I don’t think we should be surprised by Tottenham defeat, because Conte doesn’t believe his tactics are working, he doesn’t trust this squad and it’s starting to show. Furthermore a team like Middlesbrough sensed that Tottenham lacked the right mentality and the belief to win, and in the end they made sure that Spurs paid the price for lack of belief in themselves.
There are sometimes a club in Championship will make it up to semi final or quarter final in FA Cub, there are history like that. If I remember correctly, Middlesbrough defeated Manchester United, you can correct me but I think so. If it is true, Middlesbrough is not taking it easy at all this season and ready to defeat stronger clubs is what I am thinking.

Except for Burnley, Liverpool's been more or less crusing against relegation strugglers, but don't expect another goalfest against Norwich tonight. I'm almost certain it'll be a Mina-Origi lineup with Mane and Salah on bench for any last-minute rescues. But Saints-Hammers should be the feature match. Southampton will fancy their chances to go far, and are always a match for any giant they'll meet in QFs (remember they forced a draw recently against City).

My god, the Spursstill surprises me, when one thinks that they have already hit bottom or that this time they are going to fight for something important, they automatically take care of self-boycotting. how can you lose in the only tournament in which you had chances this year against a team from the second division

I felt really smart for avoiding them on my accas. They've been tricking us all season long, Spurs. Only worth betting on them as underdogs really. Was something like 17/10 on them last night? Looked like value since it was against Boro, an entire league position below them, but there you go.

Shame they're no longer in any cup competition though. Be raking in the money betting against them.

Actually I am not surprised that Spurs lost but I am surprised because it was Middlesbrough who beat them.
Middlesbrough in the FA cup this season has really been a pretty crazy team in my opinion.
In round 4 they beat United and now in round 5 they beat Spurs. The two highest caste clubs with quality players who are qualified and always at the top of the position table can be defeated by a club that can indeed be said to have improvised players who are always perched in the middle of the Championship League standings.
Middlesbrough is really something with all sorts of surprises Cheesy
That is true. When a championship team pulls off a win against the English Premier league teams, they would've just parked the bus and score from counter but in yesterday's match, Middlesbrough dominated the game, having more possession, more shots, and more chances. I just don't understand Tottenham. One week they beat Manchester city at the Etihad. The next week they lose to Burnley and Middlesbrough. It is just dishearten that Conte is not getting the results he wants after his trainings. This is the first mistake Conte has made in his football career, managing Tottenham. This team is inconsistent, today they play like a big team, tomorrow they play like they just lost form.

I didn't surprise if Tottenham lost against middlesbrough because this is FA cup which is the teams from lower division will giving unpredictable performance to premier league teams and every seasons it was happend so often however seems middlesbrough can recognized as giant killer this season because they were already eliminate big teams such as Man Utd and Tottenham
How could it be? I don't believe it's justifiable unless you know that Tottenham don't want to win that game or they don't want to qualify for the next round. We should all be surprised by the result because Tottenham are favorites to win that game and I'm sure there are a lot of gamblers who would probably bet on Tottenham's win. It was another surprise in the FA Cup where middlesbrough managed to beat Tottenham unexpectedly even when Tottenham did not rest their best players.

In another match, it was Manchester City who started the first half without a goal vs Peterborough and managed to win in the second half with 2 goals. Manchester City seem to be aiming for a win and also want to qualify for the next round as they did not rest their players much in that match. As usual, Manchester City dominated the game and won it perfectly.

I still don't really understand Tottenham, or maybe Conte is trying a few strategies every game but the result is a loss. Maybe it's the same as Mikel Arteta did for Arsenal earlier this season in the Premier League, but the defeat by Middlesbrough last night made Tottenham look like a big messed up team. In fact, Middlesbrough are not a strong team in the Championship and Tottenham should have won the match in normal time. But for today's match where Chelsea and Liverpool will certainly win, in contrast to the match between Southampton v West Ham, of course it will be a difficult match for both teams.

