The biggest annoyances here have to be the scammers.

This is exactly it, as a new user expect PMs from people selling miners/shared that don’t exist...

Please do your homework with them, if they give you a BTC wallet address check that any transactions have occurred in this wallet using BlockChain

https://blockchain.info/address/17nZKFkvMAdPpmDEGDhTNea57yBmKseSVU

Remove the "17nZKFkvMAdPpmDEGDhTNea57yBmKseSVU" and place the BTC wallet address they have given you on the end of the URL, And REMEMBER just because they give you a wallet that has frequent transactions DOES NOT mean it is their wallet.
I’ve had this done a few times, they have found a member on here used their BTC wallet address and posed it as theirs.

Another tip, Use Google in google search type site:bitcointalk.org Th3P
Obviously whatever you type after the URL is your search term (in this case my username) you can type there’s, what they are posing to sell, their BTC wallet etc etc

And you will get anything that matches that search, See this:-

https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=site%3Abitcointalk.org+Th3P&oq=site%3Abitcointalk.org+Th3P

Another ask for photos with their username in the photo (be aware this can be faked using photoshop to a degree)

Well it makes sense. If they didn't put up all these barriers there would be a ton of spammers going around this board.

Seriously, there are people that read forum agreements? Along with mortgage paperwork, credit cards, insurance policies, and 401k details i suppose.

The post limit on time is elitism pure and simple. The regulars on the board loath the lowly noob and their silly questions.

The time limit for posts is not to prevent you from posting something stupid. Most of what anyone ever posts regardless of status is stupid to someone else that has more experience or is more intelligent.

The limit for posts is to keep you a noob longer. It takes longer to reach the youre-not-a-loser-anymore threshold.

The worst part about this limit, is when you click Back after getting the message, your post is no longer there, so you have to re-type. Maybe a countdown clock would be a nice feature to show noobs a little respect.

OMG you think that was the annoyance?

Dude, it took me two weeks to figure out that this was the only area where I could post.

I was like 'Where on earth is the 'Post' or 'Reply' link....after so many visits, finally I found this area to post.

359 seconds would be far more reasonable.
In all seriousness I do agree. I don't see how the current limitations stop anything
