up losing even further.
They'll lose even further until they have nothing to lose and only then they will realize about just how much they actually lost and regret it so bad that they'll want to end their life for such a fatal life mistake.
The best way I know of is for an individual to take a decision to stop and ready to stand by it...
The thing is it is easy to think to quit in gambling but hard to implement it, I think we will wait for the time that we lose a big amount of money because we accept that gambling is very hard to win and that would only be the time to quit gambling for good.

if you never lose anything then you are not really a gambling addict but since that is not possible i say if you are not losing much, and you are still in an affordable range of losing money then it is still ok but if it is getting out of hand and you are losing a lot of money that you can no longer afford to lose then you have to seek help.

Be honest with yourself and other people. Accept the facts. Never put all your funds in just one wallet, limit them. Don't deposit into gambling websites and keep most of your btc in cold storage.
Good suggestions all of that can be work and also I think your friends can help especially if they care about you, they can really help you out of gambling, you can travel with them or even your family.  Wink
Yes it was a good way to me as if it has been too addicted gambler definitely need people around to help get out of gambling. Stopped depositing to gambling sites also very appropriate because it can help to stop gambling.

Lock your money way and give someone the key.

this is a good advice only if you can find someone who you can trust with the key to your life long savings money.

and since many of us don't have that kind of person in our lives we can never use this. i personally prefer to lose the money gambling rather than losing it by giving it to someone who runs away.

Lock your money way and give someone the key.

That is nice suggestion because without money impossible to gamble, this would be easiest way to quit gambling or anybody have to prepare himself and learn how risky gambling can be, I think nobody can give up suddenly maybe he can take break when he got busted but he have money than again start playing.

that is surely a nice advice, to stop gambling, all you need is the determination from yourself, gambling using faucet will trigger another gambling chain, so i suggest if you want to stop gambling just quit it, dont touch it or even see it, a slight trigger it's going to cause you back to the addiction

Op, is is common mistake of gamblers, they usually want to recover all their loses, and they convince themselves if they can do it - then they will quit.
But guess what - we have two potential outcomes here: either gambler will lose more money - deposit more - lose more and spiral will continue or
he will hit some nice fat jackpot and convince himself that gambling is really the way to go. Both ways are totally wrong if you want to quit.

this is not the mistake of gamblers it is the mistake of the gambling addicts and i think there should be some kind of a difference between these two groups of people because the first one is only gambling for fun and enjoyment of the games but the second will always do what you explained, they lose and lose and even if they win they continue until they lose.
gamblers are really the main problem and not the gambling sites or houses. because once you've enter gambling sites or houses it is always your choice why you gamble for that moment. And you cannot blame anyone to this because you are the main problem.

Yes chasing your losses in the gambling is the biggest mistake made by any gambler. When they loose their amount at the start in any bet they cannot resist themselves and cant control themselves. They want their money back so they double the amount they bet.And 3-4 consecutive looses can cause alot of damage for them and big loss.So wheneven you loose just try to forget about the loss and move on.

Usually those two where scenarios will end in addiction... If we want to quit gambling easier without having any collateral damage or impact to us, it is better if we know or notice earlier that our behavior towards gambling is on that two scenario that you've mention..  That way we don't have to struggle too much in quitting...

The best way to quit gambling is by controlling yourself and spending more time offline with friends and family for a good time, till you feel you don't need to gamble anyway.
That's true we can use our past time in our family and not in gambling. We can bond with them and if we do it instead of gambling we can also have a better relationship in our family. We can also build good memories with them, being with the family is happier than to play gambling.

Keep remember on your head that earning money is hard and many people out there that don't have money, so you must wise use your money on gambling and think twice about it.
Yeah like try to think of a thing every single day to be grateful/thankful for. If you're living in a 1st world country, remember that people from 3rd world country are dying to get there. Always remember that an hour of work there is equivalent to a day of hard work in here. If you're eating 3 times a day or even more, remember that some people are grateful for eating once a day.

The money that you're going to lose from gambling can be used in so many good ways. Even if you didn't work hard to get that money, remember that you're not alone in this world and you should share your blessings to the less fortunate people.
