You did a good job to point out all those project but does not denied the fact that some projects on that list top quality. you made it clear. some are average and while some are just low key projects. projects like Geoma DAO project that have little or no activity on their social media group.
Thanks for the compliment. Im just helping them to find some literally potential projects. Some fo those who joined on my listed campain earned some decent tokens.

Geoma DAO is a good governance token but like what you said they lack visibility on their social media.

But of course, there are some opinion here that dont like bounty too. I prefer a bounty type that will increase knowledge and hone our skills too so better to choose category like article and creating such skillfull bounty like an art or infographics. Signature campaign too is nice, but always researched which project to support with.

If you joined dia campaign with token worth 2$ or ATH you 4$ on signature campaign, then it would worth huge money which even on a typical bitcoin paid campaign wouldnt catch up the earnings. So dont under estimate such bounty sometime it would worth something can give you fortune.

This is the sad reality of bounties right now. These ICOs are using their "disclaimer" as their own defense that they have the right to change the rules, allocations, terms and conditions, etc., only to deceive both investors and bounty hunters in exit scamming (especially those who have submitted KYC). Been a victim of these, but I learned and keep moving forward. I agree with the OP, it's really unfair for bounty hunters like me not getting paid what we deserve, but again I treat it like it's "gambling" where we get lucky if they indeed paid me and not getting a token dump after they list on various exchanges.

However, as a bounty hunter, I understand that this is some sort of gamble whether that bounty is legit or scam. 95% of them are scam, and only 5% of them are actually legit.

One of the reasons that most of us keep joining bounties despite the risks in time and effort is because of additional income. I know that most of us aren't happy of our income situation right now even if we "over-deliver" our services to them. I would be grateful enough if there are bounties who did give me some additional income on top of my monthly income. I don't care if it's an extra $10, $20 or so in my pocket, it still means a lot to me and I'm grateful for that. It would help pay my bills and additional needs.

There has to be a system where all bounty hunters are protected and insured in case projects have failed, so that we got something in return for our time, effort and skills in promoting their projects.

I have been blessed enough to find campaigns that paid even tho things didn't go as they expected and those who listen to bounty hunters.

The way project treats their bounty hunters can say a lot about project itself. Watch out their conversations.

"The true measure of a man is how he treats someone who can do him absolutely no good."

Might sound cliché but it's true.

New hypes = new scams. Besides some of the very first ICOs out there, most of them ended up as scams or abandoned projects. It's quite obvious especially now as people only desperately keep looking for other ICO-like shapes of offerings so that they can earn a bag of bucks out of them. It's just so sad to see how many newbies still fall for them. Bounties are most of the time just you wasting your time promoting scams that scam you in the end as well.
The best solution right now for beginner is to stop promoting the bounty campaign which incidentally has proven to only make them disappointed by failing. I just didnt promise that I would never participate in the bounty again, but until now I have not been interested in joining the bounty again because I was too disappointed some time before.

Some of the current bounty still pay bounty hunter and these are very limited. Joining a bounty without in-depth analysis is just a waste of time and its true. I hope beginner can realize all of that and start thinking about how to sort and choose which bounty campaign are good and worthy to be promoted. Joining without any consideration will only make them disappointed.

Smart is not enough, there must be skills
How many bounty hunters in the shoes of altcoin creators having suddenly become "rich" would act any differently ? Greed is quite common and even an understandable attitude. I guess the best is to chose campaigns that award tokens right away, that way the creators can't change their mind later.
Greed is everyone's problem. When altcoin creators get greedy they will create scam projects that will hurt others.

To choose several campaigns that pay tokens immediately is not a guarantee that the project or campaign will be successful, there are many other factors that must be considered. Today's scammers are getting smarter and more, so finding a project that actually earns and pays bounty hunters is very difficult. Paying Hunter Tokens immediately will always be a classic excuse for delaying payments.

Learn the project first, whether it has potential or not. If it has potential move on and if it doesn't look attractive and the project isn't clear leave it.
Don't ever expect income from a bounty campaign it all can be nonsense and nothing will result as long as we promote it, well the greed for the altcoin project is still happening, just look at the hunters now and the team has no plans to advance only they take advantage of it. hunters and investors.

There are many other factors that cause the bounty campaign to not develop anymore, there are many scameres, failed projects that do not pay hunters, always delaying payments even if they have no value, that is what causes the bounty not to be noticed anymore.

Some of the current projects are always doing whitepaper plagiarism, fake teams, their bad plans, and also just take advantage of hunters alone.

So that's all we need to research and learn never to be trapped in a bounty like this.

I don't see marketing and advertising as needs when launching a cryptocurrency. Satoshi did it without promoting it. The next coin creators after him did it as well. Why pay now for projects that almost always end up as scams if you never had to pay Satoshi for creating and advertising Bitcoin?

