Na everywhere people dey complain about this bad road, for my state sef a pregnant woman no for enter road say she dey travel she will not be comfortable, even road to our governor side no good, how can a road to a government town is not good and we expect our own to be better, we just pray to have to have a good leaders for tomorrow, of not for now this country government just care about themselves.

I am really failed up with my country's bad road.
E get one dey like that I dey travel go home, omo me nialy die for pot holes because dey road no smooth at all. Most especially last I travel go Aba I really hear am for road, but I no too reason
am becausee I know say everything dey on budget but na pipo wey dey inside dey collect am out even
not having pity for ourselves knowing say if dem do am well na dem go still carry dey glory.
Why I no too put mouth for we country matter be say, talk as you like no body go hear you or no changes. The only change we get na to ready our PVC to put better person wey we know say go hear our cry no be person wey go wan kill us join.

How we go fit take achieve an increase in the quality of our road to bring about a safe transportation, wetin you think government fit do or dem dey do wrong?.
My broda, dis bad road matter, na something wey be say e they every where as u talk am. You no fit sideline one particular state wey get complete good roads both for villages and touen, even Abuja wey be capital self get enough bad roads.I they reason say government no carry the road matter for head because dem get money fly go where them wan go a why dem leave us wey not money to book flights with the bad roads.
The only solution wey I feel say go help us na good representatives from our local communities, if all people wey de represent us for Top they talk wetting be our problems, them go look into am and repair the roads.

Na true say Nigeria get plenty bad road wey government never fit work,some of them go promise to workam when them dey find position,and the moment them get that position them go leavam undone without touching it.Some of the leaders go work only the road wey spoil for their own area,and forget about the ones wey dey other places.All this things na wetin some of our leaders dey do wey no good.
But wait oh, why we dey wait on promises from the government for our roads to work as dem supposed be. Like this one no be their money dem dey use oh, na now our money. Like all the tax we dey pay, wetin dem dey use am do. The good roads no for dey among our problems as we get the resources to handle that. This government no try at all. We no supposed dey beg like this and una dey funny me when people come out they praise this particular government for doing road like na as e dun bad reach.

Na true talk you just yan Sir Brainboss, and if you look very well, you go see say most of the bad roads we get for this country na "Truck A" road, (I.e roads meant to be constructed, maintained and finance by the Federal government, found mostly in the South, East and West due to it's negligence to these part of the country, while all the North has good roads. However, our governors are trying in this aspects, most especially Wike "Mr Project" who transformed Port Harcourt to into the garden city always known for. Because the cause of bad roads in this country is caused by bad governance/corruption, so the only solution be also be we electing a competent, good, vibrant and hard-working leader in our forth coming 2023 election who has everybody at heart.

If not imagine day eleme refinery road for Rivers state, road wey the bring money to federal porse wey every day tankers d use d road yet govt no see am how bad d road don be. Basket mouth say na only for Nigeria dem no dey doge potholes, you just choose the one you go enter. Those two roads you mention na roads wey I don used recently and their states are so pathetic. Our politicians no send us at all and I know say most of them no dey do interstate travels by road na by air, so them no really care. And even when them want award contract dem go just use their own company or a friend. Government dey shout already say load Don too much for am and I no sure say government alone fit take the responsibility of maintaining and constructing new roads for our country. By reintroducing that toll gate again at least those heavy duty vehicles wey dey follow spoil the road go dey contribute to it maintenance.
I no understand wetin d government dey do wey dem no fit take responsibility of creating good road or making the already existing ones motorable. We too dey give this government free pass if not we for no dey experience wetin we dey surfer like dis. Na government we elect into office to make our living conditions better so if dem no fit run am den make dey step down make people with vision enter there change things

This na exactly the same topic I been wan talk after I nearly die yesterday for traffic caused by very bad and dangerous road and it's really bad and disheartening seeing a federal road in a very bad state and condition and one major question I dey always ask na if government no get allocations for this stuffs as in good road ?
I think say na the right time to create some committees wey go dey in charge of inspecting this road and this committees should possibly be foreigner that wouldn't take bribe and make we see howfar we go reach because e dey pain me whenever I dey fall out come jam bad road

