Im a believer but I dont see bitcoin replacing any currencies.
Sure bitcoin is becoming popular but replacing currencies, the government
Wont allow it because they dont control over it. Bitcoin is better
To be independent to the government.

I will side with the true believers. ^hmf^ I believe in the steady growth of Bitcoin use over time and then a sudden explosion, once the first killer APP has hit the market for it. We just need to find the magic idea and then the kickstarter to pull it off the ground.

We will be successful, because we are pulling and pushing together. All our hard work will pay off soon.

I'm in the profit side.

But I like BTC, it allows international money transfer for cheaper, but I can live without it(and with less money sadly)

Now a days even a farmer can not live without a cellphone nor a television.
In future no one can imagine a life without internet. When everything (like your grocery bill, electricity bill ect)is available through internet, you may in need of a secured and cheaper payment mode. The answer to your search is bitcoin.

I am a believer to BITCOIN , because now a days security has a lot of flaws that can be bypass. Bitcoin Transactions will only take some confirmations and guess what you can now turn it to real money. I don't believe that bitcoin will be gone because there is a lot of user now that making the Block chain network alive. Bitcoin is the Future especially now that anonymity is a must now. The fastest way to transact and send money to our loved ones.

Yes, there are some unique things about bitcoins which makes them more promising and people are attracting towards bitcoins because of such qualities. There are many people who are fed up with the traditional banking system and they are looking for some better and hassle free options and i believe that Bitcoin is the best option for them.

I think future of Bitcoins is really bright and I also believe that one day the price of bitcoin will also cross $ 1000 mark. But this will take lot of time, people are started using bitcoins for their daily transaction and other payments like online shopping etc. Once the Bitcoins are trusted by the people and if they are globally accepted then surely bitcoin will provide healthy competition to our traditional money.

I think bitcoin will become very big in oppressive countries with currency exchange controls. I am optimistic about it's adoption worldwide but I still have no idea.

When I started out on Bitcoin, it was the solution to a problem. {More secure online payment method} ...It has grown into a competing currency and a good investment opportunity.

I doubt that it would ever replace banks or become the de facto global currency... but it will be a solution or a possible alternative for many countries.

People are fed up with banks... they are also fed up with corrupt governments... Bitcoin gives them a opportunity to feel how it would be, if they used something else.

The banks and governments will turn against Bitcoin, as soon as they developed their own copy of it, with all the features they want. Mark my words today.. It's coming.  Roll Eyes

Our only hope is thinking that people will wake up from the electronic fiat scam dollarcoin that they will launch and instead flock into Bitcoin's open source nature. Sure, we are still somehow governed by miners, big merchants and devs, but at least everything is transparent and we see the total supply, we see the actual code of the software. All of this will be secret with "dollarcoin".

I don't know, I kind of feel like bitcoin is the Yahoo of digital currency, It works, it's popular, and people have used it since the birth of this movement. But sooner or later the google of digital currency is going to come along with a vastly improved way of doing it and leave bitcoin in the dust. I don't think that's happened yet or is even about to happen, but these things happen all the time in tech. Friendster > MySpace > Facebook is another example. One dominates till something better you never knew you wanted comes along.

Keep in mind I'm not an expert by any means, who knows what will happen? If anyone did know I'm imagine they would become very rich.

What is Bitcoin and what will it become?
To believers, it’s the future of money, privacy and payments, the end of greedy banks and the fall of government fiat currencies.
To critics, it’s an elaborate scam, the currency of cyber villains, a threat to sovereign states.
To others, it’s already nothing, practically dead on arrival.

In which side are you?

I think it is adviseable to take part on each side, be critical towards your own assumptions and ideas regarding Bitcoin. I tend to be a believer, it is part of me to like things that stir up the world as we know it. But I can see the points of view of the critics and others, and see some truth in there too, a belief and being a believer is just that, a thing that can drive you towards change and giving hope, but when practising the use of the blockchain it is wise to take on a more concious mindset and put things in perspective, if you go only on belief, you will end up with a new relegion based on fairytales you made up in your own mind.

You should be a critic, always question yourself and others, what, why, whereto?

A believer of the tech, but not bitcoin replacing current financial system, most especially banks. The blockchain technology brought up a lot of interesting projects and ideas from other entities not working for bitcoin. I'm interested on seeing those developments done on the blockchain, and how would it further revolutionize the way we look at transactions nowadays. As for bitcoin, it can be a tool used to transfer value from A to B, but it should first come a long way before it completely replace fiat and traditional banking.