Projects that are good will pop to the surface easily in time, as soon as the list of shitcoins gets cleared up. So throwing your bucks at some random stranger for promising you wet dreams in exchange is nonsense.

Bounty hunting is an extremely low skill work, you just click likes on twitter and make some shitposts, anyone can do it, so because of that and high competition bounty hunters will always be treated poorly. This is simply a big waste of time, you are earning peanuts and not learning anything, not growing, and in the future, when bounties will be gone, you'll have nothing left - no career, no work experience.

Also , i will not call out projects but if we can truly find a solution to this unending bounty campaign issues.
This will not end dude. Campaign that forces scam. Always present. Solution for participants to avoid scam is totally avoid it and better to join signature campaign that pays bitcoin or fixed payment. Problem is this is limited, Im not saying bounty campaigns are all scam some are still good but find it quite rarely.

I think this thread would help you a lot in choosing out good bounties to participate that have good understandable teams.
Hello thanks for the heads up. I always mentioned a disclaimer about my thread cause bounty is risky and I dont want them to expect to follow my call as its their own decision to do dyor. Anyway thanks again.

For the newbies in this community, we can,t stress out the fact that no amount of topic created here will change current events but if you apply simple guidelines, you MIGHT(i have reasons writing that particular word in caps). earn some rewards at the end. we are faced with Myriads of disappointments from projects conducting campaigns.
The toxicity here is quite same we experienced in our society and workplace. where workers are treated as if they have no lifeline. No hope. campaigns will kick off with BMs pleading and pleasing hunters. promising and dishing out out praises to campaigns members with sure payments immediatelywithout strings attached. (INCOMPLETE Sentence)

BOUNTY ENDS, projects becomes successful. suddenly everything changes. from the team turning into vampires and lashing out to BMs. treating them like mere servants. abandoning their terms and conditions initiated in the first place and dishing out New conditions like'we will make payment immediately after we list on exchange.(you are not yet sure). then, the BM transferring his aggression down to the hunters as if they are slaves.
the ordeal continues from one lies to another untill hunters and even BM sometimes becomes frustrated that they have little or limited option.it is with regrets to say that No amount of article written to accuse team of not paying hounters will change the mindset of investors as long as the project is successful. also, it is sometime to note that most new projects these days prefer creating their own forum or use other social media to community with their members. they never cross this platform.

i can go on and write or share views , just like other members here on what hunters passes tru here on this platform but that will never be enough. so if you are interested in hunting for bounties. it pays if you managed to work for a trusted and sincere team that understands how this space works and knows that even bounty hunters are part of the community. i know hunters that have not only campaign for projects but also invested a huge amount of their money because of the love and interest shown by the team behind the project and also the gradual successful development.

Also , i will not call out projects but if we can truly find a solution to this unending bounty campaign issues. this space will be fair. i thank the admins here for their hard work in fishing out fake campaigns and branding accounts with fake trusts. it is commendable.

For now joining bounty campaigns is so risky to the point that we cannot possibly get our expected compensation and honestly you need to deal with that since most of the bounty campaigns right now are operated by scammers so there's no surprise for this to be happen. If you cannot take those possibilities since you are counting the efforts given unto those camp maybe its best to quit since there's nothing we can do with it, we cannot control the scammers mind. There are so many options still available on this forum but you need skills and try to offer what you can do and earn on it.

Winding down.
Unfortunately you just came at the wrong time.

if you are here before 2018, you would certainly say the opposite as you would appreciate how profitable bounty at that time.
I'm not saying there's no scam, it still exist but I'm sure there are a lot of legit projects that gives a very lucrative reward.

Right now, scams are everywhere, so it's up to you if you will still continue bounty hunting with less chance of making money.

You are in this forum to understand and learn about cryptocurrency especially about Bitcoin. It was never created for earning purposes. If your objective here is to make money then you are in the wrong forum.

Bounties do not guarantee money for your work, projects use the bounty to promote themselves. It depends on them whether they want to pay you or not. You cannot force them to do so.

There are other websites that were created solely for Bounty projects and they can help you to earn money. In my opinion you should quite this forum and join those.

The scenario of bounty campaigns in BTT.

1. They are creating an attractive bounty thread which have large amount of bounty pool and many exchanges listed after the sale. They also accommodating the bounty hunters which want to join and promote their campaign.
2. At the middle of the campaign, there are few changes to the campaign and some additional tasks.
3. When the bounty ends (the part which I hate the most), why? because this is the time where the campaign changes a lot. They modify the percentage of allocation, date of listing and distribution. They always saying that hunters dump the project, wherein fact only 1% of the pool is in the hands of hunters.

They keep on promising as until the time where we don`t follow the project and they will announce a new wallet etc. Which in the end, if you did not pass your new wallet, you won`t receive the payment. Bounty is really a hell to hunters. I don`t know why we are dedicating ourselves and effort in promoting those shit bounties.

