I am sure that the dream will come true for many of us. We all are trying to do the same with bitcoin. I personally want to buy a superbike with my bitcoin savings and with the blessings of God, I hope I will be able to do it within a year or so.
I think it is safe to say the dream of getting rich with bitcoin is the dream that almost all of us have. but the difference is in what we are willing to do for it.
I see two groups of people with this dream:
1) the bigger group are those who want to get rich but do nothing about it except accumulating some small amount of bitcoin (maybe 1BTC at most) and then start wishing bitcoin to reach $100,000,000 so they can get rich.
2) the rest, who don't believe in magic
and believe in a more realistic price so they try to earn bitcoin by working hard for it, and investing in it buy buying bitcoin when it is cheap before it is launched to the moon, or making investments like trading, etc.
I try to be a part of the second group, how about you?

Must admit, you're right to the point. There is a third kind of people, however.
3) Those who work too hard, waste days on faucets, solve for captchas to get dust and invest in an HYIP or Ponzi scam and later complain about unfair life. The online world is similar to old days where the peasants did all the hard work to get nothing but bare minimum for a living while the rich used to exploit all of them doing almost nothing
In respect to end result nothing has changed substantially since those times
But there is still a difference of kind (as opposed to difference of degree). Earlier, peasants didn't have any options at all, i.e. they basically couldn't change anything however hard they might have tried (if they tried at all, of course). I mean en masse, and not some exceptions who really managed to rise from zero to hero. Today, most people have all the tools to get from rags to riches, but they are quite content with what they already have, even if they claim otherwise. As the wisdom goes, when there's a will there's a way
Maybe not to get rich, but sure as hell to earn a decent amount of money with bitcoins.

This is true but its right now going up and down real fast so its hard to predict what is happening right now, I think that its stil possible and the price is still pretty high.
Well a simple piece of advice to you guys, if you are aiming to become rich with bitcoin. You don't have to panic when there is a price dump that is happening. New to the industry will certainly be scared when that happened but if you are going to be tough enough you can just like those early adopters who became successful because of their belief that bitcoin will going to keep on pumping.
The price did really fall and it is now $872 but still my dream of getting rich with bitcoin is not going to be affected just because seeing the price to fall. That's true when there is dump usually there is a pump and vice versa. So I'm already used to this type of event as it has been happening for so many months and years way back then.
We hit a 812 dollar bottom a couple hours ago in bitstamp, right now it has climbed all the way up to 888 dollars... the question is of course: was 812 really the bottom? are we going to keep descending while having those ups and downs, or is the 800-900 area going to be the trading zone for some time before we go beyond the new ATH in a new rally? we'll see. It's tempting to short now hoping for another 800ish correction, but I dont want to lose my moon tickets so i will not gamble it.

There can't possibly be any reduction in Bitcoin volatility
Unless Bitcoin price crashes to zero and stays there of course. As I have said it on numerous occasions, Bitcoin price increase (without which further adoption is impossible, though it is only an effect, not a cause of adoption) will necessarily lead to a growth in price volatility as well (and in relative terms too), which is yet another vicious circle that will make merchants refrain from using Bitcoin as a means of payment. The recent price swings and those that are yet to come prove that point in practice

Getting rich times are over unless you have hundreds of thousands of dollars as investment/trading balance. Keep in mind that nowadays people can't even afford to buy themselves 0.5BTC, so how do you expect people to get rich with such an amount? It doesn't make sense. Getting rich will only be possible for certain brave/smart investors/traders. The average person just needs to make sure he makes profit, and that's it. Rich shouldn't be on the list.
Let's cut the crap here. It may be hard for many folks to buy 0.5 BTC right away, but by just participating in the signature campaign like Bitmixer in which you are enrolled, they could earn this amount in less than 0.5/0.035= ~15 weeks, i.e. in less than 4 months. Provided they submit 50 posts weekly (if I'm not mistaken about the max post count) and don't get kicked out by the campaign manager in the interim, of course (we all know her name, and she seeketh the prey). And if you are profitable at trading (since otherwise you shouldn't be trading at all), you will easily bootstrap yourself into double digits within a year...
Personally, I walked exactly this way (faucets -> signature campaigns -> trading), though it was not that straightforward, obviously

It may not make you a multi millionaire, but maybe you will own hundreds of thousands in whatever currency.And that amount will be something!
What I'm trying to say is that with patience and having a long breathe, holding and believing in such a young asset like Bitcoin with huge upwards potential in terms of value, it is definitely a chance to have a good life in some years.
It takes a lot of risks and effort to be rich with bitcoins,and certainly were not certain of anything can happened.Theres nothing wrong of dreaming big but we have to consider also on how to become rich?by simply do the possible move and try to be focus on your goal,once you earned on bitcoins simply try to invest it.
If talking about effort you don't have to exert more of it when you can just simply invest and buy a lot of bitcoins that you afford to.
And when you already bought some of it, you just need to wait for the right time for the price to increase and sell it after wards, but if you are that person.
Who is just working with bitcoin and you don't have any other source of bitcoin, getting rich with bitcoin will be hard for you but there's no impossible thing if you are that hardworking.

That's the way market works
You think that it is your fault, you reproach yourself of being too fast or too slow, and you come to think that you can somehow fix it in yourself (e.g. by holding coins for 12 months), while in fact this is what you are made to believe. In reality, it doesn't matter whether you are impatient or, on the contrary, as cool as a cucumber, you are still set to lose. Patience doesn't change a thing here since all people are greedy and, at the same time, fearful. Market knows all these feelings very well and uses them against traders (and yet more against wannabe traders). The recent rally which seems to have ended with a severe dump (after no less severe pump) is a classic example of this
