I have a doubt: when cryptopia fixes the LTC market, will the FUNK be removed out from the BTC market?
In that case, it may easily fall again to ~5 litoshi since there's no news so long ago about the future of the coin.  Undecided

Read the last few pages carefully and you'll know more about the future of the coin and why it won't go down to 5 litoshi.

if you refer to the tokens and at the ratio 500: 1 and blah-blah-blah ... I think this fairytale already lasts about 3 years old, right?
And plz, do not be ironic with me. I said 5 litoshi because the coin really stayed around this value for a long time, and I think it's perfectly possible it back again since the coin remains only on LTC market.
If you do not know the answer to my question (if the coin will be removed from the BTC market when cryptopia fixes the LTC market) then do not say anything.

For SONIC supporters; you can sell your FUNK for higher prices (because the airdrop drives up value) and get more money to develop SONIC.

But if you sell all your FUNK prior to airdrop, you won't get any Soniq ( or whatever is the name of the token).

from what I understand, the development team is planning to reboot this in a serious manner, but they aren't quite ready yet. Plan is to issue a new token, with a 500:1 swap, and then burn those coins, which should make the token AND the coin much more valuable, as there is a rather high supply right now.

Since we won't use the old chain anymore (and some people want to keep the old chain alive), why not do an airdrop for FUNK holders of the new token instead of a swap?
It has many advantages:

- For holders; you get both tokens
- For FUNK supporters; airdrops drive the value up, you get new tokens without giving up on FUNK and the old chain continues to exist
- For SONIC supporters; you can sell your FUNK for higher prices (because the airdrop drives up value) and get more money to develop SONIC.

Sounds like a win-win-win to me?

We are seriously considering doing an airdrop and swap, there is support for it from some of the team. I'll keep you posted.

Anarchy is not chaos.
I hope this coin can have a big success. now is the time to HODL.

Now is the time to buy. Once the token is properly announced, you ain't getting it for 1 or two satoshis.

Anarchy is not chaos.
I've got a FUNK pool about halfway built. Haven't the time to do it both fast and correct, so I'm going for correct. It's primarily because I want to solomine but hate dealing with asic to wallet mining, but since I'm building it anyway, I'll make it public once it's up and tested.

Anyone interested in a private test run, PM me. I can't set a schedule right now as I'm doing it in what little spare time I have, but if there's a good deal of interest I'll give it more priority. For my own use, it only has to be moderately secure Cheesy

Setting up a pool is relatively easy. Maintaining one isn't.

Oh, and Shavers, this one's for you Cheesy https://clyp.it/abhyt13p#

The token (Soniq) price will be much higher, at least at >1000 satoshi range. I can't reveal much but there's more than one reason i'm certain it'll be worth at least 1000 sats. Also, Soniq will be listed on solid exchange for a start. Moving to token will gave us various advantages given the upcoming regulations, over regular coins, we took many factors into consideration. Needless to say, Soniq team is taking the whole project as a legitimate business -well just like GameCredits / GNation did.
Was 10(ish) Litoshi buy to 1 satoshi sell a good profit - not at all, especially for those that realize it's potential. 1 satoshi is way undervalued. Keep in mind FUNK supply will decrease dramatically once FUNK to Soniq burn starts. Wink

Didn't see it coming; Great news.

I've just sent a req to CMC to reactivate the FUNK market analytics and also wrote to WCI to add a FUNK market to their site.

aaand...we're listed on WCI now:

Wow, I was wondering why FUNK was suddenly worth that much in my portfolio!

Great thing to see we're trading on the BTC market again.

C'mon

Sold the bands Funk on both exchanges due to wallet issues, and now
I' cant afford to buy their coins back!

Is this a pump and dump? I feel bad because I used the bands money.

can it please take another dip? Sad

no it is 1 sat, can be lower than that

so what happened is that funk was traded lately at around 10 lat rate, and now that is switched to btc market is 1 sat which is lets say 10 times more
it wen up 10 times in value, and it is sealed (cant go down)

if we are going to switch to ETH token (by the way EOS is going the opposite direction ) in the ratio 500:1 it means in order to have the same  marketcap new token should be priced at about 500 sat. Am I correct?

I honestly doubt that new token could be held at 500 sat rate,

what do you think?

I still do not see benefit of moving form coin to token
Do we have enough technical talent here to maintain the coin and its network?

how many coins are currently in circulation?

A bit shy of 50 billion.

EDIT:
As some of you know, I'm a heavy metal vocalist. I'd be very interested in collaborating with other musicians to make a song or two that are exclusively available using Cypherfunks Cheesy

Yeah, one got to love Biomech's voice! I've heard him singing but i don't have it "on tape" Smiley but it's his voice on Gamecredits' racing game promo vid:

As I see it, and this is solely my opinion from here on, this will create essentially two complimentary systems. The original coin, Cypherfunk, and the new token.

The use case I see for this is that the token will probably be used for major undertakings and purchases, such as tour contracts, payment for music, etc, whereas the original chain will be more for tipping musicians, or perhaps a smaller unit of payment for such things as downloading a song or unlocking DRM.

This was a project started with high hopes. The music part went really well, but the coin kind of failed to take off. But as of yesterday, there's a market again, and that's a good start Cheesy Especially since the token will launch sometime in the near future, now is probably a great time to stock up.