Bad roads na long-standing problem for Nigeria oh, no be today we the citizens begin manage Naija road, e don kill many people, e don scatter plenty businesses, e they cause better problems everyday for people, person go enter road for 1 hour journey, e go spend like 5 hours for road, e no make sense na, but as typical Nigerians we just have to endure so tey we don become inure to suffering.
Having said that, the cause of this problem is the same as most of our problems, and na corruption, na wetin they destroy every sector for Nigeria, that is why nothing they work, if government no embezzle money wey them suppose use build new road, then road go good, if them no carry contracts give their family members wey be incompetent and greedy engineers wey go chop the money to construct new roads, come construct nonsense with substandard equipments, then road go good. The matter choke oh, and na only good governance and competence go change everything.

Okay make we leave all this article, I just gaz put am as e make sense when I read am. Normally we know say road no good for Nigeria like na one of the things we dey lack for this country plus the road no come safe self join (so na double wahala).
If we dey wan consider the region wey get bad road pass, I nor sure say any side get bad roads reach eastern Nigeria. Use Aba road do example 
I wan know how ur own area be for the bad road matta, how we go solve this problem because when you reason am this bad roads follow for many of our problems as e dey spoil market as transport dey increase, car maintenance dey cost as the road the follow spoil cars then market come dey over cost due to all this factors. In one of residence in Rivers State, the road is in good condition, not just because the government did the road, but also because the residence around there have very good maintenance culture, If dem see pot holes, dem dey fill am us with cement, dem dey tidy their drainage so water nor go dey gather for the road, na street road be that, and na so dem dey maintain am. If Government fit adopt good maintenance culture, dey run maintenance for roads wey dem dun do, e go make sense. To just the road and leave am anyhow nor go well, before person go know e dun spoil.

I have made peace with myself that there will always be bad roads in the country. In fact this one be like one of the achievements of our politicians. Sometimes, I dey see some youths for my area dey carry stones dey pour inside pot holes or pour sand inside places wey don bad for the road but we know say all these one na just temporary solutions. If nor be for bureaucratic bottle necks and corruption some of these road rehabilitation projects /contracts don already dey awarded but contractors and their people don chow the money.
One solution na to snap these roads wey dey bad for we area, upload am online - Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, then tag the governor, reps member, Ferma etc. All those relevant agencies. E nor get way , wey one of them nor go shook eye or ask questions.

For my side ehnn, the road the road in some areas is Very bad while some is manageable, the federal road called east/West road is nothing to write home about, Trailers fall down there on daily bases becos of the bad state of the road, Even tankers, lives have been lost, just last year October A trailer hit a car on the bridge Der into the water and some passengers drown to death, you will see trailers falling in front of people's residential buildings and am forced to ask what if children where outside playing what will be the story, most times some of them fall and obstruct the hold causing Hold up and delaying the time of travelers.

When we are talking about bad roads, i think it's something common everywhere but the extent differs from each other, this issue of bad roads is actually common to most of the developing countries and the underdeveloped ones while the developed countries adjust any fault found with their roads as quick as possible before it's been noticed, this is all about the kind of government system in place, the mode of administration to public affairs and the extent to which there's corruption in such country.

This road matter na one real gist wey everyone dey try avoid right now. No be because of say e no concern us, but because inasmuch as we talk reach, nothing still dey change. Upon the road taxes wey Agbero, FRSC and other government agencies dey collect, it is not enough to consider the repairs. The worst na when rainy season begins, coupled with the rising cost of energy, PMS and vehicular maintenance cost; no wonder many dey sell their motor instead.
For my side right now, the roads dey manageable because of the dry season, compared to when it rained. All vehicles and bikes can easily maneuver the holes.
If them been patch up these bad roads on time at earlier signs of cracks, e for save a lot more stress trying to think out cost and allocation of contract palava per square meter, of the current road in question.
