Parental background play a vital role in early child birth, especially in Africa and Asia and others developing countries in the world today. Secondly Religion and customs also has its role in early child birth records. These are things we can control to reduce early child birth in Africa, people must be educated about the effect and danger of early child birth in order to control it from happening in the future. We're in society where anormal things are being celebrated, today people celebrate early child birth instead of speak against it in our community.

With the studies and experiences that I've read about #3. So, those are two things, you're right about not having right guidance by the parents to their children so they grow up being attached to other people instead of their parents. And they're not following what's taught to them of not marrying at an early age.

Second thing, because of having strict parents and due to the influence of many things today. Like social media and having peers, the children that are experiencing being restricted by their parents are the ones who likely to do something else and want to explore ending up in early pregnancy.

In Nigeria, early pregnancies are primarily caused by parents' lack of attention to their female children. In the early years of their life, they were left to care for themselves. They may become pregnant as a result of trying to care for themselves and survive in the culture in which they find themselves.

There is a widespread perception throughout Africa that female children are less valuable to their families. It makes no sense to educate them or provide for them because they will eventually get married and take on another man's name. To lessen the responsibility of training and feeding them, it is preferable for them to marry young. Due to the hardships present in most African countries, that is the mindset of the majority of African parents.

In some countries Julia child causes poverty but in certain countries there's no marriage that will involve yourself that to make you stop before because they have strategize there people they are citizens because they know really know the census of people born in that country but it is in a local countries where by earlier marriages courses a poverty

Kids now days think they know everything and they have don't care attitudes. Look how some of them talk to grown ups. Disrespectful parents is where most kids learn this attitude. Many men also abuse young girls. Some girls know what they do is wrong when having sex without using a condom. We all think our children is the best and .any of us don't want to know that our kids is wrong. In my country children from a young age is being taught about sex. What  precautions to use. Our world is going mad

The main cause of early childbirth is mainly the fault of the parents, most of them fail to properly educate the female child, they allow the female child to live the way they want and they avoid bringing up major topics that the females can learn from,  another reason for early childbirth is when the child is not going to school, if she goes to school and is educated then she will be aware of when to meet a man and when not to, to avoid getting unwanted pregnancy. This is not to say that girls in schools do not get unwanted pregnancy, but the chances are lesser with them.  

I will like to emphasize on lack of parental care and child's health and sex education, the society had been left vulnerable today with young female children on the street without proper education and good parental care, they lack access to many basic amenities and fall at wrong hands because they also lack who to teach or defend them whene this kind of child assault of sexual harrasment occur, we need to take good care of them, value them and nurture them the way they should go because they are the mothers of tomorrow.

This is life mistake that can happen to anybody,  even the men without any factor. Op do you know one can get pregnant and decide to terminate it, pregnancy is something that can happen to anyone in a sexual relationship,  when it occurs it is one choice to keep or take it off. Their many reasons why most girls accept pregnancy best to them, sometimes the decisions comes based in the kind of family background we come from, if it will lead to marriage with the person who is responsible for it , their are many reasons for these. It happens to a girl from poor or rich family,  good family background or not.

What I have always educated parents about is the importance of quality time with the kids, and this quality time is not only by the mother alone this must be the involvement of both parents and child training can't be handled by a single parent,  that kind of practice is what has to lead to the present societal crisis today where we have so much character decadent in the system today, and the only solution to redress the earlier stand and also try to give lit kids all the whole sex education their need.

-Early child birth from young people is worrisome and their inability to Carter for the child is a big challenge to most of them have to rely on that.

I believe it all depends on the environment in which you live.
If you don't give your child a good home education, he will learn from the street, and that is exactly what is happening to our girls. In Nigeria, children are now raised by either their parents or their environment.
You'll notice that children who grow up in a good and secure environment are always calm and have good morals.

yes you're very right about that ,most parents don't give their children that time too,that's one thing all mother's should know also ,a female child is a blessing to the family but most mother's don't give their kids that time to sit them and talk to them to teach them,my both parents never thought me that too,it was my grandma that puts me through and I got to know all about it ☺️

Practically in Nigeria, I think early child birth are cause by so many reasons that's yet to address till date, tradition and custom has alot to do in any child birth records in the country. Religion and spirituality also has its role couple with ignorance and parental care. Etc, until we address these issues in the country we should not expect a change

