I do not think that it will reach to a price which is that much lower. Of course there is a possibility of reaching BTCs to the $4K limit but I dont believe it will go down further. And do not forget, lot of specialists suspect that this would be a sign of a future boom of BTCs.

The Worldcup has a direct correlation to the price of BTC the same way as how the World Series dictates the stock market.

Now can BTC hit 2K? Of course. But I think 4K-6K seems more like the bottom to me. We are all guessing however, but just making up time frames and numbers is a waste.

I dont think that. Although the price has decreased so much, there is no signal point out that can happens. 2000$ is a too smalll level in which there is no miner willing do the transaction.

That is a insane prediction. The lowest it will go is 5k. We tested 6k multiple time. The market is in a horrible place right (PCN blow up and alot of ICOS tanking). Morale could not be worse. I think a lot of the big coins are rebounding. I think if we are surviving at 6ish right now than we won't tank that bad.

why do you think like that? well, I think the bitcoin relationship with the world cup is not so thick. yeah, I'm still very confident that bitcoin prices will remain at current prices. but even though it's decreasing I guess it will not be bad.

I do not think that will happen. Wouldn't it too pessimistic if the BTC's price drops until US $ 2k. My opinion the BTC's price decreased until US $ 5000. And if it happens decreased to US $ 2k maybe we should go back to find another job. Because for me if the BTC's price reaches that price, than the BTC price will continues to decline until BTC's is priceless and the crypto currency technology will be shutdown. Sad

I don't think that will happen, I think the end of world cup will see a little price jump in the price of bitcoin because people will go back to their various counties and resume their normally activities.

I think bitcoin prices dropped to two thousand dollars is a very pessimistic thought once, I think the most maximal bitcoin price down this year is five thousand dollars.

I don't think so. I think the cryptocurrency market will be going up by the end of 2018. I believe in the cryptocurrency market because of the potential that it has and it can do for our economy.

Why on earth would the end of worldcup cause prices to drop?

Noobs try to find reasons to explain the market and get desperate so they try to find connections that aren't related

The #1 reason for this recent crash has nothing to do with news, world cup or anything, it has to do with Mt. Gox finally selling off the last of their btc.
If you don't know what this is all about, then just look it up.
Educate yourself on the issues that really matter.

As far as btc going down to $2k I don't think it will, the market has showed that people are very reluctant to let go of their btc below $6k.
There was a slight dip down to 5800 but now it's over $6.
There would need to be a very significant movement of btc to drop the price that low.
Rather, I believe the price will stay in the 6000s for awhile, then when people calm down, it will steadily rise again.
