It's funny how outdated the prices are... I mean, it seemed reasonable at the time.   Cheesy

I took a look and thought to myself that this game could be a little more realistic on the prices but then I saw the creation date  Cheesy
It needs a "to da moon" revision.

I think the Dogecoin community will appreciate much if OP will do a remake for them!

Looks like a great game. You should consider making an online game or mobile app.

With kickstarter its harder to market your venture/idea.

Its gotten crowded, but not impossible. I also suggest other crowd sourcing like indigogo the lets you receive the funds regardless if the goal has been reached or not.

With Kickstarter, its really a time sensitive thing, so if you dont have a effective marketing or some blog hype then look into that before. In this case, it`ll be this forum that drives your donation.

People fail because of lack of preparation, so prepare!

This game looks freaking awesome. Is there a direct link to the actual game board / better cards? [I don't have a stock card or anything fancy and there's no place to print them locally to make them nicer]

There is no actual board game. There is just a prototype that I have made.

You can also make one with the files I uploaded. You will have to print them out (it also works on normal paper) and then cut them up and glue cardboard backs on them if necessary.

This would be a great project to put on Kickstarter or similar (there was a bitcoinstarter.com but it's down at the moment) and get crowdfunding to get it done properly and all the contributors get a copy of the boardgame Smiley

Nice idea. I think I will actually do that.
But it would be best to collect the funds in Bitcoin, too.

I would have three financing stages depending on amount of funds coming in.

1.) Up to about $500
Just have some minor changes and make the game available for purchase on thegamecrafter.com

2.) up to about $2000
Have the graphics remade nicely by some professional graphical artists.
Publish on thegamecrafter.com in higher volume.

3.) over $2000 (approx.)
Like 2.) but have a larger printing run (ie. not necessarily on thegamecrafter.com), so that an individual game would cost less.

Would you be interested in this?

Bitcoinstarter.com was a Bitcoin crowdfunding platform. But the site's been down for a while Sad

I'd be interested but I think it's better to aim high - maybe look for a graphic designer to partner with?

I'd be interested if you partnered with a graphic designer and aimed for approx $2000 to make it awesome Smiley

I could even help with a website.

Hello,

Bitcoinstarter.com is on its way back-up with much better features!  I think Mageant you've been in touch with someone regarding it but not entirely sure. We would like to list this project when we our official opening. We'll be using Bitcoin PR buzz in your signature so you can take advantage of some of the traffic to your project. Just PM me and we can discuss you getting up on it  thanks!

I just made and uploaded a version 2.0 which is less luck-dependent and should make a more interesting game.

Also the board now varies from game to game (similar to Settlers of Catan) so that each game is different.

Could you add design changes to make it scale to any RL exchange rates?