I already disappointed to the system of bounty campaigns, they are really fraudulent jobs in the world. I don`t say all bounties but only 1% are really genuine and caring to the hunters.

I read on a news about one man saying Defi is going to still have value than bitcoin in the next 5 years, please how is that possible, but only just a way to decoy fools and novices to invest in such projects. How can Defi projects have a marketcap more than bitcoin in the next 5 years.

like fool's gold, DeFi is sucker's gold. they keep milking newbies as long as they trust these scammers and give up their money willingly! otherwise a DeFi token has literary no usage other than raising funds for the person(s) asking. such things can not even gain value over long run let alone reach bitcoin value.

keep in mind that there is a big difference between value (that could be measured using price) and market capitalization. it is trivially easy to create a shitcoin or a token that has orders of magnitude bigger market cap than bitcoin. but that means nothing.

I'm very much against scamming but as much as we criticize it for it's unjustness and what it does to the good users of this forum, i am just beginning to see the bright side of it. Don't get me wrong, scamming is very wrong and I advocate for those involved in it to stop but then, more like the merit system,
It has helped to shine a light on those who seek to earn that it pays to contribute and learn the precepts of cryptocurrency. Haven't spent a lot of effort in promoting campaigns as you bounty hunt, you end up getting nothing or even if you get tokens, they often tends to be worthless.
Why work so hard on the dark side when you can add a lot to your vocab on cryptocurrency ecology.
You see the light now I suppose, follow it and you shall shine someday.
Keep off the bounty path as majority of them are scams.

well what did you expect from scammers?
almost all of the ICOs created have been scams or at the very least a garbage token created to make some quick buck for their creators. you can't really expect them run a good bounty campaign and be honorable people.
it is the same with ICO, IEO, STO, and nowadays DEFI. you can't really complain when you are treated badly or even in some cases not paid.
95% ICO turned out to be scam, including all others mentioned to be scam. The projects can be real scam or are only wolf of wall street, pumping and dumping a projecting in a way for most investors to lose after they (scammers) take the gain. About the issue of Defi, it has been also a project that helped real developers while it can favour other investors but most of the time will not favour. The last thing I can never even think of is to invest on any Defi project. I have seen my friends gaining and losing. That is why some people will still always invest on it and lose.

I read on a news about one man saying Defi is going to still have value than bitcoin in the next 5 years, please how is that possible, but only just a way to decoy fools and novices to invest in such projects. How can Defi projects have a marketcap more than bitcoin in the next 5 years. It is not possible but a scam speech to lure novices to invest o the defi project.

Recently, I also read about an exit scam which is a Defi project that was even legitimized by Tron. We need to be careful of these projects.

Tron’s primary DeFi project whitelisted what looks like a scam.
https://cointelegraph.com/news/tron-legitimized-a-project-before-it-pulled-an-exit-scam-community-says
The Tron (TRX) community is accusing the Just Foundation of whitelisting a “DeFi project” that eventually pulled an exit scam, pocketing about $2 million in TRX tokens. According to a post on Tron’s subreddit, the foundation created a token whitelist for its Uniswap clone, JustSwap, to curb instances of fraudulent tokens and projects. The project in question, Tron Supernode, can still be found in the whitelist, even though the website has been completely deactivated as the community reported that withdrawals were disabled.

This is is simply nature of the altcoin bounty campaigns, especially those that haven't been listed yet and are in the early phase. Majority of them are pure scams, then there are some that are legit but fail due various reasons etc. The same way investors in those projects risk their money for future profit, bounty hunters do with their time.

What bounty hunters can do is to be more picky when joining bounty campaign and do their own due diligence, but majority of them don't really care about that. They simply join just about anything, no matter what it is, and few months later they cry about being scammed.

Good example of that is Bitwings promises smartphone that can mine 2 ETH/month. Ponzi scheme?. They had huge and very popular bounty campaign. No one stopped to think whether this makes any sense. Even when this was exposed as scam, bounty hunters didn't care much. They got upset after Bitwings cut bounty pool by 90%, and then they massively started crying about it in their Telegram group, not caring much about the fact that they promoted scam and possibly got someone to invest their money into this, all they cared is their own pocket. This tells you everything you have to know about an average bounty hunter (there are exceptions to those of course).

Bounty project are very not-successful, bounty campaign manger's has nothing to pay from an unsuccessful campaign, some projects runs ICO's two to three times over -some flavouring same bounty hunters- without results,
Bounty campaign hunters makes themselves choice less to bounty campaign manger's
+ They are low-quality/poor post makers
+ might be flagged/red tagged -bounty campaigns are insensitive to it-
+ Rule breakers/rapid irritating posters, just what bounty campaigns like.

Bounty hunters being choices less, makes bounty campaign dis-value them and runs the campaign how they please.