Conte was frustrated by his team, Conte was very disappointed with the results obtained last night, Tottenham were surprisingly beaten by Middlesbrough with a narrow score of 1-0, with this defeat Tottenham were knocked out of the FA Cup, Tottenham's only hope this year was to lift the trophy. fA, but unfortunately totenham this year have to fast for the title, if totenham don't want to work hard and play consistently, they will also lose the opportunity to get a ticket to the champions league next season,

This is an extraordinary event for Middlesbrough where Tottenham are next after Manchester United through a penalty shootout where we can say that Middlesbrough is a team that kills giants, as we saw in yesterday's match where the Boro successfully accelerated to beat Tottenham hotspurs with a score of 1-0 through the winning goal scored by Josh Coburn in the 107th minute which also brought Middlesbrough to the FA Cup quarter-finals

I don't find this so surprising. After all, Tottenham won against ManCity and broke their long winning streak, and Tottenham had also played excellently in the draw against Liverpool. But then they lose against Burnley and yesterday against Middelsborough. That's more a question of mentality and tactics and not a question of quality.

For sure if any team was going to break Antonio Conte, it was Tottenham. This team has no winning mentality whatsoever. If Kane and Son were any smarter, they would leave the team this summer. This just what Spurs lacks, winning mentality and mental toughness as a team who wants to win trophies, now I feel Conte’s pain at times. They can't win, They don't know how to win, They will never win. That's another season of no trophy for this cursed club. Conte needs to leave this Club before they turn a serial winner like him to a loser. Thought they were average but how wrong I was, they are extremely poor.

Tottenham Hotspur always make us surprise not only on Primer League but also on FA CUP make funny with loss result, I think Middlesbrough F.C. as championship team and on 8th standing position right now but why Spurs can talk more with championship team only. I saw Tottenham Hotspur keep as regular player last night with Harry Kane and Son as line up team but how come faced championship team not good enough result achieve by Tottenham Hotspur. I think need new game play strategy for Spurs how to win on next match on Primer League without waste points always.

Easy 2:0 win for Manchester City against Peterborough and maybe I expected to see few more goals but it's not needed to progress in next phase.
Other two matches are really tight but Crystal Palace has chance to kick out Stoke unless some miracle happens in last few minutes.
Chelsea and Liverool are big favorites today and most interesting match will be Southampton vs West Ham, my bet is on Saints to progress in next stage.

Yeah, I think in the FA Cup prediction everyone went for crazy 4 or 5 goals to nil, think that was my pick too. Credit to the home team, they actually made the first half interesting, even drew a yellow from Ake, but had to switch to Prem football as soon as that started -- turned out to be a treat too.

Spurs seem to be toiling, 1 shot on goal. Not staying up to see how that goes!
The pitch made it challenging for them to play their ordinary football although they figured out how to snatch wins. Couldn't score at first half, but Man City advance to the quarter-finals of the FA Cup. An average performance first half performance however a splendid outcome eventually. Fans were expected much better execution as they put bets at first bets. Anyway, Man City will brings the cup home.

Peterborough 0-2 Manchester City.

The actual results could have been predicted from the start because this was already seen in terms of the quality of the players and the striking difference between the two clubs.
But actually I was quite disappointed with City's game, especially for the second half, because in terms of price, it can be said that they are quite different, but their game is not better than Peterborough, which in fact is different from their caste.
The match was not even as expected, I was thinking by now it will be like 0-5😎, but unfortunately the Peterborough United are somehow strong defensively that's why they concede less goals.

Burnley are always hard to beat, to me they are one of the strongest team in England that are very difficult to beat,i hope Leicester city will be able to win because they have more ball possession than them, but Burnley has more dangerous attacks than Leicester city.

Manchester City had to wait until the 60th minute to be able to score against Peterborough United FC which is a Championship division team or the 2nd caste of the Premier League through Ryan Mahrez's goal, Mancheater City had difficulties despite facing the Championship division team, but Manchester City managed to add the advantage to become 2 - 0 through Jack Grealish's goal in the 67th minute. Good result for Manchester City in the FA Cup.

So it is 0-0 for a long time, and so it is 0-2 for Manchester City and the game is over. This Manchester team can muster the patience and then strike mercilessly in the 2nd half, as has now been shown. All in the space of 7 minutes. And then hold the 0-2 until the 90th minute and they convert to the next round. They are also a huge favorite for the title in this FA cup.
