Stall selling vegetables will not work because there have been many more popular stalls and can sell cheaper than you.

When the economy is tough, you can open loan shark and pawn shop business. People will sell their valuable thing for money and some people who don't have anything are forced to get a loan. Here, you can take advantage from it, only give them loan if they have something valuable e.g. house. If they can't pay off the debt, you can hire debt collector to confiscate the house.

Some loan sharks even give offer to marry the borrower's daughter to pay off the debt.

Although the economy is hard but people can still survive. But that doesn't mean everyone will be lucky to survive the economy hardship. Economic hardships is inevitable so the people who are doing business in the market are also facing economic challenges, some are fortunate to succeed their business while some are not fortunate enough and they end up shutting down. In as much as life is concerned, people must face challenges. The economy is one of the major factor that influence business. If the economy is good business progress but when the economy is bad, the chances of succeeding is slim so we can not deny the fact that bad economy is not cause of some people not progressing in what they do. Or that it can't prevent us from doing what we ought to do. Bad economy surely has an influence in peoples life.

In this era, all people are survivors; there is no one who is not a survivor; even the rich are also survivors. This means that being lazy is not allowed, or else we will starve along with our loved ones. Now, how will we survive? Of course, one of those things is that we must have money.

How will we have money? We need to have a job for us to get money, right? What else? There are also sidelines that are called side jobs that can be done while we have a job in a company or small businesses so that we have a source of funds, and online opportunities like this crypto industry.

Your view about the economy and how to handle it might be okay based on your experience. But you are speaking like someone who is either a dependent, single, living in a rich country, or from a wealthy home. If you have a family that depends on you, it will be clearer that cutting costs is very difficult. The economy is bitting hard and people are suffering. Some people don't have enough to feed for a day, so how will they start a business? Let me also inform you that many businesses are closing down because of inflation and high taxes.

For me, I have been able to survive by cutting costs and seeking other side jobs because starting a business is not an option for me. I also encourage people who have the skills to run a business to start with available resources. They shouldn't wait until they have all the money to rent a space and buy all they need. They can start online or partner with other businesses. Complaining about the economy is not the best option, but seeking ways to survive is paramount. But this doesn't erase the fact that the economy is hard.

I think the key to distinguish hard economy or not lies on spending on tertiary stuff here, of course people will still spend money to buy what they need even in the hardest time for our economy the market will still active but hard economy just means people can't afford to be reckless on spending and only buy what's necessary I'd call that a difficult time for our economy. on the other hand when people can't spend anything or don't have anything to spend I'd call that economic crisis.

in my opinion people's complaint about hard economy is justified, we will understand if we are on their shoes, big fluctuation and all post covid economic problem that has risen is good enough reason for people to complaint and it's not wrong either to complaint.

I do not agree with the statement and what efforts can be done by people to fulfill a much better life. Work is difficult to get at this time so that it affects people in making money and in these conditions they will definitely complain because there is no opportunity that can be done. Nobody is able to help us if it does not make changes ourselves but complaining is something that is difficult to overcome under conditions like now.

If you want to get out of these conditions then make a much more appropriate effort and use the slightest opportunity to change life to be good. By making money we will be much easier to get out of the problem and even though we make small money, but if consistent can definitely change life much better.

The amount of capital you start your business with will determine the amount of income you will get from your business. If after setting up your business, you still have a very poor standard of living and cannot afford some basic lifestyle, it is still an indication that the economy is hard and not because you have not tried your best.

The economy will definitely be hard when the purchasing power of potential customers is being reduced due to unemployment, underemployment, inflation, corruption and some unfavourable government economic policies. The business will still lack patronage, making you not different from others who aren't even working as hard as you do.

It is good to complain, maybe the government will hear and create more opportunities for the people to earn good money.

It is unavoidable when people complain about how tough the economy is nowadays. In fact, this isn't the only generation dealt with and talked about it. Every generation seems to be problematic with the economy and only the real wealthy of this world are becoming wealthier because the odds and advantage are with them. They know how to sell what people needs and as you're saying, everyone still spend money regardless of the situation of the economy. This is bullshit. Most times you people say things without being realistic. Life is not an idea, it's a reality. Not everybody can be a business owner, not everybody will be a CEO, not everybody will be a successful freelance.
The economy is hard. I don't know how it is in your country, but in my country, inflation is over 100%. Do you have any idea how difficult it is to live in a country like that? Do you know how difficult it is to start a business in that kind of place? Complaining about the economy doesn't mean you're not working hard. People are working their asses off and they make a lot of money but the inflation is so high that they don't even have enough purchasing power to afford basic things.
Don't come here and tell me the economy is not hard when you live in a different reality from others. Statements like these are just excuses for very horrible governments.

The stock market goes up, the stock market goes down, but adding slowly and steadily to your investments over time will produce results in the long run. There are always opportunities to take, just don't be too greedy because it can lead to you getting wiped out. Try to have some spare reserves which you can use to buy in the depths of a recession when everything is going super cheap because everyone else has nothing left to spend. The best thing is to stay employed, but you may need to move around jobs if you want to work your way up the salary ladder - companies will often avoid paying their existing staff extra if they can get away with it.

It's easier said than done.

A lot of people have never made any kind of investment in their lives which means they can't just start investing with no experience or understanding of different markets and their dynamics. That is actually a recipe for disaster.
The time to learn is when things are normal and people can afford to lose money not at hard times. In fact during "hard times" people get more desperate and are more susceptible to making mistakes.

With that said, if they have no other choice they should try to start very small and learn. First months should not include any major investments. For example if it is bitcoin market, then start with a small amount like a hundred bucks and see how you can make profit. Then after a couple of months increase it.