And the girl that they give birth at age of 14 to 15 years it is raining that the girl rock educational background and the secondary the girl might also like country name from the parents so these are the two things that is involved because someone who is educated can not give birth at the age of 14 to 50 years because earlier pregnancy brings the ambition of girls than

There are lots of reasons why young girls get pregnant out of wedlock or young boys having baby mamas. Parenting is a full time job. It helps when both parents are together in the marriage, the children turn out to more productive in society than children raised by single mothers.
 Since this topic is targeted at Nigerians, it makes sense to move the topic to our local board.

I wanted to point out that when I saw this post and made my first comment yesterday,  but the fact that it is politics and society section ops may be right to have posted it here.

Sincerely I don't really think the first two reasons you stated is why young girls get pregnant this days,
I might just want to consider the last reason and and speak about it (Lack of good parents)
Good parenting to me should not be holding your female child from going out, locking her in the room and preventing her from friends, as a parent please create a relationship with your daughter so she can be able to tell you everything at every moments, mostly for the mothers, let your daughters see you as a friend that she can tell anything at any given time,be open to your daughters always and give them the acknowledgement that you are always ready to listen to their complains in life and to give a motherly advice..

Teach your daughters everything you know about sex,so she can be cautious and have a clear knowledge about it, also tell her what she needs to know about ovulation period and otherwise,

The economic problems in most countries have made parents abandon thier responsibilities. Most parents step out of the house in the morning when thier children are still in bed and they come back late when they are already sleeping at night. They don't know anything about their children because they don't spend time with them.
Sometimes I don't blame these parents because without this hardwork these children might starve to death.

The girl child needs all the attention and there must be a healthy and free flow of communication between the female child and the parents. One of the easiest way of guiding your child is to build a cordial and friendly relationship that will make them open up and learn from you instead of getting advice from the social media. The problem we have currently is that most parents are not matured enough to raise sound children, therefore they end up raising half-baked citizens.

OP you addressed your post to Nigerians and you posted it in an international section. If your intention is to get the views of just Nigerians you should have posted it in the Nigerian Board.

We live in a society that if you grow older and don't have a child people will complain that you're barren as a woman and if you have a child at a younger age they'll say so many things even condemning the pregnancy. So am going to ask, how old is too early to have a child?  To me life is all about choice, as a mother, you can live a very crazy life and the daughter won't follow your footsteps, same thing as a mother who lived a calm and respectful live but the daughter goes crazy, so who's to blame here?


Sometimes those things mentioned above might not be the cause of early child birth like you say OP. The school a child attends might boost out some negative behavior in her especially by peer groups, things happens in school that changes a child that the parents have no idea of and a child's brain comprehend the negative behavior very fast, so I don't really think lack of education is responsible.

The poor background has the good and bad side of it, depending on how the individual manage to respond to the situation at hand, help can come from any angle and some might take advantage of the issue at hand, convince the child and sleep with her.

Parents always have 95% of child up bringing while the remaining 5% can come from the society, like if a parent don't have time with his/her child it becomes difficult for the child to Know her left from her right. In this case I believe all parents need to engage their child in sex education and other positive things of life, because is better to get those knowledge from you as a parent than getting it outside, if a child does get all these info outside, then it will be disastrous.

We have a lot of fundamental and physical factors that contribute to the reason for early child birth in female children, even though the points you listed in the ops are very popular among other silent points and factors we have some other more painful events that lead to early childbirth that you did not mention which as.
-pregnancy as a result of sexual abuse and rapes, we have a lot of children who become vulnerable due to one crisis or the other most especially in the northern part of Nigeria where insecurity and teroriste adoptions have reached their highest level.
-Young girls are forced into sex slavery and early marriage which result in early childbirth.

Parent finds it difficult in Africa to teach their children sex education, also there are few sex education programs carried out by government. This lack of proper sex education makes this young girls get into sex at their early age without knowing the consequences of their action.

In Africa,you will see a young girl who is two months pregnant, that don't even know that she is pregnant until she is been told or later when the pregnancy is four months and cannot be hidden. Parents,guardians and government have failed in this aspect of teaching sex education to these young ones.
