Well, of course. Don't you realize that any popular leader is in prison just to do his job? He might take time off to go to the beach, but he is always worrying about how the country is running. He's in prison.

The point is that you are jealous of his prison. You want it because you think that you can do a better job.  Well, have your fun, now, before you get there. Because President of the world is a prison. There is very little freedom when you are in this kind of a position.

Cool

Are you talking about Hitler?

You seem to have a reading comprehension problem.

Cool
You yourself said that the position of every president is comparable to that of a prisoner. Then Hitler was in the same position, and Putin's actions are comparable to what Hitler did. I understand you are against such a comparison, but this is what it is. See the topic "Hitler's ghost haunts Europe" https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.35562338

A hooligan from St. Petersburg, brought up by the street, decided that being the owner of the Kremlin, the whole planet would be in the hands of robber.

Relax, man. The guy isn't even on the throne of the world, yet, and you are already trying to topple him off so that you can take his place.

Cool

No one wants to be in his place. His place, like any criminal, is in prison.

They are a big country with big ambitious

They're world's gas station with 0 technology (outside soviet legacy), but you're right, with a big ambitions. russia is just 1.5 % of worlds GDP but trying to act as US with a 20 %. This will end  very bad to shitty neoempire. We will break it ridge. (the same as world do the same to the Third Reich)

Any country wants to rule all. Some of the government people of some countries realize they don't stand a chance. So, they are far from trying.

The USSR fell because of its tactics. Those kinds of tactics don't last, even though they lasted for decades with the USSR. Putin understands this. So he is trying to take control through peaceful means... through friendly trade.

But when the US attacks him through Ukraine by using guerilla-like tactics, as they have been doing for the last decade or longer, Putin doesn't have any choice but to formally attempt to stop those tactics. That's what the war is all about.

Check out the Donbas area that the Ukrainian military has been bombing and using guerilla-like tactics on for the last decade. The civilians, both Ukrainian and Russian alike, are totally fed up with the Ukrainian military doing this. Most of them welcome the Russian military in hopes that the Ukrainian bombing, etc., will be stopped... whether they like Russia or not.

Cool

I did not understand! Please explain how the United States is attacking Russia, and even using guerrilla tactics? Thank you.

The West put up with the Empire of Lies for a long time, which eventually took on the appearance of absolute Evil. And today, on the territory of Ukraine, it is between Democracy and Russia, which Ronald Reagan rightly called the Empire of Evil back in 1983. Since then, Russia has not changed at all.

The Empire of Lies and its main liar in the new year will face big troubles. The new president, unlike Putin's protégé Trump, will finally introduce sanctions against Russia, which Trump has delayed. Moreover, Biden understands that there should be no negotiation with the liar Putin, because Putin cannot be trusted.

False Russia fell under the strip of disclosures. Bellingcat announced that she would publicize the real first and last name of the second suspect in the attempt on Skripale. https://www.interfax.ru/world/632100
The name of the first killer sent by Putin is already known; it turned out to be the GRU colonel Anatoly Chepiga.

Also, the revelations overtook seven Russians in cyber attacks against individuals and legal entities in the United States, as well as companies and international organizations around the world. https://lenta.ru/news/2018/10/05/they2/?utm_source=smi2. Moreover, the Netherlands caught four of the group in the act during their attempt to carry out a hacker attack on the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW). The latest crime of the Lie Empire against this international organization is clearly related to the Russian chemical attack on the UK, because the results of the investigations carried out by the OPCW confirm the data obtained by the United Kingdom regarding the identification of toxic chemicals used in Salisbury and from which three people were severely injured.

Undoubtedly followed by even tougher sanctions against the Russian false world.

Well, why do not people want to look at the essence, but only see the widespread information from strangers? Trump is friends with Putin and they will have mutually beneficial cooperation.
I do not think that these two men will have a mutually beneficial collaboration. To my mind, if to judge on the last events, they soon will become enemies one number.

The Americans continually play into the hand of Putin and his allies. They are giving up so much ground over a slow period of time I think many people forget that Russia has been taking land since they re-established in the early 2000's They are a big country with big ambitious

Yes, but the trouble is that Russia's ambitions go beyond its borders.

But isn't that how America also works? Except America is also trying to maintain a global police image, which  would become harder to do as others gain more leverage, like China and Russia. But yes, the current administration in Washington really is giving up a lot of space.

Russia and China are both expansionists (just look at their border disputes) but even the US had done this in the Caribbean in past (though not outright annexing territories). "The strong do as they can and the weak suffer what they must" still ring true today.

See this is the thing that some people think is going on right now, Americans don't just give into Russian demands at all. This just isn't something that happens in the least, they may make deals with them for strategic reasons but that's not something that is hurting them at all. If you were to compare the two different countries, you'd see that America is a much bigger country in the terms of pretty much all things.

Some people may even come out and say that Putin is stronger, but that's only because this man has pretty much taken over the government of Russia by force-- his country is still going straight into the shitter when it comes to global trade (due to santictions) military tech (due to not trading / innovating with other countries)

The saddest thing for Russia is that conditions are created there that the USSR collapsed.
